The two-storey holiday home Erika is located on a large, enclosed, beautifully planted plot, surrounded by pine trees and numerous Mediterranean plants and flowers, above the natural beach of Aghios Nikolaos, idyllic and with a view of the blue sea. The rustically furnished holiday home is situated on a beautiful hillside overlooking the sea in the district of Schoinias, approx. 5 km north-east of the charming village of Aghios Nikolaos.
On the ground floor of the house is the dining room with a beautiful wood-burning stove and adjoining kitchen area with direct access to the side terrace with fantastic views of the sea. The beautiful, covered terrace, furnished with a large dining table and comfortable garden chairs, serves as a summer living room. 4 steps down from the dining room is the living room with fireplace and bathroom. One floor above the living room are 3 bedrooms and a further bathroom.
To the rear and side of the holiday home is a small annex with its own entrance, which is occasionally occupied by the German landlady.

Approx. 500m as the crow flies below the holiday home is a youth camp that operates during the summer months.

Nach unserer Ankunft mussten wir feststellen, dass das Haus in sehr unsauberen Zustand war. Die Küche inklusive der Elektrogeräte mussten Grundgereinigt werden. Das Sofa in der Fernsehecke war aufgrund starker Verunreinigung nicht nutzbar. Der Eindruck setzte sich im unteren Bad fort. Die Fugen verschimmelt, die Schränke abgenutzt. Das obere Bad war modernisiert und sauber. Leider fehlte hier ein Duschvorhang, was das Duschen dort nicht möglich machte. Die Matratze in unserem Schlafzimmer war einteilig, hart und zu kurz. Leider war ein erholsamer Schlaf nicht möglich. Wirklich positiv anzumerken ist der sehr gute Panoramablick.

Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht: saubere Handtücher, Küchenutensilien, Reinigungsmittel usw. Unser Gastgeber Michael war äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und bemüht, uns einen reibungslosen und schönen Aufenthalt zu bieten.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Frau Erika Nikolaidis ist eine sehr sympathische, liebenswürdige und gastfreundliche Frau uns fehlte an nichts. Der Strand ist in ca 10 min bergab zu erreichen, eine schöne Bucht ohne Touristenströme, sehr schön zum entspannen. Schirme gibt es im Haus. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist überwältigend. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Apotheke, Tavernen gibt es in ca. 10-15 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Vielen lieben Dank an Frau Erika Nikolaidis und ihren Sohn Michael. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Gina und Familie mit Snow (Hund)

Our experience at Villa Erika was special. Michael our host met us graciously in the night due to several delays getting into Thessaloniki, and he was so kind to show us around the place and come back at another day to orient us to the area and things to do. The view of the sea is lovely and not a terrible long walk though the area is certainly a steep climb. The remoteness offers quiet serenity. It is a great location to some of the best beaches in Sithonia, such as Ormos Panagias or Vourvourou, and even for travelers wishing to see Mt Athos close to the port where ferries leave to experience the Holy Mountain. There are many benefits closeby, such as a health center, nearby village for food, mini markets or maybe 7km from the large Lidl. We were four adults and three children and had comfortable space for all to relax and spread out. Thank you again for a lovely trip!

la propriété laisse un peu à désirer.

La maison souffre d'un manque d'entretien réel : salle bain un peu vieillotte, applique lumineuse cassée, matériel de cuisine peu fonctionnel. Cette maison semble dater des années 80, mais depuis tout a mal vieilli. Le bâtiment n'est pas bien isolé et on ne peut utiliser la climatisation pourtant existante. Résultat: des nuits très chaudes. De plus, ce n'est pas très agréables de retrouver les brosses à dents des propriétaires dans la salle de bain, ou leurs manteaux dans les armoires. Il y a un réel manque de suivi général. La propriétaire est gentille, mais c'est loin d'être suffisant.

We had a wonderful time in this house. The terrace and the view are awesome. Fig trees, flowers were magnificent. The remote location of the house is a must. And the Agios Nikolaos is just few minutes away by car. Some issues re AC not working and vlack of ventilation i.e. bad odors/smell in the bathrooms.
