Ballard is a hip waterfront neighborhood with trendy restaurants, indie shops, bars and craft breweries centered on historic Ballard Avenue. Ships and salmon pass through the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks, or Ballard Locks, also a popular picnic spot. The sandy beach at Golden Gardens Park draws sunbathers and volleyball players and offers mountain views. The Nordic Heritage Museum displays the area’s Scandinavian roots. Two beach cruisers (included with property) can be used and garage parking. The accommodations were great. Bedrooms bathroom and kitchen great. Pictures online are true. Very comfortable and thoughtful gift of wine. Breweries walkable transportation near Located off a busy street so convenient but a tad noisy. Would definitely stay again
Home was clean, tidy and well stocked. Beds were comfy and neighborhood was quiet. Enjoyed reading the guest book. We would definitely stay here again.
So nice to find a place with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and so many amenities while being in the city. We walked to breweries and only 5 minutes to downtown Ballard.
Used this property for a short stay before a cruise. Very happy with the location and Frank was very responsive to any questions we had. Would highly recommend this property.
Frank's place is in a great location to breweries, coffee shops and a quick drive to downtown Seattle. Loved the care taken to make this such a comfortable spot for guests. I have been an owner with VRBO and found this place to be exceptional.
We arrived on 5/1/2025 from a short ride from the airport. Our first venue was at the Zoo, which was a bit too far to walk for us (my hubs & I are in late 60’s). The zoo is worth seeing and the weather was cool and clear…light jacket weather. The restaurants in the area are fantastic and is Fred Meyer’s store. We took the city bus to a few excursions. If we needed Lyft, it was there within minutes! The weather could not have been better and everywhere we went, the people were amazing. So nice and welcoming!! Best of times!!!
The unit was relaxing, and not far from all the main areas of seattle. Great place to stay especially if you're travelling with a toddler.
Great access to car parking with the unit and plentiful street parking. Would definitely stay in the unit again.
Came to attend a concert, went to the Zoo and the museum of music and movies.
Went to a couple of good restaurants and did some Trader Joe shopping.
Had a good time.
The property was as advertised - ample room for my wife and myself, a short ride to many of the tourist activities in Seattle, and a short walk to the local breweries. I would stay again the next time in Seattle.
Easy to reasonable walking distance to Ballard eateries and large Safeway store. Pikes Market very accessible, Ballard Locks about 2 miles walking. The condo was clean, the beds comfortable and the kitchen and supplies more than adequate. Great washer and dryer. The TV is easy to operate with good selections available.
We had a wonderful stay at the condo. It was a short drive to all the sites we wanted to see. The condo was clean and comfortably fit the 5 of us. The garage is a little small. Our SUV wouldn't fit but street parking was very easy.
We just stayed at this condo for 8 nights. It was very clean, with lovely, fresh decor. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. We liked the second floor location, private entry, attached garage. The neighborhood was safe and very walkable. We walked to several good restaurants . I would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Beware
of the location of this unit. While it faces a quiet street, the side where the living room, dining room, and both bedrooms are located is on a busy commuters' street which has a bus line running down it (8th Avenue).
I've stayed in VRBO units in four countries. This is the first time the hot water ran out while showering; however, my husband took a shower later that morning with hot water the entire time. Also, this is the first time the owner did not live in the same municipality. As far as I can tell, he lives in California; not handy if you have a problem or question in Seattle.
The unit could certainly be improved with either a dresser or some artwork on the walls of the master bedroom as well as a lamp on the bedside table of the second bedroom. Some placemats and a box of tissues would help as well. Also, an instruction booklet explaining how the door code works and when you are supposed to use the key.
Very well appointed, comfortable and spacious apartment. We really appreciated being close to several bus routes, providing easy access to downtown and other neighbourhoods. The local breweries are great. The food store is a bit of a walk but not too far. We had a very good time.
This apartment was the perfect place for a couple of pre-cruise nights. The neighborhood is quiet but close to attractions, and within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. Being from Florida, the first thing we looked for was the AC. We couldn’t find it if there is one, but it didn’t matter. The fans and open windows were all we needed to stay comfortable!
