Nice weekend getaway

Great Getaway

Property owner was friendly and helpful, house was clean and cozy, and the property was well-maintained and scenic. We stayed for 2 days with a toddler and 9 month old and everyone had a great and relaxing time. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at the gate house There is plenty of room especially outside. It’s very close to town and there is a 7-11 right down the block in case you forget anything. The views are amazing!

The Cherry Lane's Farm Gateway, was the perfect stay for a relaxing long weekend, we had an amazing time. Peaceful Retreat

Beautiful property, and exceptional view of the Peconic Bay. The house was very comfortable and clean. The communication with the host, Patrick was seamless. It was delightful to spend time in his home and to meet him. We will be back!

Fabulous location!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The carriage house is cozy and sweet, with large windows that provide lots of light and views of the Peconic Bay and salt marsh. We couldn't have asked for a lovelier spot. Lots of privacy. Close to Greenport but in a quiet neighborhood. Convenient to Orient Point Ferry. Patrick is very helpful. We will definitely be back.

This was a beautiful piece of property it made you feel so relaxed. We were allowed to bring of two dogs which was great and I’m sure if they could talk they would say fabulous! Pat was very accommodating. A bike ride into town which was nice. We also brought our canoe and paddle board it was perfect. A little slice of heaven!

Best old fashioned summer ever - 10 yrs now!

Cherry Lane has become our home away from home. It is a special place our family has grown up loving - & kids have loved it at EVERY AGE from 2-13! It's easy, relaxed, beautiful, simple. Lots of bbq-ing, swimming, relaxing, biking or walking into town (easy & fun for the kids!), chatting with other guests & Pat. We have also gone deep sea fishing, wine tasting, berry picking. There's as much or little as you want to do. (I spend every morning on the beach with my toes in the water, sipping coffee, relaxing and recharging:) PRICELESS! We will miss Cherry Lane this summer as family plans will take us abroad but we'll be back for sure!! You want to be part of this special place.

The house is an adorable cottage with water views. It is original in its design so just one bathroom on the first floor but the views are gorgeous, super quiet, lovely area to sit and enjoy the water. Also it is very close to town, The owner was great and super communicative. I recommend it highly!

This was the perfect long weekend getaway. The location is unbeatable. Downtown was just a five minute drive and the beach was just a few steps from our house. Communication with our host was excellent and the house was very clean and exactly as described. We took advantage of the charcoal grill every night. For children, there’s a beautiful waterfront playground nearby, a carousel downtown and a miniature train ride just a few minutes away. While it is described in the listing, I would just note that there are multiple homes on the property (3 or 4, I think). They are well spaced and you do have your privacy but it is worth noting. This didn’t make a difference to my family and I as we are already planning our next return.
