The town of Armaçao de Para, a 5-minute drive away, offers a pleasant shopping and restaurant by the ocean.
Porches is also located minutes from major golf courses in the Algarve, and there are no less than 8 courses within a 20 km radius.
The town of Lagoa is a small town typical of the south of Portugal with its winding streets, its restaurants, its shops and its Slide and Splash center popular with young people.
