When staying in Cyprus, it is very easy to slip into their relaxed pace of life. Relax and bathe in the sunshine by your own pool or choose to explore the many natural splendours the area has to offer.
This beautiful villa is located in Pomos, approx 20 kilometres from the towns of Polis and Latchi and approx an hours drive from Paphos International Airport.
This is a recently built villa of timber frame construction which is fully insulated and double glazed. The villa comes complete with a luxury fitted kitchen, oak/pine staircases and finishing's, private swimming pool and beautiful landscaped garden.
This immaculate detached three storey villa comes complete with a fully fitted kitchen, open plan to a large bright living and dining area with ceiling fan and doors opening out to the veranda, sun terrace, integrated air-conditioning/heating system in all three bedrooms and an integrated garage/utility room. Bedroom 1 is a double with en-suite shower room, fitted mirror wardrobes and ceiling fan. Bedroom 2 is a double with fitted wardrobe and ceiling fan. Bedroom 3 is a twin with fitted wardrobes and ceiling fan. The separate bathroom is tiled with bath and an over bath shower, hand basin, vanity unit and w/c.

Lovelly Villa but quite isolated.

Overall an excellent villa with amazing views across the bay and comfortable beds which is a big plus. All of the expected kitchen and laundry appliances including 2 large fridge freezers which was great for storing drinks separately. Be prepared to travel, it's quite far out of the way and a good drive to get to a decent supermarket so stock up before you make the journey. Only really 1 restaurant within walking distance which was a shame as that racks up the driving if you fancy a meal out, same with bars if that's your thing.

Perfect modern luxury a stone's throw from the beach at Pomos

We've visited the broader Polis area many times, and have regularly headed to the harbour and beach at Pomos for snorkeling. This was the first time we've actually stayed as far along as Pomos itself though, and it turned out to be a perfect location for us. The Villa is absolutely lovely. It's a modern build, and under its traditional looking exterior is actually a super insulated timber framed house. This means it feels slick and modern with lovely oak kitchen and staircase, and clean and bright bedrooms and bathrooms, whilst also giving you all the traditional Villa feel with outside living on the veranda and a superb pool. The Villa was faultless during our stay, but Jim and Lorna who look after the property are just along the coast and come in to maintain the pool regularly too. Overall it provided perfect zero hassle accommodation for our party of four, and great value too. The standout this year was the proximity of the Pomos beaches. Most days my youngest son and I would take a quick walk to go snorkeling. It's an easy 10 minutes walk up to the harbour and the rocky headland there. Alternatively it's even easier to turn the other way from the Villa and walk but 5 minutes down the signposted path to the beach at Dragon's Cave. Simply walk down with snorkel and beach shoes, enjoy the clear and interesting seas, and then walk home again drying in the sun! Perfect and zero effort! We've never snorkeled so much on a holiday! The above said, as other reviews mention you definitely do need a car for other activities. Compared with e.g. staying in Argaka, popping to the supermarket at Polis is suddenly much more of trek, but the couple of mini-marts in Pomos itself are fine for most daily needs. Highly recommended overall!

Villa was exactly as advertised. Well equipped and spacious. Excellent value for money.

Although a little remote there are restaurants to be found only short drives away from the villa. Beautiful view of the small harbour of Pomos from the pool area and decking that was difficult to tire of. We could not fault the service provided by the owner. If there was anything we could comment on to further improve the experience it would be consideration to install air con in the main lounge area. It would also be useful to have an option on a welcome pack of some basics (bread, milk, etc) as many flights land late in the evening into Paphos.

The house was spotless. Jim Angus was helpful & kept the pool clean . Everything was in good condition &worked well. Very good value for money, lovely location. It would be nice to make use of the roof area as the views were very good from there , better surface to walk on & seating up on the roof would be a bonus !! The neighbours dogs constantly barking were an irritation . I would use HomeAway again if the standard of houses in other locations were as good !

PEACEFUL RETREAT

Harbour View Villa is a well equipped property in a beautiful, peaceful setting overlooking Pomos Harbour. The Kanelli Restaurant is within easy walking distance and the small kebab-house, Eleni's, a short drive away. Although small, with a limited menu, Eleni's serve excellent food at a very reasonable price. The nearby village of Argaka has a bigger selection of tavernas, our favourite being Liza's Place. Jim and Lorna provide excellent support for you during your stay should you need them and the neighbours are extremely friendly. This is a Villa providing everything you need for a totally laid-back relaxing holiday. Car a must!

Perfect in every way

We wanted a quiet location for a weeks stay (living in busy Limassol). This was exactly what we found at Harbour View Villa. Stunning views, quiet location but near enough to the beaches and local shops and taverns. We ate in a lot so had brought up plenty of provisions without having to run to the shops much. The villa is spacious, clean, and simply decorated with modern furniture. The couple who oversee it were very helpful and friendly. I'm missing the peace and the views already and hope to visit again next year.

wunderschöner urlaub

Wir haben uns in dem Haus und auf dem Grundstück sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir waren Anfang November dort und haben bei tollem Wetter Schöne Wanderungen und Ausflüge gemacht.Der Kontakt mit dem Eigentümer und dem Verwalter War sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. Wenn man auch noch den Swimmingpool nutzen kann (uns war es schon zu kalt) - ein echtes Traumhaus.

Everything we needed to relax in Cyprus

We were looking for a quiet holiday place for a party of 5 adults, with a private pool. This property was the perfect choice. Located in the coastal town of Pomos in the north of Cyprus, definitely in the calmer part of the island, the Harbour villa is exceptionally well-equipped, with a full kitchen (with grill utensils), three very comfortable bedrooms (two double and one twin -> max 6 people), and a private swimming pool with four sunbeds and BBQ grill. The swimming pool area is worth mentioning, because its surroundings are nicely decorated and the pool itself is 2 meters deep, thus much better than the common “paddling pools” around Cyprus. The house is tastefully furnished, cool and quiet, has fans and air-conditioning in every bedroom, and is conveniently located on the hillside with nice seaside view. The closest shop is in Pomos, rather not a walking distance, but there is a nice restaurant in the nearby harbour (hence the name). A car is recommended for this place, since Paphos is one hour away, while even Polis is a 20 minute drive. The owners were extremely kind and helpful throughout from the first booking enquiry to the day we came home. The manager met us at Pomos, gave us a great deal of local information. We were able to check-in early (6am) and check-out in the night (3am) to catch our flight from Larnaca airport (2:30h drive). The Harbour villa is a "character" property - there is everything here that you could possibly need for the perfect relaxing holiday break. I would strongly recommend the property and we will certainly return again in the future.

Fantastisch moderne woning

De woning is modern schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De slaapkamers hebben allemaal airco en de heel ruime woonkamer/keuken een ventilator. Bij het zwembad heb je totale privacy. De omgeving is heerlijk rustig. Wij hebben echt genoten, het is een aanrader. 1 km richting zee is een restaurant en bar te vinden en in het dorpje een kleine supermarkt. Een grotere vind je 18 km verderop in Polis. Tip: huur voor een dagje een boot in Latchi.

Quiet Peaceful Retreat

The villa was modern,spacious with excellent standards of finish. The Villa is aptly named as the views of Pomos Harbour especially from the Sun Terrace are stunning.The weather during our stay was 35+ degrees which made the air conditioning a very welcome addition.The pool was larger than average maintained weekly by Jim the property manager who was extremely helpful and approachable if required.My teenage daughters avoided social media withdrawal symptoms as the property has excellent WIFI connection. The property creates an excellent base for those who want peaceful relaxation. A car is a necessity to explore the surrounding area however Pomos Harbour is a 10 minute walk and the Kanalli Fish Restaurant which provides an elevated view of the harbour is worth a visit. I would definitely recommend to friends as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa details are extremely accurate and the whole experience was a very positive one.
