Sands of Kahana 355 does not have A/C, is a 2-bedroom. 2-bathroom condo that is located on the 5th floor and offers panoramic ocean views from your private lanai and ceiling fans throughout. This property has elevators for easy access. Unit 355 can accommodate up to 6 guests, but we can accommodate up to 8 guests with an additional $25 for each guest per day. The master bedroom has a California king-size bed, flat-screen TV with cable, and brilliant ocean views that open to the lanai. The en suite remodeled bathroom features dual sinks and tile shower. The guest bedroom offers two queen-size beds and a flat-screen TV. The guest bathroom also features dual sinks and a tile shower. In the living room, you will find ample seating and a queen-size sleeper sofa for additional guests, a large flat-screen TV with cable, and a desk area. Enjoy the convenience of having a washer and dryer inside your condo.

This beautifully remodeled and spacious floor plan features a tastefully remodeled interior and new furnishings. Additionally, this condo offers a fully equipped and spacious remodeled kitchen, perfect for preparing meals in-house to enjoy on your private oceanfront lanai. This beautiful kitchen features custom cabinets and lighting, full-size stainless-steel appliances, and plenty of granite counter space.

*RESORT FEE: $75 fee is due to the resort upon check-in.

The Sands of Kahana resort is located on 6.79 acres of lush grounds between Kaanapali and Kapalua, and offers amenities such as; koi ponds, separate adult and children's pool, hydro spa, on-site bar and restaurant, tennis courts, putting greens, fitness gym, a basketball court, and BBQ areas. This condo complex is small so it is quiet and peaceful. The views are stunning as is the landscaping. It’s close to everything. If I get the chance to go to Kauai again, I will stay there.

Our stay at Kahana was an amazing experience! We enjoyed the accommodations - very comfortable, spacious and meticulously cleaned condo! We used a small igloo and beach chairs daily. Beautiful views and everything we needed. Would definitely rebook this condo! Thank you!!

Awesome condo, awesome view

Condo was awesome, clean, amazing balcony and view from inside as well including from the kitchen. We listened to the waves every night and woke up to them every morning. Nice bathrooms, showers, and updated kitchen which was well stocked. Furnishings were well done and the beds amd linens super comfortable. We loved staying here!!

There is nothing that this place lacked in comfort. Very thoughtfully supplied and the view was amazing. I'm giving 5 stars because there was everything we needed from pool floats to extra towels as as well as amply stocked kitchen necessities. The Extra FEES however were pretty steep.

Amazing place

We really enjoyed our stay here at Sands of Kahana. The property was clean and nicely furnished. We loved the extra boogie boards and chairs that were in the condo for us to use. We were worried about there being no AC, but we really didn't need it at all. The condo remained cool from the breeze coming off the ocean. Great place for families to stay. Can't beat the beautiful lanai to hear the ocean waves!

Amazing! The whole family of 6 enjoyed our stay very much. The view is beautiful, towels are plush, and starter amenities were greatly appreciated. The master bedroom bed is in the soft side, but I’m really looking for problems there. Beautiful as Maui is, we almost didn’t want to leave this condo!

Absolutely gorgeous property.

Loved it. The beach chairs could use an upgrade and the icemaker didn't work, but when you have to dig that deep to find a flaw you know it's a great unit. The upgrades are evident everywhere. Absolutely beautiful.

I loved every day there at the Sands of Kahana. It was exactly what I was hoping for. The only problem I had was that I am disabled and the last three days there the elevator wasn't working so that was kind of tough and then also no way to get my baggage down, luckily my son came and was able to help

Perfect!

This condo was even better in person than the photos. It was perfect for family and very kid friendly. Plenty of towels and beach supplies. Clean/large kitchen and condo in general. Comfortable beds. Absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. There’s nothing like drinking coffee every morning on the balcony while watching and listening to the waves right below! Book this place and you won’t regret. Will be back for sure.

Great location and condo

Generally very. Good but a/c is needed. Also ice maker was broken and numerous repair visits didn’t fix it. Ice should have been supplied & delivered but wasn’t A central ice machine should be available to avoid driving to a store every day or two. Perhaps a small but important annoyance for such a nice condo.

Nice property with qualifiers.

A nice condo with beautiful view and amenities. Enjoyed our stay except- Window screen, television remote and dishwasher were not working properly when we arrived. Everything but window screen was repaired. Be aware that at the end we were told there is $100 fee for each plastic key not turned in. Never told at check in. We scrambled to find the 4 keys which did.not make for enjoyable exit.

Great Location - Property Not as Good

We enjoyed the location and the spectacular views from the living area and balcony! Great whale watching. However, there were several items that were definitely problematic. The master bath has a strong mildew smell, and the water in the showers doesn't get hot; only lukewarm. The master shower hot water control kept falling off. The garbage disposal didn't work and the sink drain ran slow. The ice maker didn't work. Disappointed in lack of A/C as this unit is loud with all the windows open. Since there are no screens in the main windows, we had birds come inside and make a mess in the unit. Worst of all, the cockroaches in the kitchen are out of control (We did not have this issue in either of our two Hawaii accommodations). The management company continually sent emails and texts asking us to leave a 5-star review and to contact them with any areas that were not 5-star. When I replied with these issues noted, they did not respond and still have not to date. I'll go back to Maui and to Kahana, but definitinely stay elsewhere.

Nothing but good things to say about the place. The beach is literally steps from the building. Although not as well known as the nearby Kaanapali beach, this one is much better for swimming. Pretty good snorkeling as well, especially from the middle of the beach and to the right. I saw several sea turtles and several groups of 20+ fish without needing to go out very far. Nice pool and kids pool on the property, which was great getting the 3 year old used to the water and willing to go into the ocean. Plenty of grills on the property if you want to cook out some days, there are enough that you never have to wait around. They are also cleaned by the staff multiple times a day so they are usually spotless when you light them up. Pro-tip: the ones that look nicer do not cook very hot so opt for the ones that look more worn in. They are more worn in for a reason. The place was exactly as described in the listing. Great views, nice balcony with plenty of room, easy to leave the patio door open at night and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. I booked the place a while back and was a bit concerned with some of the more recent reviews mentioning cockroaches and such, but if they were there before, they are definitely not there anymore. We had zero issues. The ocean breeze does a more than serviceable job keeping the place cool, so not having AC was no issue for us at all. We didn’t use the fans either, but those can certainly help boost ventilation if needed. Just keep the patio doors open and there is a pretty steady fresh air current throughout the place. Again, great overall stay for my wife and I, plus two small kids and the in laws. Plenty of room and plenty to do nearby. I would highly recommend.

Great Place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I love that it has everything you need in one place: amazing views, kid and regular pool, beach, bar & grill, grocery & restaurants near by. The place itself is nicer than the photos! It is very spacious and well stocked. We would certainly book it again
