Unicoi State Park is less than 5 miles away (offering hiking, canoeing, and lake activities), as is Sautee featuring a Pottery Museum, the Old Sautee Store and a number of shops and restaurants. Ziplining, biking and horseback riding are all within an easy drive. Frichey’s, a tradition in the area, is a large road side stand with year-round fresh vegetables and seasonal items.
