Perfect girls getaway!

The listing was exactly as it showed on-line and both the listing and guest book had all the information we needed. Troy even provided coffee pods for the Keurig and laundry pods so we could wash the beach towels. The pool was very clean and relaxing and it was fun to sit on the dock and watch the fish jump. We spent a lot of time at Fisherman's Village dining, shopping and enjoying the sunset entertainment. The only downside is that there is not a true beach within about 45 minutes from the house but Venice beach was worth the drive. Troy was a great conmunicator and we had no major issues during our stay.

Quiet and Charming

Property was very nice and offered everything we needed. The location is very safe and really quiet - seems to be an area of older more retirement age persons. Communication with the owner was fantastic and we had no issues with the property. Heated pool at no extra charge was a bonus on a few chilly days. Great location to walk down to Fisherman’s Village with nice shops and fabulous food options. Great stay!

Fun in the sun!

This is a great “stay put” vacation spot, perfect for families content to swim and play in the sun. Walking distance to nice restaurants, shopping, and ice cream. Not super close to a beach or other tourist activities, but Ft. Myers beach is only about a 45 minute drive. The house was comfortable for 3 adults and 2 kids. Troy was very easy to communicate with and made sure our stay was comfortable. My kids enjoyed the pool table and games as well!

Home away from home

This is the 3rd yr we’ve stayed at this home prior to Christmas. It now feels like our 2nd home. It’s turn key and all you need for the fun of a vacation but the peace of home too. Fishing at your fingertips, close to shopping, sunrise and sunset views from the canal dock. The owner has been awesome. Seeya again!

The house was very nice location was great. The only issue was check out day. We had a later flight so with check out being at 11 we were going to stay until then but pool and concrete repair started at 730 am so we left by 830 once we got packed. That was the only disappointing thing.

As described - very nice home

The home is exactly as listed. We stayed 2wks in Aug with no issues. Internet worked well (important for 2 teenage boys) & we also utilized the boat lift with a rental. The area is quite quiet & found the majority of nearby homes (incl. along the canal) vacant. The pool was comfortable & felt private. I can easily see why many come to the area for a relaxing trip. Any needed supplies were a short drive away.

Lots to Do!!

Beautiful home with plenty of things to do for the family. Loved the pool and use of bikes and kayaks. Troy responded to our texts even late at night on our arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

Family visit

Overall the house was fine for our family. The property owner was easy to communicate with and did try to remedy what he could fix. It is close to Fisherman's Village and a 30 min drive to beaches. My kids liked the private pool and playing air hockey on rainy days. There were some downfalls to this home. The pool surface was crumbling, kitchen pots and pans had Teflon surface scratches, mold was in the washer door, maggots were in the trash after we had only been there for 2 days and had not thrown any food away. There was road construction in front of the house that had been going on for months and we were not notified about until we got there. Unfortunately we were woke up by 7am every day. Overall it was fine for our family but the home could use some TLC and attention to details.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The kayaks, bikes, and fishing equipment were a plus. The house is in a great location. Close to restaurants and shopping. Close to walking paths along the water. It's just a short drive to the beach (40 minutes) Troy was great and stayed in communication with us. We would definitely stay here again.

Great house!

Property exactly as advertised! Super easy process with the owners. We would definitely stay again. The house is not handicap accessible so a bit challenging for one of us getting in and out. Very positive experience with all options included with the house.

Wonderful Getaway

Our 6 day stay at this house was wonderful. We have stayed in several VRBO homes over the years and this was by far one of the best homes. Very clean, everything stated in the description was at the home AND in wonderful condition. Troy responded promptly to all our questions and concerns. No one in my family (husband or 2 teenage daughters) wanted to leave. We would not hesitate to book this property again.

Quality vacation home

My husband and i stayed here for two weeks in March. House is beautiful with quality furnishings and accessories. The back area with the pool lanai and canal are beautful allowing us to launch our kayaks. The bikes came in handy when our company wanted to bike into town. The location is so close to town and the harbor allowing us to walk or bike wherever we went. Would highly recommend. Only caution is house is on a busy road so one might be concerned with small children.

Great Stay

Beautiful Home! Great location and walking distance to Fisherman's Village. The pool overlooks the canal and we enjoyed sitting outside and watching sunsets. Everything you need is available. Troy was great to communicate with. Would not hesitate to visit this property again. Highly recommend!

First long term family vacation

We spent 8 nights at this beautiful Vrbo home, it was so comfortable and inviting. We had our adult children and grandkids with us so it was great to have our own space and accommodations of home. My husband usually does not sleep in new places but he slept very well. The view being on the canal was beautiful. We will definitely stay there again next time we go to Florida!! Thank you so much!

Perfect Punta Gorda Location & Accommodations

The home is just a short walk to fisherman's village and the waterfront park which was perfect for my family. We did not have to jump back in the car for another ride. We could enjoy the weather and take a stroll. Location could not be more ideal. The backyard layout and amenities are perfectly appointed. The interior layout was also fabulous. Waterviews from every angle! Sunrise and sunset views were so magical. The property is exceptionally clean and smelled fresh! The bedding and pillows had a hotel quality that I enjoyed as well. The little extras (that are probably not too little) such as the pool table, cards, games, bikes, fishing rods, kayaks etc made this stay worth every penny. Do not hesitate to book!

Originally from South Florida. We love the Punta Gorda area with easy flight access from anywhere in the Midwest or East Coast. Love the outdoors and many of the family friendly activities. Punta Gorda has a small town feel that provides amazing weather year round.

Why they chose this property

Area is surrounded by water from small salt water canals to large Harbor and Gulf. Great for boating, sailing, fishing and exploring the many islands to include Boca Grande, Cabbage Key, Cayo Costa, Sanibel, and many others. Beaches include Boca Grande, Englewood, Manasota Key and Venice Beach of which all have fantastic shells to include prehistoric shark teeth.
Punta Gorda airport is 10 minutes away with over 40 destinations on Allegiant. Ft. Myers airport 35 minutes and Tampa 1.5 hours.
