The OVO Network team’s opinion -

The house is ideal for family groups or groups of friends. Its proximity to the stunning village of Cotignac mean that discerning guests can easily and quickly experience the best that a Provençal village deep in rosé territory has to offer.

The house is very comfortable and well equipped especially the kitchen, which is no real surprise, given that the owners also own a restaurant. With subtle gentle colours and natural textures throughout, the house feels light, airy, spacious and importantly cool! The two ground floor bedrooms, bathroom and the kids' area stay at a cooler temperature. On the first floor the blinds and sliding glass doors provide welcome shade and relief from the high summer temperatures. There is an awning above the outdoor dining table next to the barbecue, and the Mulberry Tree the house is named after provides intricate patterned shade on a different terrace.

With terraces and/ or balconies on each of the four sides of the property and gorgeous planting, it's always possible to find welcome shade or full on sunshine throughout the day, whichever you prefer. The pool, terraces and outdoor shower offer relief from the heat. The garden is totally secure and private.

Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

Important: parents of young children may want to check the photos and video of the stairwell linking the interior floors together to ensure their children will be able to use the stairs safely before booking. Maison Lou Amourier is about an hour from the sea, 1.5 hrs from the popular beaches and in busy periods this time will increase. There is one travel cot and a high chair at the house, more babies are welcome if you provide your own equipment.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

Idyllic villa with a beautiful view

We stayed for a week in this villa. Well appointed and located with a 15 minute walk to town. Excellent parking which was gated. We loved the pétanque pitch . The outside eating area is beautiful with an outstanding view.

Wonderful holiday home

Property was just right for our needs and owner was very helpful with requests for the children. The pool area was particularly great and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. The only downside was it's an extremely step walk back from the village for little ones and anyone with even minor mobility issues. No nipping out quickly if you need something from the shops! Definitely recommend a car as no taxis were available although the owner assures me this is not usual.

Awesome time in Cotignac!

We had an awesome time at the Cotignac villa. The space and the size suited us really well. The upstairs garden, pool area and sitting areas were really pretty and nice to sit in. The kitchen was well equipped. The location was really nice and we really enjoyed the cotignac village with its cute shops and restaurants. Cotignac is also very nice base to explore the Provence area. There are nice wineries around. Overall we had an AWESOME stay and would definitely recommend the villa to our friends and family. Thanks so much.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this charming, quiet and comfortable home. In a beautiful setting above the town and private. We bicycled different areas nearby, hiked the Verdon Gorge area, enjoyed the pool, and had a wonderful time exploring the nearby villages. Though a car is necessary, it is easy drive to nearly whatever you may want to do. The home is very well equipped for cooking with boulangerie, butcher and grocers nearby in town.

Nous venons de passer une très belle semaine dans cette superbe maison (3 adultes et 1 ado). C'est une propriété facile à vivre (grands espaces), et très bien équipée (juste sans micro-onde ni grille-pain !). Christiane, qui s'occupe des formalités d'arrivée et de départ, est charmante, professionnelle et très réactive en cas de question. La piscine est très agréable et les terrasses également. Bref, ce fut une parenthèse enchantée qui nous a fait un bien fou !

Great position outside perfect Provence village

Great villa a short walk from Cotignac which turned out to be a surprisingly lively and very interesting Provençal village. Villa was perfect for our 2 week family holiday, spent by the pool at the villa and by the lac de Sainte Croix. Very attentive owner and local contact when we had any issues.

The picturesque town lies in scenic surroundings, where you can experience a sea of possible activities for children and adults. The house is well equipped, with a lovely interior. The best rental !

A fantastic house in an amazing location with beautiful views on the village and cliffs. A very warm welcome from the property manager, with lots of useful information provided on the house, village and surrounding areas. We've rented a lot of houses in France and this was definitely the best rental. The house was extremely comfortable with everything that we needed. We felt at home right away. Great location not far from the village so we had the best of the quiet countryside and also village life. The house had great facilities and was very well equipped. An ideal holiday home for us and our two dogs. Cotignac is a beautiful village with plenty of amenities and definitely worth a visit.

The House was absolutely wonderful.

Nothing was missing and even the knives were sharp! There is really nothing to improve: the view, the pool, the kitchen, the different seating areas... it's all perfect. Also the organisation by Victoria the manager was superb from the beginning to the end. Make sure you visit and taste the wines of Mirabeau!
