This was a lovely place to have a family celebration for a 70th birthday. The rooms were plentiful, comfortable, and clean. The area had lots of shopping and restaurants nearby, and was close enough to both Austin and San Marcos for swimming and river floating.

The coziest home away from home!!!

This home is so lovely it was a joy just to see all the decorations and antiques! It accommodated our group very nicely and had lots of supplies for the time we stayed. Only thing is the downstairs area does not have a full bathroom (in case a guest has limited mobility).

Everybody or couple had their own bedroom and there were many gathering spots both inside and outside for family to spend time together. Wonderful Property!

Stayed the weekend, it's a beautiful home, fully stocked, comfortable, and super cozy. Plenty of outdoor space with great sitting areas. Parking in the back is a bit tricky, but manageable. The downstairs bedroom is only a half-bath, so you have to go upstairs to shower. Overall great place to stay!

Amazing!

Having recently moved from Austin, I needed a place to host my family for our annual Easter weekend, and Sallie’s house exceeded my expectations in every way. Comfortable house, beautiful yard.
