We had a great stay at this super family-friendly property on the lake. The kids loved playing in the lake, which was shallow enough for them. The house had great activities, too. We didn’t need to go anywhere else, but it was really convenient to restaurants.

Another great family vacation on the lake

This is our second stay here and it was another great time. Location is perfect for getting in the lake and floating or standing around as well as fishing. Will come again!

Wedding at big sky barn

The back deck was amazing, family loved it, so relaxing. We were busy with the wedding but it was lovely to have it so close to the venue to be able to relax before and after.

Lake view was nice, just couldn't fish because of the water activities going on. The cleanliness of the house inside was fine, except for the bulb bed room had a dog smell in it. Guest couldn't sleep in there. The entrance and patio area could have been cleaned from debris, dust and spider webs. Overall, we we enjoyed ourselves.

Amazing Lake House

The house was very clean, had lots of space inside and out and we had an amazing time! The fire pit and large mat to float on were the hits of the weekend. We will definitely be going back for another stay!

I have never written a review after a stay but this one deserves it. Me and my family choose this place because of its location and abundance of space. This house has it all! Beautiful home that is very well decorated and comfortable regardless of where you choose to sit or sleep. We all really enjoyed the patio set up and the upstairs game room. They had it very well stocked. You can show up here with just your food and start having fun! I will definitely look for this place in the future.

This beautiful home has now become a yearly summer tradition. Children, now teen agers can't wait to go to the "lake house." Our family comes together and we enjoy the beauty of the lake, grilling, tubing and of course, spending time inside this gorgeous home. Wonderful Family Memories

This is a fun house for families. Lots of room to spread out, lake toys (amazing floating raft), fully stocked, comfy beds, wine/beer fridge, gathering places, and big kitchen for preparing family meals. We celebrated our 10th annual family vacation here and our grandson said it was the best ever!

We traveled to Lake Conroe from Mississippi to play on a softball tournament.

It was great to come back to this beautiful house after a long day at the field. The house was so accommodating with plenty of space for everyone. And the view!!!!! So beautiful!

Good but could use a major cleaning of patio doors (lots of mildew). And slatted blinds a bit difficult to open and close. One of upstairs bedrooms needs a smaller dresser to avoid having the bed to be pushed against the wall. Guests typically are not in need of dressers.

Our Magical Weekend at the Lake

We have been staying at this property for several years now. My husband and I look forward to this every summer as it brings all of our children and their families together which would never happen otherwise. The home is gorgeous with so many special touches. Great location; wonderful host

We rented this home for a long weekend with our adult children and a new baby. Kelly, the owner, was amazing and so easy to work with. She made us feel like family. The home is clean and spacious with plenty of bedrooms for our group. Outside is so nice with covered outdoor seating area and large dock for sunning and/or fishing. We had a relaxing and enjoyable time at this home. Thanks again Kelly for letting us use your home. Highly recommend this property and we are already looking forward to the next time we will stay here.

Property as pictured

The property was clean, the host answered questions promptly and she provided 'welcome snacks', which is always a nice touch. The backyard had a beautiful view of the lake. The 5th bedroom is a bunk room that does not have a door, so we could not use it for the 3 and 4 yr olds because it was too noisy upstairs.

A Slice of Paradise

As always, we love our slice of paradise on Lake Conroe. The welcome basket with Smores theme and other sweet treats was so creative and we couldn't wait to toast our own. Kelly is the most gracious host and the house, as always, was gorgeous and filled with everything you need for the perfect get away. Beautiful sunsets, tubing, grilling fishing, family time too wonderful to put into words. If i could give this house a 10, I would. Everyone is already excited for our next visit. This is our family tradition for years to come!

Our stay

The yard desperately needed to be mowed. The deck out side was covered in spiders and webs. We cleaned and sprayed the area so we could at least enjoy the patio . The boat slip was not available and there were no tie offs to the dock.However the house was very clean.

Thank you for your feedback. The yard guy comes each week, but did get off schedule with the weather prior. I wish that you would have reached out, I would have called him. I also have in the listing that the slip is unavailable for guest use, so I hope that didn’t come as a surprise. Yes, lake life includes spiders, I can literally clear them the night before a booking, and trust me they’re back the next day. Have to be careful what is sprayed around the lake. Relaxing Lake Get-a-Way

We just got home from our family get-a-way and we loved everything about this home! Our favorite part was the great amount of space. There was plenty of room for everyone. We especially loved how the living room was far away from the bed rooms so we could stay up at night playing games and watching TV while the littles slept, and not wake them up. The lake access was also wonderful! Our kids (and a few grown ups) had fun jumping right off the dock into the water. We also caught several fish right off the dock. The hostess left s’mores supplies, which was such a thoughtful touch and fun for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked for lots of family cooking, and we were thankful to be right down the road from a Kroger and Dollar General if we needed something. We would definitely stay here again!

Spacious and immaculate home with great outdoor seating and lovely lake view

We rented the property as a home away from home for us and our adult kids during my youngest son’s wedding at nearby Iron Manor. The home was very well cared for and had everything we needed to cook meals, even on Thanksgiving Day! The beds and sofas were quite comfortable. We enjoyed having all three of the nicely decorated living areas for our family group. Everyone had a place to hang out without being crowded together! So important with a family get together! The showers had great water pressure and worked well with our large group! We had no problem getting ready for the day in a timely fashion. It was so nice to have the use of a washer and dryer! We had several fun nights playing with the various available games. From the comfy outdoor furniture, everyone watching the boats, jet skis, and lovely sunsets out on the lake. All in all, by day 2, we felt completely “at home”! We have been renting vacation rentals with our family since 1999 and this was one of our favorites! Just a great place to relax and make great memories!

Labor Day getaway

We had a wonderful stay. The home is super spacious. There were 10 of us who stayed, and we had plenty of room for everyone. It’s very clean and very homey. It is directly on the lake with a boat dock for guests to dock their boat and take it out anytime. The outdoor patio is HUGE. So spacious with lots of furniture. Probably the biggest outdoor patio I have yet seen. There are outside fans to cool you off on a hot day. The house is directly on the lake with a stair case to put you right in the water at a very shallow area. If you have a little kids, they can swim all day in that shallow area. Lots of amenities including good internet dishwasher, washer and dryer. Lots of towels! The neighborhood is very safe and well kept. It’s close to grocery stores and restaurants. The property manager is very easy to communicate with, and extremely helpful. We were welcomed with a nice welcome basket that included chocolates, marshmallows and graham crackers for s’mores. The owners went out of their way to make the guests feel welcomed!! We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Great family vacation home on Lake Conroe

My family stayed ay this property for a long weekend. I have a large family of 3 sons and grandchildren. The house accommodated all of us comfortably. We brought our boat to the dock and everyone had a great time on the lake all day. Then evenings were spent on the large comfortable deck playing games and hanging out together. Perfect for family gathering.

We had a really wonderful stay at this lake Conroe rental! Kelly was great and attentive to our needs. The house was large and just perfect for our family of 11. The location on the lake was close to everything we needed. I highly recommend Guadalaharrys for a meal! Walkable from the rental.

Great house on the lake

My family and my brother’s family came for the week of spring break to have fun at the lake with our kids. We had a great time and even though it was a bit cold water, we still jumped in and had a good time playing in the water on the water mat. There were many board games there along with the foosball and shuffleboard tables for the kids to play when inside. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Great trip all around!

This home was purchased as a way to get our family and friends together to create memories and have a fun time on the lake! My kids have grown up as weekenders on the lake in this beautiful home, and now that they are getting older, it’s time for me to share it with other families.

What makes this property unique

The views are incredible - I vividly recall the first time I walked into the house and turned the corner to the most amazing view - I fell in love! It is truly my happy place, and I know it will be yours too!
