hot tub, grill, fireplace, Hocking Hills, Buckeye Lake, Legend Valley
Cabin 2 of "Cabin in the Trees" is located on a wooded hillside. Therare stairs and bridges up the hill to the covered front porch and two Adirondack chairs. Outside there is a concrete patio with a picnic table and a charcoal grill. My favorite aspect of this cabin is when you open the door and see the lovely, knotted pine walls, comfy leather love seat, the electric fireplace, a queen bed, and the French doors leading onto the screened porch with the hot tub and billowy curtains for privacy and that romantic "Out of Africa" atmosphere. There is a well-appointed kitchen with full size stove/oven and refrigerator, and a cafe table with two chairs. The sliding barn door opens to the bathroom with a large shower and wine barrel sink stand.
There is no fire ring and no burning of wood. This cabin is under a canopy of trees.
As listed, there is no cable, satellite, or Wi-Fi. There is an antenna and Blu-ray/DVD player.
Bring your fishing pole! There is catch and release at our pond. We are also 13.5 miles from Legend Valley.

Absolutely a beautiful place, very quiet n exactly what we wanted for our 10 year anniversary; to get away and enjoy the quiet and beautiful town. Victoria was amazing, very helpful and informative. Def enjoyed the cabin feel and the hot tub was awesome after hiking at Hocking Hills all day. A must visit n we will def go back.
We had a wonderful time during our stay! The cabin was very comfortable and clean, the hot tun was fantastic to soak in also. We are definitely planning on being repeat visitors!
It’s was so peaceful and beautiful. The host answered all my questions so fast and was so accommodating to me running late. Definitely plan to come back

The cabin was in a nice wooded area. But there were problems. The fireplace in the description was a plug in type from the store. When taking a shower water would leak getting about a third of the restroom floor wet. Despite being there three nights with a hot tub we were only given two towels each. We would hang them up but they never fully dried. The worst part were the bugs. At night bugs came out on the countertop and in the restroom. I believe a few were water bugs and a few others looked like a cockroach.
Cozy and peaceful getaway close to wineries and other nice hiking areas. Owners were friendly and kept up with the property. Would like to stay here again.
Very lovely property, not to mention the fact the hosts are wonderful! Somerset is just a hop away, with some fantastic eateries in town.
Highly Recommended!
Absolutely loved staying in this cabin. Short drive to Hocking Hills for hiking, very clean, plenty of warm blankets and extra pillows and a lovely hot tub. Only thing that could be better would be a softer bed. Totally would come back!

Awe, thank you, Carey! You sound like me, I prefer a softer bed, as well.
I stayed here with my girlfriend during Lost Lands and it was the perfect spot to rest and recharge. The weather was great and the property was quiet and very relaxing. The hot tub was a great touch for us to enjoy every night. We would definitely stay here again if we go back to lost lands.
My boyfriend and I had one of the best weekends staying at this property. Dave and Victoria were amazing host! the cabin was just what we needed and the hot tub just made that much better! We will be back.
