About this property

Comfortable house and neat decoration, view of the Sioule valley. WiFi.

Located in the Massif Central, in the Auvergne region near the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Park, country of the great outdoors in Châteauneuf-les-Bains crossed by the Sioule, emblematic river.

The region is rich in diversity of landscapes of valleys and plateaus.

Newly restored and decorated, the house consists of 4 rooms:

 On the ground floor

- a beautiful fitted kitchen with large oven, fridge, dishwasher, induction hob and everything you need for a good stay.

- a living room with its sofa, flat screen TV and coffee table.

- Separate toilets.

Access to the first floor by a Volvic stone staircase

 -2 large bedrooms with 160 x 200 beds with views of the Sioule valley. Comfortable quality bedding, walk-in closets. Beds made on arrival.

- A bathroom with walk-in shower, 2 sinks.

- Separate toilet.

A laundry room equipped with a washing machine and a dryer.

Outside, a furnished terrace and garden furniture, barbecue ....

Private parking for 2 vehicles.

Small additional service:
* by reservation the day before: delivery of fresh bread and pastries in the morning.(extra charge).

- Large or small hikes, on foot, on horseback, with a donkey, by mountain bike or by car from the cottage, documentation provided.

I had not properly read that there would be no towels. We have not experienced this before. We had arrived by air so carrying those is not practical. Thankfully we were close to friends who helped us or we could not have had a shower after our long journey as there were no shops near. I wish they would be provided for other travellers like ourselves. We were told it was because of Covid but bed linen was provided and we could not understand the difference! Everything else was perfect.

Une très belle maison, parfaitement entretenue, fonctionnelle et au coeur d'une région magnifique. Les propriétaires sont très agréables et accueillants. Le calme assuré. Il faut être véhiculé pour circuler et faire ses courses. Les thermes sont très plaisants aussi pour un soin ou le spa. Mes filles et moi avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.

Merci Carole pour votre accueil et votre disponibilité, tout était parfait.Le logement est beau, agréable, bien situé et fonctionnel, il a été rénové avec goût.Le cadre est super, proximité des thermes, de la Sioule, chemins de rando, beaucoup de chose à voir dans les environs.Les gorges sont un régal en moto.Nous recommandons et nous reviendrons

Sensationelles Ferienhaus mitten in der Natur

Schade dass man nur 5 Sterne vergeben kann. Dieses Domizil hätte wirklich mehr verdient.Das Gite ist sehr liebevoll restauriert mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Von der perfekt ausgestatteten Küche bis zu den Schlafzimmern die uns in wunderschöner Bettwäsche erwarteten hat es uns an gar nichts gefehlt. Ein weiteres Highlight war das großzügige und traumhaft dekorierte Bad. Es wurde hier einfach wirklich an alles gedacht . Vielen herzlichen Dank an die Vermieter

Superbe gîte

Gîte agréable et chaleureux, hôtes charmants, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour passé ici. Pas énormément de choses à faire à Châteauneuf-les-Bains (du moins en période hivernale) mais idéal si l'on recherche le calme et la tranquilité. Je recommande fortement.

Site super, mais pour la visite de l'Auvergne catastrophique. Très très peu de restauration ouverte, syndicat d'initiative non ouvert ect.. Je pense que ce n'est pas la bonne période.

Komfort und Entspannung in Chateauneuf les Bains

Wir haben 2 Wochen lang, Anfang September 2024, den Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus genossen. Alles sehr sauber und wie beschrieben. Sehr gut ausgestattete und geräumige Küche, 2 Schlafzimmer, Badezimmer mit Dusche (viel Platz), 2 Toiletten. Das Haus ist eine tolle Mischung aus ländlich-rustikal und modern, mit sehr viel Geschmack renoviert. Bei Sonnenschein gibt es genug Sitzgelegenheiten draussen. Wenn es regnet kann man auch mal einen gemütlichen Tag drinnen verbringen ohne dass einem die Decke auf den Kopf fällt. Die Gegend bietet sich für Wanderungen an, auch wenne es viel bergauf/bergab geht. Es war einfach schön !

EXCELLENT SEJOUR

Gite magnifique, tout confort, fonctionnel, très propre et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Bon accueil du propriétaire. Draps et linge de toilette fournis. La Sioule coule en contrebas et c’est très agréable et très reposant d’entendre le bruit de l’eau. La maison est fraiche, nous avons beaucoup apprécié en cette période de canicule, surtout la nuit. Belle vue sur la statut de la Vierge sur le pic Alibert en face de la maison. Nous regrettons juste le manque de magasins alimentaires dans le village. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Super séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille à Châteauneuf-les-bains, dans un charmant gîte rénové avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons apprécié le calme aux alentours et le doux ressuilement de la Sioule comme fond sonore. Le gîte est très propre et fonctionnel. Il y a plein d'activités à faire, canoë, veloraille, Vulcania, randonnée Etc. Nous remercions les propriétaires pour leur disponibilité et leur gentillesse.

Superbe gite

Gite rénové avec beaucoup de gout, très propre, décoration soignée. Les lits sont faits à l'arrivée, serviettes de bain fournies comme à l’hôtel. On entend la rivière du gite, l'endroit est très apaisant. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et disponibles. La région est magnifique, à recommander sans hésiter!

Ce gîte est très beau et à été rénové avec goût. Il est vraiment bien équipé. Emplacement au bord de la Sioule ce qui est très agréable. La propriétaire est très sympathique et facile d accès. Nous reviendront sans hésiter !

Découverte chaîne des volcans

Séjour magnifique, gîte joli et agréable, très bien rénové tout confort, literie irréprochable Sa situation géographique est parfaite nous avions toutes les activités que nous souhaitions faire dans un rayon de 30 mns de route (Puy-de-Dôme, Clermont-Ferrand, vélorail, Volvic, ballade en pleine nature) . Gîte calme, aucun bruit, détente parfaite. Quelle magnifique région, une douceur de vie parfaite pour décompresser. On reviendra !

Lieu paisible

Gîte très agréable et propre. Idéal pour 4 personnes. Il est agréable d'entendre la Sioule onduler depuis la maison. Base parfaite pour les activités dans la région (Sauna, hammam, pêche, kayak, randonnée, vélorail, VTT, le puy de Dôme, visites de villages, etc...). Dans le village lui-même, il y a malheureusement peu de commodités (boulangerie, boucherie, supermarché), mais vous obtenez beaucoup de calme et de tranquillité en retour.

Découverte très appréciée

Propriété au top ! belle propre et au calme. Carole fut d un accueil remarquable et très attentionnée. Nous avons apprécié la découverte de la région. Dommage que nous n ayons pas pu découvrir davantage les bords de la sioule. Le manque de commerces dans le village est un peu dommage mais cela permet de se retrouver dans un endroit vraiment paisible et agréable.
