How to get to Greece in Pyrgadikia
 If you decide to come by plane
The nearest airport is Thessaloniki, an hour's flight from Athens.
Buses connect Thessaloniki to Pyrgadikia a hundred kilometers away,
but for a reasonable price. you can take a taxi (much faster solution).
If you decide to come with your vehicle
 You want to go through Italy, so do not miss Venice and its gondolas then join Ljubljana-Zagreb - Beograd .....
If you like cruises, then take the ferry in Italy (Ancona, Brindisi or Bari) and land in Greece at Igoumenitsa opposite Corfu.

The apartment is actually better than the pictures made out. It is clean and modern with 3 bedrooms and 5 beds. The view from the balcony is amazing and you can see all the way to Mt Athos. It is a steep driveway with part of it gravel. You get used to it in a front-wheel drive car. The host family is very accommodating and they live above. The addition of the common washing machine was a great help. Thanks Dimitri and family
