2 month minimum - Location! Location! Stay in the village in a uniquely beautiful and serene site. Walk to town. Enjoy long private views (and cool ocean breezes) toward the bay, set among the treetops, just a 2 minute stroll to the Harbor, fine restaurants and galleries! We just look like we're secluded, but we're right in quaint Rockport Village Center. Enjoy our stylish, comfortable home, dine, enjoy morning coffee on the deck or porch, gather at the fire pit for a quiet evening beverage, or stroll 2 minutes down the road to superb dining. Grab a walking stick and wander through our 2 acres of charming gardens down to our 50+' of waterfront on the Goose River. Relax and watch one of our 3 large HDTVs or curl up with a book--to be enjoyed together or separately in the comfy living room, separate family room or the sunny atrium. Grab lobsters from nearby Graffam Bros. (5 min walk away) and cook at home in our exceptionally well equipped kitchen, or have a bite at Graffam's summer outdoor eatery. Our freshly decorated Rockport Harbor Village home is located in the beautiful harbor town of Rockport; just a short walk to Rockport Village restaurants and 10 minute walk to the Camden Arch. Rent bikes, SUP, kayaks, etc. at nearby Maine Sports Store (.05). Enjoy excellent Rockport (18 Central Oyster House and Nina June just .02 mi), Ports of Italy (.01), or Camden restaurants (1) and hip cafes (Seafolk .02 mi), galleries (Ralston Gallery .02), shops, local specialty food and bakery (Bleeker & Greer .04), fresh and take away seafood (Graffam Bros. .02) and wine sellers (Rayr Wine .03), as well as our state of the art Rockport Library. Partake of a variety of entertainment at many local venues and Rockport and Camden Opera Houses and downtown Rockland for music and theater offerings. Enjoy scenic walking and running trails, Rockport and Camden Harbors where you can take a windjammer cruise, sailing lessons, fish, kayak, SUP or swim at our small sandy harbor beach or at a nearby lake. Only .01 mile to Maine Sports where you can rent bikes, kayaks, SUPs, canoes, etc. or shop their great selection of high quality sports clothing and gear. Or, enjoy magnificent fall foliage or a winter stay for the world renown Camden Conference or gentle skiing at Camden Snow Bowl (10 minutes away). There’s miles of nearby trails for hiking and mountain biking. Keep up with your gym workouts with a weekly membership at our state of the art Y (1 mi). Relax and read or keep fit with our rowing machine and stationary bike while taking in the river views downstairs in our atrium. The popular and beautiful town of Camden is one mile away and Camden Hills State Park is just three miles north; while Rockland--the Arts Capital of Maine--and the ferries to Vinalhaven or North Haven islands are easy (~5 mile) drive away, with charming Port Clyde with ferry to Mohegan, Tenants Harbor and Cushing are a few miles further beyond Rockland. Or visit eclectic Belfast, just ~20 minutes north. Take a beautiful day trip to Acadia National Park for fun activities in Bar Harbor. All of midcoast Maine is easily accessible from here and is certainly worth exploring!

Why they chose this property
Close to everything, yet set in a lovely, quiet location. Walking distance to a multitude of attractions, including gourmet restaurants (18 Central Oyster House, Nina June .02 mi, Ports of Italy .01 mi away), a fun cafe, bakery, galleries, library, book shop, fine wine and cheese shop, casual seafood cafe and store, gourmet butchery and fine foods with eatery, large sports clothing/gear/rental store, boating and swimming in the harbor, picnicking at the beach, etc., etc. Terrific for hiking, biking, long walks with spectacular scenery, Rockport Opera House for music and theater, Bay Chamber Concerts, Maine Media Workshops, or just a quiet nap ;-) Just a few blocks from Route 1, but quiet and serene.
What makes this property unique
A warm transitional design with lots of light and ocean breezes from large windows, yet snug and draft free in cold weather due to architecturally designed passive solar. Three above-ground levels with two gathering rooms, and 3 tvs allow for private space or gathering to enjoy together time, tv, games, etc. Large treetop front and back decking for relaxing and outdoor dining.
