Located in the St. Maarten building at Silver Shells Beach Resort & Spa in the heart of Destin, this 11th floor condo with over 2,000 sq ft of living area provides breathtaking gulf views, beautiful sunrises and gorgeous sunsets.

Luxurious upgrades will delight and dazzle your senses from the moment you arrive. Soft ivory tones and soothing aqua accents flow throughout the unit complimenting the spectacular turquoise waters and powder white sands of coastal Destin. Floor to ceiling glass doors and windows lead to the expansive gulf front balcony where you will capture the sound of the waves and feel the serenity of gentle gulf breezes.

Every room in this resort condominium has special touches that will impress! Beautiful new furnishings, custom artwork and on-trend décor create a stylish and inviting retreat for couples and/or families.

The large and open Living Room features all new furniture, rugs and artwork and a wall of floor to ceiling windows! It has a large sofa, club chair with ottoman and swivel glider – all providing access to the 55” flat screen Smart TV or Gulf views through the floor to ceiling windows.

The Master Suite features a gorgeous king sized bed and a breathtaking view of the Gulf through the floor to ceiling windows. Start your day by watching the waves crash on the shore from the comfort of your bed. It also provides a 48” flat screen Smart TV for your entertainment. There’s plenty of space to store your beachwear in either the spacious walk-in closet or an additional large closet, both located right off the master bathroom. The spacious Master Bath features a large walk-in shower with a bench, as well as an adjacent oversized Jacuzzi jetted tub, and double vanities.

The Queen Suite is equally well appointed with two queen beds and plenty of storage space for everything you’ve brought to the beach. This bedroom also features a wall mounted Sony Smart TV. The en suite bathroom features a combination tub/shower. The third bedroom features a Queen bed. It also features a flat screen Smart TV and has an adjacent bathroom featuring a walk in shower. These two bedrooms have large sliding glass doors to a shared private balcony facing north with outdoor seating.

The expansive gulf front balcony is furnished with plush, new outdoor furniture and is accessible from both the living room and the master suite. Whether you prefer the brilliance of coastal sunrises to the east or the romance of breathtaking sunsets to the west, the gulf front balcony is the place to start and end each day.

This stunning Gulf Front unit is located in the St. Maarten building at Silver Shells Resort in the heart of Destin.

Wonderful unit but getting the key cards was a nightmare. It’s off location and the lock box is ancient and doesn’t unlock as it should. They expect you to return the keys there , again not able to get it unlocked had to stuff the keys and wristbands in the crack of the box door because the box wouldn’t open. Not fun times at 6am.

We had a fabulous time! My main complaint is we woke up to no coffee on the first morning since we all brought k-cups and the keurig didn’t work. The ‘extra’ bathroom is pretty small.

Family Time!

We enjoyed a long weekend at the condo. We were at the perfect height for a Birds Eye view of the pelicans flying by. Enjoyed the beach, pool and condo. The nearby restaurant, The Back Porch, was easy to walk to and get some family meals quickly!

Beautiful day place to stay

This condo is absolutely beautiful. The views of the beach are amazing. Everything is very clean and there is a lot of space to stretch out. The kitchen is fully stocked and made making Thanksgiving dinner a breeze. I enjoyed spending the holiday here with my family. I’d love to come back here again.

Wonderful vacation!

The condo was exactly as described - beach is absolutely beautiful! It does seem as if you can’t use your own beach chairs and the rentals can be a bit pricey but it honestly makes for an uncluttered beach atmosphere which was very nice. I would definitely recommend this property

Great... property, location, access to the beach, A/C, ocean views, room size, kitchen, water pressure, direct elevator access, beach chairs in closet, access to restaurants, etc. Pics were good and accurate, but the actual was even better than advertised. We had a great time and would definitely return.

The property itself is excellent, very comfortable, easy to get to beach, beautiful views. However the list company, Best Beach Getaways, is horrible at communication. Make sure you call them before you arrive to confirm whether you can go straight to the property or if you need to go to their office to get the keys.

Wonderful Condo!

This was our first time in Destin and we could not have picked a better place to stay! The condo was beautiful and the gulf views were perfection! Everything from reserving, check-in, and check-out went as planned. The condo was comfortable and well stocked with everything (dishes, pans, utensils, etc.) we needed. We loved the parking garage space and easy access to the elevator and pool. We look forward to staying here again!

Destin Trip with grandkids

The condo was wonderful and just as pictured. We loved the location. The resort was great with the pool and hot tub being everyone’s favorite. Our only complaint was having to drive the 6 extra miles to get the keys and to take them back. If they could have a drop box there at the property this would definitely be a 5 star rental.

Great Destin vacation!

I’ve rented several condo’s from VRBO and this ranks as one of the best. Great location, clean, a different but great plus is the elevator only stops to an individual room rather than an entire floor. This provides for a both a secure and quiet stay as you can only get to your room/elevator with an individually assigned magnetic card. Check in was “slightly” different as you have to pick up the magnetic key at a different location that’s a few miles from the actual condo. If you arrive after 5:00 pm, ensure you know how to get the magnetic keys after hours from the off site office, as you cannot access the condo without it. Highly recommend this condo.

Beautiful condo!

The condo was perfectly located on the beach and super clean and well equipped. The views from the windows and balcony were spectacular. Our problem there, which was huge, was that the unit above us was being remodeled while we were there. The first day we endured pounding over our heads, which kept us from napping after our trip down there, and the second day there was deafening drilling or high pitched machines of some sort. It was no fault of the owners, but it seems like there should be better communication between owners and the building management. Very unfortunate for us. The communication with the owners's rep was great, but nothing was done to make amends. Also, the check in instructions sent to us said that we could have access to our unit upon arrival, but in fact we had to drive out to their office in order to get our keys after the fact. Very confusing.

water damage evident

The condo is in a great location I can see how they could possibly have renters year round. Upon arrival we were given wrong parking information. This prompted security to find us, accuse us of parking in the wrong place. We were given the wrong information on our check in package. We had to spend our fist day dealing with this. We entered into the condo and we could smell mold and water damage right away. They do hv a dehumidifier running which is obviously needed. The primary suite bathroom did not have a working shower, the tub was also broken. We checked in on saturday and the shower was not working for three nights of our stay. The bath tub was never operating. So we had two small showers for two families of four, not ideal. The maintenance team did come and fix both showers, bc the guest shower was not working either. The last day someone flooded the main elevator and we were unable to use it. There was another one in another area, very thankful. This condo could really be amazing if the primary suite continued to work and they get the tub fixed. The tub looks like it needs to be replaced. I am not sure what they can do about the apparent water damage? The floor near the main bathroom was buckling. The location is suburb, there was enough space, if only those few things could be amended I would agree to pay the top fee like we did. Some people might be excited about the large tub for themselves or kids so it would be ideal that it works. It seemed most condos came with a pre-paid set of chairs and umbrella. That would have been a nice touch or if the local rental company would have offered to pay for those bc of the other inconvenience.

Great ocean view condo

The condo is great! Everything was clean, had amazing views, and direct beach access. We did have to buy our own beach / pool towels to use. You can rent an umbrella/beach chairs or take the chairs from the condo to the beach and save on the rentals. Overall great stay and would book again!

Not the best

The check in process is not one we are use to. I don’t think you should have to drive to get keys/return especially when everyone is tired and ready to go. The place was fine but could use some updates. But looks as pictured. We had one key that wouldn’t work and I messaged immediately and they stated they would bring a new one however after several messages each day no one ever brought one. Still whatever enjoying our trip. However our last day I was changing my infant on the floor and a giant and I mean giant cockroach came right passed us. Overall leaving grossed out. This place isn’t the worst but definitely not the best.

Beach with besties

3 couples on an end of the year beach getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at silver shells. The beds were comfy, great location and fun times were had! The only down fall to our stay was the condo seemed to have a musty smell. There was definitely a lot of moisture in the air as we plugged in the dehumidifier an emptied the water quite often. The other was the coffee pot didn’t work. There was a back up but it took about 45 min to make a full pot .Other than that the condo was perfect and we will definitely be back!

Family Trip 2023

We stayed at this resort last year and loved it, so we had to come a 2nd time. We booked this room so we would have a beach view. The condo is beautiful and very spacious. The kitchen is ready for anything you need and is so organized! We love Silver Shells for its location and amazing amenities. The beach bar and beach service really save the day if you don’t feel like going up to your room for food and drinks. The only downfall was the rip tides. Mother Nature did not want anyone in the water this week!

Most beautiful Condo in Destin!!!!

This Condo was absolutely beautiful! The wrap around balcony with emerald view coast was breathtaking! Huge Master that was separate from the other two bedrooms for privacy. All three bedrooms had full baths. Extremely spacious and newly renovated! Five Stars and we will be back!!
