Newly renovated steps from the Sea Hamlet Oasis 4 Great outdoor living space too

This listing is for the entire villa which consists of 2 bedrooms plus a loft all beds can be made up as 3 Kings or separated into 4 twins and one king. Please message me or check out the listings of the studio or the one-bedroom to suit the needs of your travel plans.

Hamlet Oasis is a wonderful little resort consisting of 27 individual home/villas. The resort is home to the famous dive site The Cliff. We have a large full service dive shop on site with knowledgeable and friendly staff, Dive Friends. Dive friends offers a 10% discount to guests of Hamlet Oasis and tank exchange at any of their other 9 locations on Bonaire. Hamlet Oasis also has one of the best swimming pools on Bonaire.

The villa offers complete privacy unlike other resorts with shared walls of a condominium. The villa has a private parking space as well as a public lot if more than one car is needed. The villa offers a huge covered porch with an inviting comfortable sofa, club chairs, plush cushions, teak dining set and ceiling fans that is a fabulous place to sit and relax in the evening with a cold beverage, eat dinner or sip on your morning coffee to watch the birds and lizards. There is an additional non covered patio off the kitchen too with sun chairs and gas grill. Both bathrooms were remodeled with floor to ceiling porcelain tiles. The cottage is one of the few with whole house hot water tank. All of the beds have brand new mattresses, pillows and linens. The kitchen was fully update and includes corian counter-tops, sink, new dishwasher and refrigerator and electric cook-top. All of the interior furniture has been replaced and includes dining room set, dressers, living room sofa and end tables. The addition of a 55" smart TV has been installed in the main living area. An additional smart TV 50" is located in the studio. Finally a 32" smart TV is located in the loft. The unit has 3 airco units; we are only one of two units that have living room airco units in Hamlet Oasis resort. The bedroom units are included in the nightly price. If you wish to use the unit in the living room there is a $10 per day charge to cover the cost of the electricity. This villa has a wonderful cross breeze and numerous ceiling fans. We ask that you are mindful of the usage of the airco units as electricity is very expensive on Bonaire (the most expensive of any Caribbean island). Please only use airco units when in the room that it is being used with the doors closed. Never leave the unit on when you are not home. The building is concrete and cools down within 5-10 minutes.

airco units are only to be used while occupying the room in which you are running it with the doors and windows closed. Do not use when not home.
Excessive use of water or electricity (more than $15 per day) will result in a partial loss of refund of the security deposit. Meters read post stay.
If an accident occurs on the bedding during your stay a charge of $50 will be held from security deposit to launder the quilts, mattress pad, sheets.

This is the second time I have stayed at Jason & Jackie’s place @ Hamlet Oasis. They are excellent hosts, communicate very well, and the layout/utility of their unit is fantastic and has everything you need onsite. Highly recommend!

Had an absolutely wonderful stay. The apartment is spacious, clean and had a nice porch for morning coffee and another for an afternoon tea or beer. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies including spices and sauces. The laundry worked great. It was wonderful to take a short walk to the ocean every evening and watch the sun go down. Absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend staying at this place.

My wife & I spent a glorious 6 days at the Mermaid Oasis and it wasn't enough. Jackie is a terrific, accommodating host and clearly loves sharing their home so that others can experience and fall in love with Bonaire just as they did. The Mermaid Oasis is not just another rental property. The Grays have included every amenity needed to enjoy your stay; and they've maintained the Mermaid Oasis theme down to the finest detail. The renovation is just gorgeous. It's so nice that you almost hate to go out to explore the island. The location is perfect. Very convenient for enjoying town, yet enough separation to avoid the cruise ship crowd if you prefer serenity.When Jackie heard this was our first time on Bonaire, she said, "You'll be back!" She's right, we WILL be back. And it has a lot to do with the Mermaid Oasis and Jackie's hospitality.We'll definitely be back and we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

Jackie and Jason were incredible hosts and the cottage was wonderful. Great outdoor porch and backyard with grill. We had everything we needed! We like to cook and every possible item we needed was there including spices, cooking oil, and all the soaps and supplies needed to maintain things. Everything was amazingly organized and labeled with instructions and a full cottage guide. Jackie was so responsive answering all our questions and addressing any issues immediately. The location was fantastic with great snorkeling right out front and a mile walk to town. Good restaurants close by. We loved Bonaire. Were there to snorkel and Jackie provided an unbelievably detailed snorkel guide for the whole island! Loved Bonaire. Such a cute town with nice shops and restaurants and great people. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Jackie and Jason’s cottage!

Beautiful Cottage in a Perfect Location

We stayed in Mermaid Oasis for 10 days and loved it! This was our 6th visit to Bonaire, and the Mermaid was the most comfortable and well stocked cottage that we have stayed in. Home: Everything was clean and in working order. The cottage had recently been renovated and was beautiful! The kitchen had everything that we needed, and more, for cooking meals and making drinks. It even had an air fryer that was perfect for re-crisping fries. The beds were very comfortable. Books and games: A great selection of both including identification books that we used after our dives. WiFi: Speed was great! My kids were taking online summer classes and had no trouble doing all that they needed to do. Television with Roku streamed quickly for watching movies at night.Location: Perfect location near Dive Friends (Cliff) and Captain Don’s, just a few miles north of Kralendijk and a short walk to the sea. We dove and snorkeled the local reef and saw a lot of life! We watched the sun set every night near the walkway to the shore or while sipping drinks at Rum Runners (just a few houses down). Resort Area: The Hamlet Oasis resort is landscaped with palm trees and flowering shrubs. We enjoyed watching birds during the day and walking the paths at night to look for crabs and lizards. The pool is nice and offers some shade with surrounding trees.Communication: Jackie is great! Only one issue with grill not working and she had it fixed by the next evening!We will definitely be back!

The easy entrance in multiple locations on the resort make this a highly desired resort to stay at. Additionally this is one of Dive Friends larger locations with showers, restrooms and snack bar. The Hamlet Oasis resort offers something that we found to be quite special....privacy. The mature gardens and separate cottages offer guests to be in their own private paradise.
