Working remotely? Work from my home! A distinctive and beautiful two-story 1926 home in Punta Gorda's Historic District, with private heated pool, featuring hardwood floors, roomy living and entertaining spaces, and graciously appointed, with 4 bedrooms, suitable for 2-13 guests!

Especially well-equipped kitchen, with Cuisinart and Calphalon appliances (think blender, food processor, convection microwave, mixer, toaster, coffee maker, waffle maker, kettle, and more!), every gadget you may need to prepare or serve your meals, on bright and cheery Fiestaware crockery, and selecting from a wide variety of drinks glasses. Bakeware to make a pastry chef envious!

Curl up with a book or your iPad on the numerous comfy chairs and sofas in the entry way, library or living room, or on the inviting window seat in the dining room, or on the (outdoor) lanai. Doze on the hammock, soak up the seemingly never-ending Florida sun, or take a refreshing dip in the private pool. Stream your favorite shows or movies, or play backgammon, checkers, or chess on the game table. Sleep well at night on a new memory foam mattress, with cool and comfortable all-cotton bedding, ensuring your exquisite Florida getaway! Roomy enough for family and friends, or cosy enough for two!

Two bedrooms each with queen beds, two additional bedrooms each with twin-over-full bunk beds, plus twin trundle underbed, all with quality mattresses and bedding, for 10 upstairs, with an upstairs family bathroom. Queen sofa bed downstairs in living room, plus twin sofa bed in the library, where there's a convenient downstairs bathroom (perfect for someone who finds climbing stairs a difficulty). Additional sofas provide even more sleeping spaces in a pinch.

This was my first VRBO I have ever rented The house was very clean and comfortable, Great kitchen gadgets , plenty of towels Comfy beds , Very spacious ,many restaurants close by, Fishermans village and parks all within walking distance. We were 5 adult family members and had plenty of room .

Historic Charmer

Lovely historical home away from home with modern conveniences. Well stocked & clean. This home is walking distance through the cobblestone streets of the historic district, downtown restaurants and shops, parks and the waterfront . My only complaint was with the number in our party - 10 - it was pretty crowded and only 2 bathrooms as older homes like this are not as open as newer homes. I would rent this home again though as it is a charming home and the owner is always available if something is needed.

Great home, great location

We have just wrapped up a month’s vacation in this great home. Everything you need for a long stay is provided, including an abundance of linens and a well-equipped kitchen. There is plenty of space for the entire family to spread out. We especially enjoyed the enclosed front porch and back lanai, which are perfect for reading, playing games, or entertaining. The location is ideal for those who love to walk. Restaurants are less than a half-mile away, and the bonus is the newest ice cream shop, Gigi’s, which is just down the street! Gilchrist Park is a half-block away to ride a bike, play pickleball or tennis, listen to the “guitar army", walk to Fisherman’s Village, or watch the sunset. The owner, Nancy, was readily available to answer questions and made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.

Comfortable home

We enjoyed staying in this home very much. The owner is a very nice person and wonderful to work with. The home is large but also very cozy and comfortable. The main level shower is very nice and does give a feeling of being at a spa. The four bedrooms are roomy and very pretty with Florida colors. The screened porch is large with comfortable furniture and a very nice pool next to it. The kitchen is well equipped with almost any appliance you could ever need. The only complaint I had was the home is located on a very busy street so there was more noise than we expected but it would not stop us from returning to this lovely home.

Great Spring Break Getaway

We had a great stay at this home! We had a group of 9. 2 families with kiddos ranging 8-12 years old. The house was very clean with all the bedding and space that we needed. The outdoor areas (pool, lanai and backyard) were all great for lounging and cooling off during the day. The kids bedrooms accommodated the 5 kids nicely, and we didn’t even end up needing the trundle beds underneath the bunks. We loved how close we were to downtown Punta Gorda and the river walk and spent a lot of time walking as well. Highly recommend.

The Perfect Getaway

We had a great time staying at your house in Punta Gorda. House is super clean, and had every kitchen utensil/tool you could think of. Made cooking at the house really easy. Lanai was great for getting out of the hot sun, but still wanting to be outside. Heated pool was really great as well. Location of house is perfect for Punta Gorda. Close to restaurants/bars, grocery store, coffee etc. We had a great time. Thanks for everything.

Absolutely perfect.

My family and I were in the house for two weeks over Christmas. My husband and four boys had the best Christmas at this house. This house is fantastic. It is walking distance to everything. The house is very spacious and fully stocked with everything you need. It has a pool which is very nice. Nancy is a absolute wonderful woman and thought of everything to make the stay so enjoyable. We are going back for another 10 days in February. Can’t wait 😄

Spring Getaway

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! We had eleven guests stay at this lovely home. It never felt crowded, and we were all very comfortable. The bedrooms are decorated well with fun Florida colors. The beds are all new and were comfortable for all of the guests. The closet space and dressers provided everyone the space they needed. All of the home’s furniture is high quality, and tastefully done. We really enjoyed all that the kitchen had to offer. It had everything we needed and more. The shower in the downstairs bathroom is amazing and makes you feel like you are at a spa. The outdoor area has plenty of room for everyone to relax. The pool was refreshing and kept everyone cool on our hot days here. We had our stay during the beginning of the Coronavirus outbreak. We were very thankful to have everything we could need at this home do we were still able to enjoy ourselves amidst this crazy time. The owner, Nancy, was excellent to work with and checked in to make sure we were doing fine. I would highly recommend this property, and would love to return.
