Ten miles to medieval Kilkenny city. Regular bus service from Callan to all major cities and airports.
Excellent base for exploring the sunny south east of Ireland.

Niet schoon en geluidsoverlast van een blaffende hond.

De verhuurder was vriendelijk en behulpzaam bij problemen.[lekkende kraan, verstopt toilet, passende stekkers] Het appartement was ruim maar niet overal schoon . keukenvloer was niet zo schoon en in de douchecabine zat veel schimmel . Ook alle ventilatie roosters zaten vol stof. De bedden zijn erg hard. je voelt de vering door de matras heen. ook hadden we veel geluidsoverlast van de hond van de buren waardoor we weinig nachtrust kregen. familie Schoenmaker 22-08-2018

Appartement très bien, propriétaire très sympa, mais on a pas eu de télé avant le dernier jour......

Très bien, propriétaire très sympa mais très vieille télé qui ne fonctionne pas, le propriétaire a du changer la parabole du coup on a eu la télé mais....tjrs aussi vieille !!!! Sinon tout le reste est parfait ...

Property is nice, and conveniently located in the town of Callan

David was very friendly and took the time to explain everything in the apartment. It was nice to have a washing machine to do some laundry - please note that you will need to hang clothes outside to dry. Bring slippers, as floors are not the cleanest. Some of the kitchen essentials were missing. Unfortunately, the neighbor's dog barked relentlessly during the night.

Lovely apartment in Ireland

We spent nice holidays in Ireland. The apartment is confortable and clean. Callan is well situated to visit east of Ireland. David is very friendly, meeting us on arrival. We would strongly recommend this renting. Anne and Bruno

Very enjoyable

David had everything in hand for when we arrived and even met us at the bus stop. Callan is well situated for exploring the region, with Kilkenny in particular a most delightful city. We rented a car for the weekend in order to travel farther afield to Cashel, Waterford and Wexford, which are otherwise difficult to access by public transport. Highly recommended,but might be a little 'cozy' for four people (we were two only).. We actually rented the upper apartment; bthwere free when we arrived, and David gave us the choice.

hidden gem

The photos don't do this property justice,it's a lovely apartment with lots of space. Dave was a perfect host,meeting us on arrival and keeping in touch with information. We were a last minute booking as we had been let down by someone else but Maria and Dave confirmed it all for us quickly which was fab. Callan is a lovely town,we were at a wedding in KilKenny which was about 20 minutes away so didn't have much time to explore but would love to return in the future. Thank you! X
