Black Bear Ridge, a 3-story log cabin located only 3 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge, offers breathtaking mountain and valley views and great amenities! This magnificent cabin features a premier theater room with an 86-inch 4K Ultra High Definition TV, sound bar, video games, seasonal swimming pool and more!

Black Bear Ridge offers 4 king bedrooms, 1 queen bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa, accommodating up to 12 guests. Each bedroom has a flat-screen Smart HD LCD TV, new mattresses/box springs 01/2024. The cabin also features a spacious living room on the main level with a 55" Ultra High Definition Smart flat-screen TV, Blu-ray player, and Comcast Xfinity cable TV service. There is a cozy, warm electric fireplace in the living room for guests to enjoy. The main level has 2 king size bedrooms and one bathroom.

The cabin's upscale kitchen has a large side-by-side refrigerator with filtered water and an ice maker, a flat-top range and microwave, dishwasher, and everything needed for preparing special family meals. The dining room table seats up to eight people, with seating for three more at the kitchen counter. There is even a large charcoal barbecue grill outside for those fun family cookouts.

The cabin has an extra-large master bedroom on the top level, with a king bed, queen sleeper sofa, a private Jacuzzi, large master bath with double vanity sinks, and a 50" UHD LCD Smart TV and Blu-Ray player. The lower level features a game room with a wet bar, mini-fridge, and a game table that seats four. This level also includes 2 bedrooms (one queen and one king), each with their own bathroom.

The cabin has two decks in the back with ample seating, including rocking chairs and a new big, bubbling hot tub. The cabin also includes a convenient washer/dryer set so guests can take all their clothes home clean or pack fewer clothes to begin with.

Guests of Black Bear Ridge will have full access to the awesome resort pool, which is just a short walk away. This outdoor pool is open seasonally.

Black Bear Ridge Cabin - Hearthside

Overall all we had a good experience. The location of the cabin was convenient to grocery store and activities. The cabin we stayed in was called Black Bear Ridge. It had 5 bedrooms. We had 6 adults and 5 kids under the age of 5. The master bedroom was very large however the other 4 are small but doable. Remember it is a cabin. The back porch was very nice to sit out and enjoy the view on rocking chairs. The hot tub was very clean and having pool access was a plus with small children. Plenty of parking space. If Hearthside wanted to take it up a notch, we would suggest more silverware and coffee cups. There was enough for 6 people. The carpet was worn and some staining. The tub off to the kitchen was slow to drain and the air conditioner downstairs was not cooling as well as it should. It was a bit stuffy. I would also suggest giving the floors a good deep cleaning. The check in process was simple and the reservationists were kind. This was a family vacation and we stayed a week.

Overall the cabin was nice and clean. Mattress in Master and sofas in living room need updating. The cabins are close together and our neighbors partied all night long.

Family Recoup Time

Cabins were very close together but we were on the end so that helped. Cabin was big enough to make you feel separated except when the neighbors were in their hot tub!!! The view was still gorgeous and overall it was a nice place to visit.

Nice Mountain Getaway

Great views of the mountain. Easy access to Pigeon Forge and Gaitlinburg. Great hiking in close proximity to Great Smokey Mountains National Park 20-50min depending on hikes. House has all fully stocked kitchen, great theater room. LOVED the double porches to enjoy the views.
