Rustic home nestled in the tree tops overlooking the Tennessee River. Year-round water is perfect for fishermen to enjoy freshwater fishing. The outdoor living spaces include a dock on the river, a pavilion that overlooks the river, a screened porch outside the ground level, & a wrap-around deck outside the den and master bedroom. The back of home faces the river & the sunset view is breathtaking. Property sits at Buoy Mile Marker 495 on the Tennessee River with easy access to the Grasshopper Creek boat ramp.

The house is amazing, It was well stocked with everything you needed. There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 kids and my 2 fur babies. Everyone had a great time. Most I say the gift basket was wonderful . It had a little bit of everything. The views were amazing , there was deer everywhere, even right at the back porch. We had a wonderful time on the lake. The house was large so we could spread out. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The views at sunset were beautiful. Beverly was very accommodating and answered all our questions. The gift basket was a wonderful surprised that we really appreciated. We would definitely like to come back again.

Spacious and welcoming, this “retreat” was perfect for our family’s time near Dayton. The plentiful deck areas made for pleasant outdoor time. The kitchen had most of what one needs to prepare meals and all appliances worked properly. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful few days here. The area is absolutely beautiful and the property is wonderful for visiting with family. We had several relatives come from around Tennessee for a reunion and we couldn't have asked for a better meeting place. While the weather was beautiful and there were plenty of places to gather outdoors but still under cover out of the sun. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and after cleaning the grill a bit it worked great for the burgers and hot dogs. The curvy drive in was very pretty and we spotted more deer than I could count. Several deer come by the house in the morning and we also had a family of otters pay a brief visit on the shore of the river. The deck complex and dock is especially nice and a great place to gather. One must be able to get up and down some rather impressive rock stairs to get there, but it is well worth the effort. (My 95-year-old aunt managed it!) We really enjoyed taking our morning coffee there. The town of Dayton is only about 20 minutes away and has anything you might need. The Monkey Town craft brewery is very nice and has delicious food and drink--highly recommend. The house is very roomy and comfortable with sleeping quarters on all three levels. It's nice because you can both enjoy being with family/friends but also easily find some quiet and privacy when you want. Everyone at the reunion complemented me on finding the place and we all agreed we'd love to do it again here.

This place was amazing the pictures do it no justice because there was so many different features to this place. A real hidden gem! Enjoyed fishing from the dock caught some baby bass and a blue catfish…..all of which we returned for the next guests so good luck!
