Family fun Lake House on the Shores of Beautiful Lake Conroe with boat slips

This beautiful lakefront home has all that any vacationer desires. It overlooks the sparkling waters of Lake Conroe and is upgraded with vinyl wood floors for easy care, spacious open rooms with plenty of relaxing and sitting areas, fully stocked cute kitchen, quartz countertops and all appliances, high beamed ceilings and beautiful windows with French doors across the back for lake viewing. Please feel free to use the full-size washer and dryer where a few detergent pods will be provided. The house offers 5 bedrooms, three full bathrooms with 16 bath towels provided. We ask you to bring your own beach towels. The large deck is complete with outdoor furniture, outdoor kitchen with fridge and large gas grill, a wood burning fireplace for cooler evenings and marshmallow roasting, plenty of room for lounging and sunbathing and 2 boat docks for relaxing and enjoying meals and sunsets. A full slide and swimming area as well as a tree swing makes for many memory making moments Internet for those that need to do a little work or stay connected. We are conveniently located by a small store and cute park.
With lots of lake activities to offer including fishing, boating, swimming and lake viewing you will probably want to stay put but it is also Convenient to Huntsville State Park, The Woodlands, Houston’s downtown and a day trip to Dallas or Austin. Historic Montgomery Village, 5 minutes away, offers antique shopping, souvenirs, and a must-see Cowboy church with weekly rodeos. Drive twenty minutes south to shop at The Woodlands Mall and upscale marketplace with water taxi along its riverway. Downtown Houston offers an abundance of world-class museums, professional sporting events,concerts,theatre, shopping and more. Plan to visit the Astrodome, NASA LBJ Space Center,the Museum of Fine Arts, Herman Park and Galveston if time allows. Or just enjoy the beauty of the Lake, boat, ski, sun and relax!

The location is superb. Hopefully the next door restaurant will reopen soon. You’ll need to buy/ bring any water floating toys was our only surprise..communication with owner excellent. Boat ramp 100 yards away!

Multi-Generational Gathering

Property was the perfect place to gather the family together; 2 yr old to 88 yr old. It was a wonderful space for my dad to recoup after a stressful time and have the family around him!

The house is a relatively nice place, but needs some work. The chairs were weak (one broke) as were the boards on the deck outside the back door (broke through). The step from the house to the deck is a big one...be careful (needs a step). Owners need to have the house exterminated due to roaches, we killed at least 4!

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend fishing and swimming at this Lakehouse! The home is older but very cozy, lots of indoor/outdoor seating! Terri, the host, was very responsive. Would like to book again!

We had a great time. Location is right on the lake with a place for our boat which was wonderful. Kids loved jumping off of the boathouse deck! We even floated in water in front of deck to beat the heat on check in day. Owner very responsive when I texted or had questions.

What a beautiful home. We rented for my son’s wedding in Montgomery. It most definitely checked all the boxes and exceeded our expectations. Terri was an absolute joy to visit with. Great house!

This is a wonderful house with lots of room both in the house and outside. Wonderful deck and patio. Furniture/beds are very comfortable. Only cons are proximity to main road and nearby bar (noisy) and kitchen wasn’t very clean (old coffee grounds left in coffee maker). Managers were extremely responsive to any issues and very nice.

Awesome outside deck and great proximity to water

This house was outstanding! We loved the huge outside deck that had tons of seating. There are big trees that provide great shade. Love how close the deck is to the lake water. Our kids had a blast jumping from the top deck. We also loved the big table inside where we spent many hours working on puzzles. Owner quickly responded to any questions I had. A fantastic vacation!

Property as described and owner host exceptional.

One caveat on Friday and Saturday nights is live music from nearby restaurants/bar. A stay beginning on Sunday would avoid this. However such businesses come and go; music groups too. Several daytime guests expressed interest in pursuing a rental agreement.

Very easy to rent great communication with manager. We had fun. house definitely needs cleaned better, spider webs and bugs up on big windows. Dead flies in fridge.

Right on the water

Lovely lake home right on the water. Clean, comfortable and inviting. Huge deck area with loads of comfortable seating overlooking swimming area so you can keep a close eye on the children. Home has two living areas and a huge dining table that seats ten, as well as a game table for puzzles or cards and loads of seating at the kitchen peninsula. Dock areas include a swim ladder in the deeper water (7-8 ft, estimate) as well as a set of stairs which give easy access to the shallow water by the shore bulkhead (approx 4ft). The stairs were an excellent entry point for our sit-on-top kayaks. Owners were so considerate and easy to reach for the few questions we had. Highly recommended.

Spring Break

Started with a couple of "snags". New refrigerator on the day of arrival and needed 24 hrs to work. Property manager was contacted an was very helpful in letting us into the garage to use the previous refrigerator. City cut all power out for 5 hrs the next day, but we survived that. New grill was not hooked up an had to use the old grill with the new grills plate. The communication with the owner and tenate was exceptional. I would recommend this place to anyone simply because of the lines of communication and the action of the owner! Great place and caught fish!!!

Mothers Day Weekend

This terrific home was really fully equipped…even had a hand mixer! The description mentioned music from next door… the had a good blues band playing so honestly I enjoyed it. We had four generations there for Mothers Day. My 84 year old mother enjoyed her grand kids and her littlest great granddaughter. I selected the location. Because it was local to family members she does not see often. Nephew caught 2 good catfish. Cool little piece of sentimental info… yesterday would have been my Mum and Dads 63rd anniversary. Mum was missing him while we were sitting out on the deck. She looked up and a bald eagle flew over. Bald eagles are a sign to us that Dad is still with us. One flew over the church just before his celebration of life… and one flew over the church when my nephew got married! She blew the eagle a kiss. We hope to stay at the house again… for longer. Teri is a great communicator. Fast to respond and very warm. Thank you for sharing your home.

Filthy, grouse and less than expected!

There is not enough space to write comments and everything wrong with this property!We chose this property with the guest capacity for my son's wedding and main level bedrooms for grandparents,we housed all the groomsmen.We arrived about 10am on the morning of check in to find the property had NOT been cleaned.There were a few alcohol bottles/food under couches and in bedrooms,NONE of the bedding or throw rugs were clean, even questioned some of the folded towels in the cabinets(no rags),spiderwebs INSIDE,dirty windows and very badly pet soiled carpet in two bedrooms.We had to pay extra pet fees and the damage had been done before we arrived.The host had the 'cleaners' return with a 6pm check in.When we returned not much had changed.The carpets were still grouse,one bedding with definite slobber was 'washed' though had what appeared to be a tide pod smeared on it.All other bedding that was questioned was said to have been 'stained'.When we pulled some spare sheets and blankets from a closet in a plastic bag they were ALL very soiled as well.The host sent a pair of sheets which arrived late the next day and offered a refund to leave though at that late at night where would we go with 11 guest and main floor bedrooms?We had to wash EVERYTHING including dishes!!!!The deck is falling apart, cushions/grill filthy,spiderwebs everywhere and lack of lights.There is traffic noise as expected.One star for floorplan, one star for water view. Host 'tried',discount given,not satisfied.

Great place to stay!

This is a great place to stay and we enjoyed our visit. Two minor suggestions, add smart TV's to each bedroom and the one bedroom next to the bunk room was pretty warm, my youngest didn't mind.

Amazing for grilling and chilling

This property was amazing for me and 9 other friends. We enjoyed everything. The grill is great, the outdoor patio is super nice as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
