Had an amazing stay at this home in February 2025. Everything in this home was designed for ease and comfort. The home and pool enclosure were spotlessly clean. The neighborhood was quiet. The beds were very comfortable. While I did not really use the kitchen, I was pretty amazed at how well it was equipped with things including toaster, crockpot, blender and waffle iron. Every kitchen gadget you would ever need was there for cooking. While it was just my husband and I for this trip, I would definitely recommend this for a family looking to get away. There were games and pool toys galore for the family to enjoy. My husband and I would definitely love to stay here again.

A perfect home away from home….

We had a wonderful family week at this rental. The house is beautiful, clean and close to everything we wanted to do. The pool overlooking the canal is a perfect place to relax! The only thing that could have made our stay better was warmer temperatures! We highly recommend this beautiful home and hope to stay again in the future.

Wonderful property, excellent owners! The house is very clean and well stocked. Kitchen utensils, cookware, and dishes are plentiful. The lanai with large pool is southern facing so sunshine is abundant. The waterway provides some Florida wildlife viewing. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to shopping and restaurants.We’ve been “snowbirding” in Port Charlotte for several years and this was our best experience by far!

This is a nicely updated old Florida home with a beautiful pool overlooking the canal. Very comfortable and supplied with everything we needed. The neighborhood is still recovering from Hurricane Ian but it is close to shopping, restaurants and movies.

Wasn’t ready when we arrived. Broken microwave vent fell and hit me in the head I got charged for it. They just painted something in the place the day we arrived have a headache for 3 days. Accused of having a dog, noises neighbor spy’s saw a family friend that happens to live close stopped by while walking her dog. Floor in main bedroom was full of sand. The pool walks were greenish and the pool maintaince person did not even know if is was a salt water filter. The owners had a car parked limiting out parking spaces, a thorny bush was not trimmed and I got cut up after front door lock would not open later found out cheap batteries in it. Would not recommend especially when being spied on.

Lovely home and location

Very clean, central location for day trips, shopping, etc. Linda and John were extremely accommodating and accessible. We had a few small problems and they were handled immediately. I would suggest more shade options around the pool would be a good addition. I have struggled with cancer in the past and shade is a definite necessity for me.

Quiet neighborhood with great pool

Renting the property was seamless and all instructions were received in advance. The neighborhood was very quiet, but some properties were damaged from the hurricane. Some aspects of our rental were outdated, but that really didn't concern us. Our stay was pretty much what we envisioned, and we really enjoyed the spacious pool. In addition, the beds were super comfy, and the kitchen wass well stocked in all aspects.

Great house for enjoying the Pt Char area

We rented this home for about seven weeks. It’s very conveniently located to grocery stores and restaurants. The owners, Linda and John were quick to respond to our questions. House was very clean and well stocked. We did buy a bathroom plunger to add to the home’s ambiance. It is staying behind. Would recommend!

Great Quiet Family Getaway

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teens, 1 child) stayed at this property for 5 nights and loved our time there. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space yet we could be together when we wanted to. The screened in pool and pool deck were amazing, we spent hours and hours out there. I love that its right on the waterway. The neighborhood is very quiet, but the home is close enough to shopping and dining at Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda as well as other local restaurants and grocery stores. The beach park is right down the road and while there isn't much beach, there's a nice pier to walk out on and there's also paddleboarding/canoing/sailing available as well. We definitely would stay here again, the owners were very responsive when we messaged them with questions prior to and during our stay.

Many positives with this property. First off, working with John was gratifying in that all of our inquiries were answered promptly and most satisfactorily. The pool was heated for those slightly chilly mornings and was large enough for mini laps to be done. The home was large enough to have two families function easily. The grill worked great...quick start, rapidly got up to heat level and Was large enough for a cook out party. Getting to any desired location was easy since home was close to Tamiami Trail and Interstate 75. Great value....return trip box is definitely checked.

Perfect pool house

House was very clean and well stocked. Listing was accurate and pictures on listing were true to actual condition. Check-in was seamless. We did have a very minor issue with the hot water in the master shower. We texted the owner and received a response almost immediately even though it was the Saturday of a holiday weekend. Problem was solved in less than 30 minutes time. The pool was amazing and there were no red eyes from chlorine since the water is salt water. We would stay here or recommend to anyone needing a get away in the Charlotte Harbor area.

Best equipped home with a lovely pool in a nice quiet neighborhood only min away from everything.

This is by far the best equipped house we have ever rented through VRBO! The kitchen literally had everything you needed, and in good quality and condition. The home was clean and neat with a nice size outdoor heated pool in a quiet neighborhood in short distance from stores and restaurants. Furnitures incl bedrooms very nice and comfy. Plenty of towels for your use both for pool and bathrooms. Punta Gorda was only 10 min away where you could enjoy the sunset over the Gulf while enjoying a drink from the Tiki bar. Venice and Englewood beach only 30 min drive away, and if you like a boat tour you found that in Boca Harbor 45 min away. We had a question regarding the pool temp, and the hostess responded right away and helped us out. We can whole hearted recommend this rental Home.

Wonderful property for our stay!!

This was the perfect property for us to have a long weekend with my daughter and grandson. My husband and I stayed a few extra days and absolutely love the fact that we could pull our boat right up to the seawall. Also loved having a pool to cool down in after a ride on the boat! This is the second time we booked this home. The first was for a couples vacation & the second for family vacation. It’s spacious, comfortable & has everything you could possibly need. Pool toys, beach chairs, coolers, all kitchen wants/needs. We will continue to stay at this property when visiting Punta Gorda/Siesta Key. Go to Siesta for beaches, go to Englewood for sharks teeth (100x more than Venice) Merger’s for incredible lattes, the deck is perfect for fishing & morning Yoga. The renters are also responsive & incredibly kind!

We stayed Thursday-Monday morning. The location is pretty good. Engelwood Beach is about 15mins away and it was totally worth the drive. I had 2 teenagers with me and they used the pool ALL the TIME! It was so nice to have! We would stay here again!

Amazing Vacation Home

We just finished a 6 night stay and we're so impressed with this house. It had enough room for our family of 5. The pool was amazing and our kids took advantage of it whenever we were not at the beach. The canal view was nice too. Saw some flying fish! The house had everything we needed. Just need to pack clothes, toothbrushes and personal items plus food! Location was great. Close to lots of restaurants and beaches were about 30-45 minute drive. I highly recommend Luigis as well as the Village Brewhouse in Punta Gorda. We would totally stay here again!

That’s satisfying to us and inspires us make every improvement add to our guests experiences.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is quiet and the traffic level is low. Our neighbors are super friendly and getting to dining and beaches is easy slipping out of the neighborhood on Edgewater to avoid the traffic on the main roads.

What makes this property unique

- The home is oversized, every room is pretty spacious.
- The heated (88 degrees) pool rivals the size of some of the area hotel pools.
- The renovations and improvements have been done right and with an eye towards quality, not just a coat of paint and Goodwill furnishings.
- After hundreds of bookings we have learned that issues will arise, we have learned how to solve the problems quickly and minimize any impacts on a guests stay.
