Two independent 18th-century houses, located 50 to 70 meters apart, allow families, friends, or groups to gather together while preserving everyone’s privacy.

La Grange, a large hall adjoining the Christal cottage, can accommodate 35 to 40 guests during the mild season.

Wooden outdoor swimming pool open from mid-June to late August.

In winter, the living room of the Cherlieu cottage becomes a warm, heated dining room for up to 16 guests.

Très bonnes vacances

Nous sommes venus avec mon groupe d'ami afin de célébrer les 30 ans de certains d'entre nous. Les gîtes étaient super grands et charmants avec une grande grange pour les soirées. Les hôtes sont super sympas, il n'y avait aucun problème pour faire la fête.

Très chouette gîte en pleine nature

Le gîte est situé au calme, en pleine nature, au cœur des ruines d’une ancienne abbaye. C’est très calme et paisible et on peut se balader en forêt directement depuis le gîte. Les hôtes, Christine et Alain, sont aux petits soins, charmants, accueillants et très disponibles en cas de besoin. Ils donnent de bons conseils. Il n’y a pas de réseau mais la connexion wifi est très bonne. Le gîte dispose de tout le nécessaire niveau mobilier et il y a même des jeux pour enfants. Nous n’avons manqué de rien ! Le jardin avec le barbecue est top. Nous n’avons pas beaucoup utilisé la grange mais c’est très pratique de disposer d’un bel endroit comme celui là. La piscine était à bonne température et idéale niveau sécurité pour les enfants car en hauteur.

Si vous cherchez un endroit au calme, ne cherchez plus, vous avez trouvé votre bonheur. Après quelques kilomètres dans la forêt, vous arrivez sur le site majestueux de Cherlieu. Le gîte comprend 2 logements : un premier logement avec une grande cuisine, un espace barbecue, une grande table extérieure et attenant à une grange où vous pourrez festoyer en toute tranquilité. Le second logement situé, à 100m du 1er et mitoyen du logement des propriétaires, permettra au couche-tôt de se mettre au calme. Hormis les propriétaires, vous serez seuls dans le hameau, vous pouvez donc faire du bruit à n'importe quelle heure. Les logements sont bien très propres et sont équipés pour cuisiner en grande quantité. Les propriétaires sont très agréables, de bons conseils pour les ballades et pas du tout intrusif, malgré la proximité de leur habitation. Nous étions 16 motards et avons un peu fait de bruit, le soir ... Bref, vous l'aurez compris nous avons passé un très bon séjour et nous ne pouvons que recommander ce magnifique endroit.

Het was een fantastische locatie voor families

Er is heel veel ruimte buiten met een groot hoog zwembad. Genoeg tafels en stoelen. De 2 huizen zijn geschikt voor 17 personen wij waren met 15 personen waarvan 7 kinderen. Op 5 km afstand zijn de Lidl etc te bereiken. Mooie omgeving we voelden ons allemaal heel erg thuis en gingen met pijn in ons hart weg.geen tv geen mobiel en geen tv de kinderen hadden het te druk. De gastvrouw/heer zijn ontzettend lief en attent. De slaapkamers zijn groot de douche en badkamers basic maar heel efficiënt en schoon. Ik kan iedereen die een keer met veel personen met vakantie wil de 2 huizen aanraden. Volop servies potten en pannen. Er is ook een grote schuur waar een aantal kinderen aan het knutselen waren. Er is genoeg te doen in de buurt.

Endroit idéal pour ceux qui ne cherchent pas les grandes foules. Piscine fort appréciée par les enfants pendant les périodes de chaleur. Larges espaces où les enfants peuvent se défouler en toute sécurité. Soirées festives au coeur de la nature. Une semaine de vacances qui recharge les batteries de tout le monde. Calme, nature, ciel étoilé...

Très bonne semaine passée à occuper les deux gîtes du hameau de Cherlieu avec un groupe d'une quinzaine de personnes (12 adultes et 4 enfants en bas âge). Les deux gîtes sont bien équipés et offrent une expérience assez rare puisque les corps de bâtiment faisaient partie des dépendances de l'abbaye adjacente (malheureusement en ruine). Le soir, l'absence totale de pollution visuelle permet d'observer les étoiles avec une facilité rare, en août les étoiles filantes se succèdent à un rythme incroyable ! Accueil attentionné et très sympathique.

Wir waren mit insgesamt 14 Personen über Silvester angereist. Wir verbrachten 4 sehr schöne Tage bei Christine und Alain. Vor Ort gab es alles was man benötigte und sogar noch mehr. Raqulette, Waffeleisen, verschiedene Kaffeemaschine usw. Der Abschluss endete meist im gemütlichen Kaminzimmer. Wir bedanken uns nochmal herzlichst bei den lieben Vermieter für die schöne Zeit.

Ein wunderbarer Ort

Unser Aufenthalt im "Gites de Cherlieu" war wunderbar. Es ist ein friedlicher und magischer Ort, hier sind Ruhe und Stille pur erlebbar. Unser Wohlbefinden wurde noch verstärkt durch die Qualität der beiden Häuser mit der guten Austattung, dem schönen weitläufigen Garten, dem Blick auf die Klosterruine und der unberührten Natur. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber Christine und Alain, die bestens für uns gesorgt haben.
