About this property

Hocking Hills-Dog friendly cabin with private pond .. adults 18 and older

The Overlook is the perfect location for your next getaway! Our one bedroom cabin is furnished with all new appliances & furniture. Enjoy the full-size kitchen with refrigerator, stove, cookware, and dinnerware. We also supply the cooking utensils. We have many extras such as a microwave, a toaster, and coffee pot. The bedroom has a queen size mattress, flat screen tv, a small closet with shelves and a bench. The bathroom has a basic stand up shower (big enough for 2), plenty of clean towels and washcloths. We also provided a hair dryer, first aid kit and of course plenty of toilet paper! Outside we have a clean well managed hot tub, a picnic table a large fire pit and we can also provide firewood ($5.00 per bundle, delivery included). We have a gas grill for those who enjoy outdoor cooking (we provide the gas). There is a large deck that overlooks the beautiful stocked pond. (Please bring your own poles) If fishing isnt your thing then enjoy a romantic ride on the paddle boat. The cabin and all the included amenities are located on a heavily wooded 200 acre lot. We have hiking trails, I highly recommend to all guests that come to the Hocking Hills area to stop and check out my favorite hiking spot called Rockstull Nature Preserve. It is just 2 1/2 miles from the cabin and is the areas best kept secret! We are pet friendly and hope you bring your furry buddies so they too can enjoy a wonderful getaway!

**Camera is present on the property at the front door. Used to protect the property when it is not occupied, and generally help us stay informed as to the use of the property without doing an on-site inspection. Cameras are not in any hot tub area or area where you would expect privacy.

If you want to get away from it all, this is your place! It’s so cozy & comfortable. The pond is amazing as well as the sunsets around it. Definitely want to go back and explore. Will recommend for sure. Thanks again!!

We had a blast here. It was a quick trip, but we were able to make the most of it. The house is clean, it's conveniently right off the main road but you'd never really know bc its so quiet. Our pup loved it too. Only one caveat was that we were here during a thunderstorm- lots of acorns falling off onto the metal roof but that's not th be fault of the owner!

Very clean cabin with a lot of supplies. So nice to have a full sized washer and dryer. Had plenty of yard to walk our dog. The weather was so hot that we didn’t use the hot tub but it’s a real bonus. We will try to come back next year.

Clean, beautiful, private and relaxing! The hot tub doesn’t get very hot unless you let it heat up with the cover on, but it was still a great experience! The home is cozy and perfect for a couples getaway.

Best cabin experience we've ever had! Cabin was spotless and grounds were perfectly maintained. Our dog had an absolute blast! She saw turtles and fish in the pond and we were mesmerized by the water fountain in the pond. Very quiet and felt like we were miles from anyone. Just what we needed.

Wonderful!An amazing place to get away and find some true relaxation. For 5 days we had on and off rain which made this warm, welcoming cabin feel snug and cozy. The hot tub was perfect and the bass in the pond were hungry! This get-away provided everything that you book a VRBO for, and exactly what we needed!

The cabin was a fantastic get away, the fishing in the private pond was relaxing, the host responded quickly to any issues, and the dogs had a great time. The cabin is around 20 to 30 minutes from the main trails, but that just means less noise and no neighbors! I highly recommend this cabin for couples looking to get away from it all.

Lovely property in a perfect location! The cabin was clean, well stocked with supplies and the kitchen had everything we needed. The high point of the site was the little pond! We caught over a dozen little bass!! We enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub and watching the sunset each night. Fantastic romantic getaway.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! About half hour away from the hiking at Hocking Hills. Half hour away from Walmart. The nearest gas station is 2 minutes down the road. Enjoyed the paddle boat the first pit and the hot tub view was absolutely amazing! Will be back

The privacy that The overlook cabin is key for me. Located on 200 acres of woods that you can explore, plus your very own pond to enjoy. The Hot tub is new this year, and the fire pit is just a few yards from it. Total relaxation is what our cabin is all about.

The privacy and the fact that you can bring your Best friend along with you. They don’t have to stay at a kennel while you enjoy the great outdoors.
