If you are in the area for vacation or work, this fantastic year round home/cottage on a gorgeous piece of lakefront property is only 12-15 minutes from Bridgewater, less than 30 minutes to Mahone bay and lunenburg and 1 hour from Halifax. 2 full bedrooms upstairs and a downstairs that has a couch and is a cozy area. This amazing getaway is equipped with a heat pump, electric fireplace, pellet stove downstairs, bell fibre op internet and TV. Sit on the deck and enjoy the sounds of nature or relax with an open fire down by the lake. We also provide a canoe and peddle boat for your enjoyment. We ask when booking you provide a quick note telling us a little more about your reason for your stay and who will be joining you.

No roughing it here as you will have everything you need for a relaxing stay!

The lake house was lovely and peaceful and even though it was chilly we still managed to get out on the lake in the pedlo. Heating was easy to use and it soon warmed up. Comfy beds and lounge area. We would definitely return.

This is an absolutely amazing little cottage on Lewie Lake with a wonderful lake view. We didn’t use the waterfront due to weather and time of year (early May), but certainly would have if we were there in the summer. Very close to Bridgewater with easy day tripping to Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove. This cottage has lots of upgrades and is very cozy. Perfect for 2 or 3 people. Very clean, neat and you can tell it is well cared for. Hosts were very easy to deal with. Highly recommend this property!

We were very pleased with how clean and well-equipped this property was. The landscaping was lovely and meticulously cared for, and the furniture was modern and very comfortable. A perfect stay

A great stay if you’re planning on visiting all of the scenic areas of Nova Scotia. The cottage is clean, has a beautiful view (especially in the morning) and has Amenities fairly close by when in need. I’d give it a 10/10 if I could!

Fantastic lake front getaway!

Property is fantastic! Very clean and comfortable and well stocked with all dishes, linens, cards and games needed for a lakefront get away (including a very cool Nova Scotia shaped crib board). We very much enjoyed being able to use the canoe and other water toys on the calm lake. Definitely recommend and we will hopefully stay there again.

Easy to find and close to shopping stores, restaurants and grocery store. Slight electrical problem, which was handled by owner right away.I would recommend to anyone wanting R&R while enjoying towns and villages as well.

Nice cottage, plenty of space

My husband, kids, and i enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfy and the extra rec room downstairs was great to have space for the kids to spread out. Being there in November we didn't use the lake but the view is gorgeous and the location is great. Not far from town if you have things to do. The cottage is stocked with everything you need.

First time in Nova Scotia

We loved it! We did day trips to Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove and the Halifax Waterfront and we had company come for a relaxing afternoon from Annapolis Valley. The location was perfect for us, as it is also off the beaten path, about 15 mins to anything. The cottage is tastefully decorated, clean and the kitchen is equipped with everything we could possibly need. My partner was impressed with the comfy bedding and pillows. I had to ask Coralee a question and the answer came within minutes! We may consider another stay and have already recommended this to another family member for next year.

Peaceful Lakeside Cottage

Peaceful lakeside cottage close to all of the amenities of Bridgewaer Nova Scotia. The small Lake Lewie is not a deep lake and features warm waters. The cottage sits on a shallow end of the water's edge where you can launch a canoe or floatation device. Great for naturalists who want to see pitcher plants on the outlet side of the lake. If indoors, you'll find a kitchen with all utensils and accessories you need. Outside, a barbeque and picnic table. When the night skies appear cloudless, the star gazing is marvelous.

The lakefront house is roomy, except for the two bedrooms. Nice view of the lake from living room.

We enjoyed our stay which was cut short by a day because of an approaching hurricane.
