The property was clean and great location. Communication with the owner was good. The kitchen could use a couple of things, crockpot and grilled. We enjoyed our stay, very cozy!

Glad you enjoyed your stay. Haven’t had much call for a crockpot, but will consider adding that to the fully-stocked kitchen! The house is equipped with a brand new Weber grill.
We really enjoyed our time spent here. Clean, beautiful & an ideal place to stay, conveniently located between Stratton & Killington ski resorts. Both of which my family & I visited in celebration of our son's birthday & the New Year. 2nd time here, every bit as good as the 1st!

Thank you, Dean. It’s a pleasure hosting you and your family. So glad you enjoyed your second stay here. Hope to see you back soon!
A beautiful log home in an even more beautiful setting. So quiet and peaceful you can hear the stream flowing in the woods just steps away from the house.
The house is extremely clean and well cared for and the host is very attentive to email and text. We had a wonderful stay. Hope to go back in the future.
The house was only about 25 mins to Bromley, where we went to ski, and about 15 minutes to the town of Manchester with restaurants and shops, so the location was perfect. The house was great! Very clean and had everything we needed. A huge bonus was being able to hike the mountain right in the back yard. We will definitely be back!

Perfect stay.
We had 2 families of 4 staying at the property and we were perfectly comfortable for the entire stay. We skied at Okemo which was 40 min away but the drive was easy and seemed quicker. We served 3 family style breakfasts and dinners there, that not only saved us money but added to the enjoyment of the time we spent there. We couldn't of had a better time.

Beautiful home and location
My friends and I rented this cabin for the New Year. It is beautiful and comfortably accommodated 10 of us. There are beautiful hiking trails nearby and we were able to go sledding. I would definitely recommend this house as it is a great place to relax and get away but still a short drive from stores and restaurants.

Thank you, Kathleen and Happy New Year! Glad everyone had a great. So much to see and do up there- especially in the winter- but just as fun to relax by the fire indoors.
We stay in many locations throughout the year and this has been one of the finest throughout the country. There are a million things to look at just from the property and such beauty all around that will leave you breathless. Leave yourself a little time on your way out to ensure the sheets and towels are washed.
The vacation rental was very clean and well appointed. Only a 17 minute ride to Manchester, VT. A lot to do and explore in the area. Nice views of the surrounding mountains from the house. The owner takes great effort to keep the place in the best shape and it shows; excellent condition. His attentiveness is also unparalleled .

Thank you Fernando. You and your family were wonderful guests. Would love to have you back!
The location with a national park and hiking trail in your backyard is one of kind. Rob's house or I should call it a chalet was full of the perfect Vermont decor and ambience, adding to the great experience. Very serene and quiet, too. Manchester, Vermont, about 10 minutes to the south is full of great restaurants, from casual dining to 5 star, shopping and NE charm. The host offered suggested sights, activities and local history which added to the experience and was always available to help/answer questions. We highly recommend a stay here... you will not be disappointed.

Thanks Steve. You guys were great guests. Really glad you got to enjoy some hiking and dining and shopping in town. That’s the best of everything up here. Well done!
We very much enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. The photos do not do this property justice. The view from the deck was breathtaking. The water running from the stream was such a pleasant sound that could be heard from the deck. This home and property are very well maintained which made our stay even more enjoyable. Rob gave great information about the property and suggested a hike for our family. He even informed us that the blueberries on the property were ready for picking, We had a great time picking them and made a wonderful blueberry pie. Thank you, Rob

Magnificient Vacation Rental
We visited VT in Foliage season, infact over the official first peak foliage weekend and I can say that it was a great experience because timing was perfect, we had two more families and lots of kids and a beautiful home to stay in! The house is very well maintained, has a very warm comfortable and homely feel to it. The kitchen is well stocked and the game room has plenty for adults and kids! The bedrooms are in abundance and the biggest plus to the property is the massive gorgeous backyard!! We loved playing games there over the weekend with the weather being supportive!
The owner is very responsive and provided great information to go around the area.
I just want to add that we will definitely consider the same house if we ever visit the Manchester area and would love to do so again in fall!

Thank you, Ruchi.
One of the best features of the house is the second living space downstairs, which allows for privacy for a second family or a place for the kids to stay.
We had a great after Christmas stay at the house. The owner, Rob, was so thoughtful with his communication and above and beyond in terms of making the house welcoming and perfect when we walked in. He had the heat turned up so the house was warm and the house was exactly how it is shown in the pictures except even better - it had been decorated for Christmas with several outdoor wreaths lit up with lights as well as thoughtful Christmas decorations throughout the inside of the house. It made it feel warm and cozy.
The house itself works perfectly and we really enjoyed sitting at the dining room table playing card games or watching movies next to the fire. We even built a snowman in the backyard and did some sledding down the backyard hills.
The trip was a great and we wouldn't hesitate to come back and book again! We highly recommend it.
Wow, what a wonderful stay my family and I had in VT! While it wasn’t the winter wonderland we had hoped for (Mother Nature didn’t cooperate), the cozy home was perfect for our post- Christmas getaway. Not only was the house more beautiful than in pictures, the location couldn’t be beat with sweeping views of the Green Mountains, quick drives to adorable Manchester , Bromley or Stratton mountains for winter sports, as well as less than an hour drive to Killington. The backyard leads to a path to the Lake Trail which runs along an idyllic mountain brook! I can go on and on…. We will definitely be booking again for our next trip to our favorite state to visit. Our 3 children (ages 4-12) have been begging to go back for the few weeks we’ve been home. Rob as a wonderful and attentive host and we are very thankful.
Luxurious stay in (literally!) Green Mountain National Forest
My husband and I look for two things when choosing a VRBO: quiet and comfortable beds. Ten stars on both of these accounts, plus so much more we didn't know. This home is literally in the Green Mountain National Forest with trails accessed from the backyard! There was profound silence in the home - no outside traffic, no noisy appliances, just pure quiet. This was the most well-appointed home we've ever stayed in. There was as much fall color in the home as there was outside! Our favorite nearby attractions: Southern Vermont Art Center, Mad Tom Apple Orchard, the Dorset Quarry Mine and Williams General Store in Dorset. Also not to be missed are the two coffee table books in the home, photo essay books on VT Hill Farms in VT and VT history. Perfect. There are two things we wish we would have known beforehand. 1. No shampoo/bath soap are provided, so be sure to bring your own, and 2. The check-out expectation is that you launder your sheets and towels. This could be a problem if you plan to leave early in the morning. Last, the home is so well-appointed it has somewhat of a museum feel (numerous taxidermied animals, slip-covered furniture, new seasonal towels) we felt somewhat anxious during the stay that we would spill, drop, or somehow scar the place. We chose not to make a fire in the woodstove (even though there are detailed instructions on how to do so) because we would have felt awful if something went wrong and the place filled with smoke.
Our experience was very good in that the house & location were exactly as they were described in other reviews. Very nice place & location / nice & clean too! Rob was very responsive, helpful & pleasant to deal with. We would definitely rent this home again
We had the most amazing experience working with Rob and enjoying this beautiful home. The house is spotless! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to stay in and cook like we did. We woke up each morning and enjoyed watching the birds and making a fire.Rob had sleds so we didn’t need to pack them. My kids loved the animals on the walls and the information Rob left about them. With short notice Rob worked with us to stay a bit longer due to weather. Excellent property and experience. We couldn’t be happier.
Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. The house is very clean and beautiful inside and out. We really enjoyed being able to hike right from the property. The view from the large deck was stunning. The owner was great with communication. We would love to come back again. Thank you, Rob!
Beautiful clean Vermont style home, decorated beautifully for fall. The owner was a great communicator. Property was gorgeous - nice outlook and beautiful big green lawn. Couldn't have hoped for more and can't wait to go back.
We highly recommend this cabin house. It was pristine, functional and beautifully located. The house has an access to trails directly from its backyard. The communication with the owner was easy and super friendly. We will definitely go back there again! I miss that house already! ❤️
We were there for the Vermont Summer Festival and stayed 10 days. Property is lovely. The landscaping and view from the deck are beautiful (not quite A Mountain View in the summer given trees but nevertheless felt wide open and expansive. Everything was as advertised. The interior, furnishings and tableware are classic old New England. We had a wonderful time and owner was super responsive!
My family travelled to Vermont with the intention of skiing and feeling as far away from the town we have been more or less stuck in during the last year. This house allowed us to accomplish both of these goals and feel welcomed, taken-care of and cozy in the meantime. The house is situated close to the great town of Manchester with all its shops and restaurants as well as Bromley mountain where we went skiing. The house is well-appointed and its quality is on display in every room. Just outside the house are great trails for hiking through the forest and even a gentle slope for sleigh-riding. I can't rememeber the last time I saw that many starts fromt he balcony at night! I would return in any season.
