About this property
🍁Crisp Air, Crunchy Leaves and Warm Fires! Beautiful Autumn in Vermont 🍁
30 minutes to Stratton/Bromley, less than an hour to Killington/Okemo!
Less than 5 miles to the Vermont Summer Festival and Horse Show! Surrounded by the Green Mountain National Forest.
Enjoy panoramic views of the Green Mountains, so close you can almost reach out and touch them. A beautiful collection of professional taxidermy including a gorgeous moose mounted over the fireplace, two beautiful black bear mounts and and incredible catamount, once native to Vermont.. all add to this gorgeous Vermont mountain retreat.
Meticulously maintained, spectacular Vermont mountain cabin. Three bedrooms with master suite, loft and open living area. Main floor is handicapped accessible. Hi-speed fiber optic wifi. 50” flat screen tv's on both levels of the house with complete surround sound system and a huge selection of dvd's. Quality bedding, furniture, rugs and appliances.
A spacious wrap-around deck and plenty of large windows offer incredible up-close panoramic mountain views.
An abundance of wildlife.. we have viewed and/or photographed moose, black bear, deer, fox, bobcat, coyote and an incredible assortment of birds (including owls and turkeys) in our yard!
Ideally located 10 minutes from Manchester restaurants and shopping and 5 miles from the Vermont Horse Show and Summer Festival. Easy main road access and perfect cell phone reception. Property borders the Green Mtn Nat'l Forest with direct access to hiking and snowshoeing on the Long Trail and Appalachian Trail from your back door. Stratton and Bromley Mountain, 12 miles. Okemo and Killington, 25 miles. Snowmobiling and cross-country skiing minutes away. Swimming, boating and fishing (and ice fishing!) at Emerald Lake State Park, less than 5 miles.
Property is meticulously maintained with plenty of flowering shrubs, fruit trees, a sprawling lawn and landscaped trail to a small mountain stream out back for cooling off or just sitting and reading a book. Very private, offering complete peace and tranquility.
Our property is not a ski party house, but a peaceful place to retreat and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you with the ones you love most. Perfect for every season.
