Luberon: independent suite of 37 m2 in contemporary house with private pool

The 37 m2 suite is at the bottom of a contemporary house, with a clear view of the Alps and the windmill of St Michel.

The house is part of a small subdivision of 7 houses with private access to the edge of the village of St Michel l'Observatoire in the Luberon park. It was built as a bioclimatic house, that is to say designed to take advantage of the natural characteristics of the site.

It has independent parking, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, a bedroom (two people) and a sofa bed in the living room (two people). The 12m x 3m swimming pool is exclusively reserved for holidaymakers.

The village of St Michel has a restaurant, a pizzeria, a grocery store, a butcher, a bakery, an artisanal ice cream shop and a tobacco bar. If you prefer not to use the car, you have everything you need to eat well.

There is also a tourist office, an astronomy center, the Observatoire de Haute Provence, and the windmill which can be visited during the summer. For hikers there are trails allowing you to find the beautiful landscape around the village and further. There are also trails for mountain bikers.

Forcalquier, with its Provencal market, entertainment, two supermarkets and a tourist office, is 10 minutes by car. Also, the village of Mane, with the priory and gardens of Salagon, and the town of Manosque, are nearby. The mountain of Lure is 40 minutes by car (a little more if you prefer cycling), as well as the magnificent gorges of Verdon.
