About the host
Hosted by Suzie Bushby

My family and I became the owners of Killerby Hall on the 27th November 2009. At that time the Hall and Pavilion were used as holiday accommodation and many of the out buildings were let to trades people to maximize the commercial potential of the site as a whole.
I think it would be fair to say that the site hadn’t been ‘loved’ for quite some time and the Hall and Pavilion felt a little tired.
Despite the Winter of 2009/2010 bringing possibly some of the most harsh winter conditions the country has experienced in many years we did our best to clear the site of builder’s trade waste and general debris that had been left by the tenants occupying the stables and garages.
Since this time the whole family has worked hard to maintain and further progress the site. We are still a work in progress but hopefully our former guests, may who return year after year, will testify to it being a lovely place to stay.

Why they chose this property
So here we are, the proud owners of Killerby Hall and what a task lies ahead of us. As a family we hope to make The Hall our ‘forever house’ and as such we anticipate the Hall to be a ‘work in progress’ for many years to come. The same can be said of the garden. We have so many ideas of how we would like to reinstate the elegant gardens that used to surround the Hall but time and money will play a part and so progress will be made as and when we can. ‘A labour of love’ I believe they call it. We also have plans to surround the Pavilion with a lovely garden space for the exclusive use of our guests.
In the short time we have owned Killerby Hall we have tried to make the Pavilion house as lovely as we could whilst working within the spaces that the planners had allowed the previous owner to have and we sincerely hope you feel at home whilst away from home.

What makes this property unique
We have tried very hard to make The Pavilion House feel like a lovely home rather than a holiday let and the enjoyment of our guests is paramount.
We believe that our location is tranquil yet close to all the amenities that the area has to offer.
