Located just one mile from the Parkway in the heart of Pigeon Forge, countless attractions, dinner theaters, Dollywood, The Island, and the Smoky Mountain National Park are just minutes away and yet this cabin's beautiful decks are peaceful.
The outdoor spaces for this lodge really sets it apart. Usually to have such a wonderful location you have to sacrifice privacy and outdoor amenities but not so with Grand Mountain Lodge. The front porch of the lodge overlooks a small pond with a beautiful cascading stone waterfall feature. A bridge crosses over the pond so you can take a stroll and enjoy the water up close.
To the side of the property is a gas fire pit surrounded by rocker Adirondack chairs…. What a great place to relax and catch up after a fun filled day. Beyond the fire pit is a flat side yard perfect for throwing a football, playing whiffle ball, croquet or Bocce ball. Old fashioned fun can create wonderful memories.
The back deck contains a huge 25 ft screened in porch with wrap around couches, 6 person round dining table, and beautiful stacked stone gas fireplace with a TV over it. Surrounded by trees this is a wonderful place to watch the sunset as you spend time with family and friends. Or perhaps to enjoy drinking coffee in the morning while listening to and watching the birds jump from branch to branch. Also on this deck is a covered dining area with a table that seats 12 and a huge gas grill. What a great place to gather and enjoy one another.
On the deck below is a beautiful 17 foot swim spa pool with many features. Surrounded by waterfalls and LED lighting this pool is simply stunning. You can be the early bird and enjoy doing your laps against the current before the day begins or take the kids for a group swim and enjoy the lazy river setting, water fountains, and LED light show. Or ….you might want to just relax with friends. It really offers something for everyone - year round. And, of course, you can lock it so the little ones can't get in without you. We all want your kids safe and enjoying the pool with parents to supervise. This deck also offers lounge chairs, a dining table, and a beautiful hot tub. Hanging LED lights make for a fun and relaxing atmosphere. This is a great place to spend time with friends and family.
Separated by two comfy tables with seating for your enjoyment the 8x8 super size, luxurious hot tub that seats a total of 8 comfortably is located right next to the pool on the same deck. Wonderful relaxation for 8 of you at one time in the hot tub, with friends seated nearby at the tables and some of the group in the swim spa. This is a great deck area for lots and lots of outdoor water fun and relaxation. You will love it.
You will enter this gorgeous cabin through the large rustic front door into the open foyer with cathedral ceilings. Then on into the great room which really makes this lodge grand! A 24 foot high wall of windows and a stacked stone gas fireplace from floor to ceiling make this room truly breathtaking. Gorgeous leather couches with 6 comfy recliners make this room as comfortable as it is beautiful. With a huge 65 inch flat screen TV over the fireplace you are ready to watch the big game or enjoy a show together.
The open layout with the kitchen and dining room makes this a fantastic space for family or group gatherings. The dining room has a custom built giant table with tree stumps for legs and enough seating for 14 with 4 additional seats at the bar. Additional seating for 18 more outside on the deck.
The granite kitchen features a brand new in August 2021 48" Wolf dual fuel range with 6 gas burners and an infrared charbroiler and two convection ovens. It's gorgeous and will be a pleasure to cook on. There is also a giant subzero refrigerator, a Bosch dishwasher with an additional refrigerator and stand up freezer in the large pantry. Anyone in your group enjoy cooking? They will absolutely fall in love and spend their time preparing fabulous meals for all of you.
Walk down the hall and out to the huge game room with enough fun to keep a crowd busy for hours. Play a game of pool on the full size slate pool table, ping pong on the tournament table, foosball, or basketball in the hoops arcade. Race a friend on the linked driver arcades with huge HD flat screens, force feedback steering, and surround sound. Wow! The Big Buck Hunter HD is a family favorite with its massive 55 inch screen and incredible graphics. There is also a two player multicade with a giant flat screen monitor for playing all the classics like Pac-man and Galactica.
This beautiful lodge has 8 large bedrooms. Three are located on the main floor and 5 are family suites with beds for both adults and children. The bedrooms all have large, smart, streaming, flat screen TVs with cable, beautiful handcrafted log furniture, comfortable bedding, and blackout curtains to allow you to sleep in as long as you like. On the main floor: the first bedroom has a queen bed and a twin over queen bunk. The next bedroom is a gorgeous master suite with a king bed and a 65 inch tv over a stacked stone gas fireplace. In the bathroom are soaring ceilings with beautiful beams. There is a travertine shower with double shower heads and a separate soaker tub. It’s incredible! Luxury! Vacation! Relaxation! Enjoy! The third bedroom has a beautiful king log bed, stacked stone gas fireplace, and a wall of windows for enjoying the beautiful view. Shares a hall bathroom with the queen bedroom on the main floor.
Up the stairs from the main floor are two large master suites. Both have balconies, cathedral ceilings with large open beams, and hand crafted log king beds and log daybeds with trundles for additional sleeping. The bedroom at the end of the hall has windows facing a mountain view. Wow!
Take a back staircase to another grand master bedroom suite with multiple windows facing the mountain view and a gorgeous artisan log king bed. This huge room also has 3 log daybeds with trundles for an additional 6 beds. That’s right this enormous room sleeps 8. Adjoining the bedroom is a kid’s playroom with hours of fun to be had by the younger members of your party. The bathroom for this master suite has a large tiled shower with two shower heads and a beautiful granite counter and vanity. Great area for a family and private from the rest of the cabin.
Downstairs … the 8th bedroom is yet another family suite. Here you will find a king log bed and a log queen over queen bunk bed allowing this bedroom to sleep 6. The room has two French doors opening onto the back patio. A perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. The bathroom has a large tile shower with two shower heads and a third rain shower head. It is also a steam shower.
Lots of space on the lower level including a wet bar area with a beverage refrigerator, sink, coffeemaker and popcorn machine. Perfectly located close to the huge theater room that is also on this floor. The theater room has an over 11 foot screen, HD projector, 7.1 Dolby surround sound and 19 reclining leather seats. This is an experience not soon to be forgotten. What a great place to share a movie with your whole group.
For all of you active vacationers, we have also provided a super nice exercise room. We have a stairmaster and stationary bike - both facing a streaming flat screen TV. There is also a pull up bar for upper body work outs. This is perfect for those who like to keep up with a work out routine no matter the location. Yes! you’re on vacation so you can do it or not do it. Securely locked to keep the younger ones safe unless you allow them entry.
Two beautiful outdoor pools conveniently located inside the resort for your enjoyment. One of them is within walking distance to your Getaway Cabin. Outdoor tables and chairs and restroom facilities make them a wonderful place to while away the afternoon hours if you decide not to go to town for the day. Pools are seasonal - open Memorial Day through Labor Day each year.
