Property was just as described.
Hosts were responsive and easy to communicate with.
They supplied us with many recommendations for outdoor activities and day trips along with some quick instruction regarding the wood stove.
The property was fantastic.
Particularly enjoyed being a few hundred yards from Calais trail.
Home was heated well by wood stove. Enough to have turned off the baseboard electric heaters.
Have stayed at other properties in the summer and this was our first winter stay.
The view from the house was beautiful and we will likely come back to enjoy the waterfront location again this summer.
We have fallen in love with this community and hope to one day find a property to call our own.
Until then, happy to spend our vacations at this wonderful property.
Toni was a wonderful host. There’s everything and more in the cabin including kitchen supplies, kayak, fireplace, firewood, fishing rod. It’s quiet and clean and locates in the center of Vermont. I would highly recommend the place when visiting Vermont
Lovely, cozy rustic cabin overlooking beautiful Curtis Pond. Amazing views and a private dock with kyaks for exploring the lake. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return.
Only minuses are no closet space and no dish washer. But overall for us, this was minor compared to how wonderful our experince was. Also, Tom and Toni were great and available to help.
The house was very comfortable and had all the necessary items for our stay. We cooked dinner in the kitchen a few nights without any issues. It is out in the woods with a spectacular view of the lake. Short drive to Montpellier which is a charming town. We even took a longer drive to Stowe to eat at restaurants there. It was a wonderful, chill vacation spot
We loved staying at this home! It is recently refinished, with a great fire stove and ample room for 4 adults. The house in tucked away on a hill over looking a beautiful, large pond. We had the pleasure of watching sun and full moon rise over the pond during Autumn, and we will never forget it! The kayaks and fire pit were great fun too. The home is centrally located in Vermont with easy access to highways and routes to anywhere you’d want to go during the year. We’d absolutely love to return some day. Thank you!
