Garéoult (pronounced "lt" may or may not be pronounced) is a French commune located in the Var in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. It is part of the intermunicipal community of agglomeration of Provence Verte. The first inhabitants (Gallo-Romans) baptized this village "Gardia Altissima" which means "the highest sentry" in the middle of vineyards. Ancient fortifications to discover at the turn of the old watchtower, castle, gorges of the Verdon, lake saint cross the numerous wine cellar, to discover the best rosés of Provence, even organic. Wij hadden een heel aangenaam verblijf. Huis is beetje verouderd, maar netjes bij aankomst en alles werkte prima . Wagen noodzakelijk om prachtige regio te verkennen.Zeer grote ruime tuin : niet hermetisch afgesloten, dus minder geschikt voor honden/kinderen die er graag alleen op uittrekken . Zwembad niet verwarmd en met 24-25 graden voor ons een beetje aan de frisse kant . De kinderen hadden er minder last van . Hangmat en buitensalon zichtbaar op foto’s online, maar in werkelijkheid niet aanwezig. Dat vonden we minder fijn. Alles bij elkaar en zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad met veel te zien en te doen in de regio.

Really pleasant house for a wonderful holiday

We stayed for two weeks (July 2024) in this beautiful house with one family (grandfather, grandmother, 2 sisters with partners and 2 children aged 5 and 3). The house is truly equipped with everything you could wish for. The large kitchen is extensively equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, pans, glasses and equipment. Very pleasant during the stay. In addition to a large refrigerator in the kitchen, there is also one outside under the canopy, ideal for the barbecue. The bathroom (with washing machine!) is large enough, as are the 4 bedrooms, living room and sitting area. The outdoor area is very pleasant. A large canopy with a spacious table, large barbecue, ping-pong table and a large swimming pool with a sunbathing lawn. This is also fully equipped (sunbathing lawn, sunbeds, parasol, lounge and outdoor shower). Also fenced, which is very nice for parents with small children. The neighbor (who watches over the house) is very attentive, easily accessible, receives you kindly and keeps the pool clean. All in all, we had a very pleasant holiday!

Eine tolle Zeit

Vor Ort wurden wir vom Hausverwalter und Nachbarn herzlich in Empfang genommen. Er war jeder Zeit und gut erreichbar. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Die Küche ist geräumig und Es gibt ausreichend Geschirr und Töpfe. Der Kühlschrank war für uns 6 Personen bereits voll ausgeschöpft und für 8 Personen zu klein. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und die Betten bequem. Das Highlight für unsere vier Kinder war der große Pool, der alle 3 Tage gereinigt wurde. Wir hatten einen tollen Familienurlaub und kommen bestimmt wieder Wir hatten einen tollen Familienurlaub.

La maison était parfaite, piscine aussi , nous avons juste eu un problème à l arrivée, nous avons dû nous occupé du linge du locataire précédent.

Superbe villa

Maison spacieuse et correspondant à la description. Belle terrasse bien ombragé avec un super barbecue !!! Piscine au top en plein soleil. Nous avons été bien accueilli par Adeline. Nos valises sont prêtes pour l' année prochaine 😃

Location dangereuse et équipement défectueux

Location qui ne respecte pas la loi française en terme de sécurité. Équipement ménagers défectueux. Et propriétaire qui en a rien à faire. Seul point positif des voisins adorables qui nous ont aidés notamment avec le prêt d’un réfrigérateur car ça fait un an que celui de la location ne fonctionne plus correctement.

Super week-end

Maison au calme, bien équipée et avec des pièces très spacieuses. Le grand salon est très agréable et donne accès à la terrasse, couverte en partie. La terrasse comporte un barbecue fixe en pierre qui n'apparaît pas dans l'annonce. Les clés sont remises pas le voisin qui est très sympathique et disponible. Bref un week-end bien sympa entre amis.

Belle villa avec piscine au calme

Nous voulions être au calme et disposer d'espace, le contrat est rempli. La maison est bien équipée et a des grandes pièces. :tres grand salon et tres grande cuisine. Dehors c'est pareil espace repas, espace salon et encore pres de la piscine. Le terrain est assez grand pour ne pas être gênés par les voisins qui sont tres sympathiques. Gareoult est bien placé pour visiter la Provence Verte et aller aussi dur la côte. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
