Huge thanks to Michael and his wife for a fantastic stay! Their condo at Mammoth Ski & Racquet Club is cozy, comfortable, and in a perfect location. We loved the easy ski-back access via the Village Trail and spent every evening relaxing in the nearby hot tub. The amenities were top-notch and made our ski trip seamless. Highly recommended!
Parking was a bit chaotic, my truck didn’t fit in the garage and the spaces outside were always taken so had to park a good distance from the actual condo. Other than that everything was excellent!
Property was great! We loved the location and the amenities. It made the trip very easy traveling with a child. The bathrooms were nice and the bed was very comfortable
The condo was newly renovated upon our stay. The bathrooms were completely updated and the unit was nicely decorated. Great attention to detail and everything was brand new. Canyon Lodge just a couple blocks up the road and a nice walk to The Village. Looking forward to our next trip!

Thanks Angela, look forward to having you back on your next visit to Mammoth!
Property was clean, nice, spacious and comfortable. We'd stay here again. Only note for future occupants is (1) requires couple flights of stairs to get to condo, and (2) if it's snowing, given property is up a hill, you will need chains. Great place, though.
The condo was in walking distance to Canyon lodge and lifts which was very convenient. The check-in process was super simple and the condo had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and having two bathrooms was ideal. We stayed with our two dogs who also were very comfortable and enjoyed the condo and property. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place in Mammoth close to lifts and a short drive to the Village.
nice property, crazy storm hit while there, snowed in for a few days, lifts closed, would have loved a shovel to dig out the car as the property plow contractor left a lot of deep snow at the garage ,lots of space for a 1 bedroom condo, two bathrooms was nice

Condo in Mammoth
The condo was not as comfortable as we would have hoped, especially the dining area and living room. Definitely not ski in and out. Beware if tou have pet allergies. Nice Jacuzzi!
The place is great, very close to the mountain. That being said, we reached out to our host upon checking after having issues with access on the first day and never heard back during our entire several day long stay. Thankfully we figured it out but could have been much worse and honestly is an unacceptable level of support from the hosts. It’s also right next to the staircase so we frequently heard loud clomping of skiers in their boots before/after hitting the mountain. Didn’t bother us but definitely not something you can sleep through if a light sleeper

Morgan, I am sorry to hear you had an issue with access as this is the first I have heard about it. Can I ask where you tried to reach me as I have no record of a VRBO message, call or text as I always reply immediately. Sorry again we did not meet our expectations of a five star stay.
The unit was disgustingly dirty. This was not just the housekeeper slacked off that week. The place needs a major detailed cleaning. We had to clean a lot upon arrival just to make it livable. The unit is also two long steep flights up with a changing of staircases. That was not clear to me from the listing. To get to the unit you have to traverse a very steep hill. It was not salted/maintained well as its a private road. We got stuck on black ice in spite of traveling in a 4x4 very powerful SUV and couldn't get help (from property managers or AAA). We called about help being stranded as well as the dirty condition of the unit and got no return call. The unit also did not have a BBQ as pictured or noted. This was a disaster of a stay for my family. The only positives about this unit are that it is nicely remodeled and close to Canyon Lodge.
This place was filthy with dog hair and a strong pet urine smell throughout the condo. There was even dog hair on the kitchen cabinets. The sleeper sofa was not comfortable at all. It consisted of an uneven bar frame topped with a yellow stained, thin mattress topper where the bars would poke your back. We had to lay the mattress topper on the floor to sleep and smell the strong pet urine smell on the rug and on the floor under us. The dishes were stained with food and the sliding bathroom barn door was very hard to open and close. There was also dog hair embedded into the carpets and furniture. I've never seem a Vrbo or any rental this disgusting. I reached out to the owners immediately and sent them pictures but they they still haven't replied. It's been 6 days. Not very friendly or accommodating and frankly, I don't think they care one bit. Think twice before renting this place.

Jason, we are very sorry to hear you felt you had a bad stay, this is the absolute first correspondence we have received from you, who did you reach out to and send pictures to that did not respond? We have a great maid team and I personally was in the unit the day of your arrival and did not witness any of the things you are stating. I also checked with my property manager Chris whose contact info is in the guest book to address any immediate issues, they never heard from you either. We have numerous 5-star reviews. Sorry again for any inconvenience, we would have immediately addressed anything if you would have reached us.
My boyfriend and I stayed for my birthday with our dogs and it was such a cute/cozy place! So close to the mountain and village! Jacuzzi and sauna were so nice after a long day in the cold. Highly recommend!
We arrived 2 hrs early and property still had not been cleaned. I knew our check in time was at 4pm but wanted to see the unit and area. The cleaning service showed up 15min after I called the owner.
I asked the maid service if it will take them 2 hours to clean, they said "come back in an hour".
Only an hour to clean a unit during COVID!
We came back at 4pm (our check in time) and of course the unit wasn't properly cleaned! The hardwood floors had not been touched at all!
Emailed the owner and he said he can have them come back.
At this point... we have all our luggage, dogs , and bags inside.
Why would I want the cleaning service back in the unit during Covid! They should've done their job properly in the first place!
I ended up cleaning it myself, and no apology from owner.
To make matters worse... I was making the bed in the morning, and on my husband's side of bed, there were yellow stains on the white bedding!!
Emailed the owner and still no apology, just passed the buck to the management company handing his unit and said please call Chris for bedding.
As a business owner myself. Taking responsibility and apologizing would've made this stay a lot better.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS UNIT.
Great property that is super close to Canyon. The only difficulty we had was the coin op washer didn’t work and the upstairs neighbors were loud but that was just due to the building. The owner was easy to communicate with and helpful!
Last condo in the last unit, so no neighbors on one side and a better view of the forest. A great bed and all the kitchen supplies you need. Much better than a suite at a hotel at a better price.
It was nice to find an updated condo that takes pets! Great location to be able to ride bikes into the village and even ride straight to the condo from one of the bike trails.
The owner was very kind and promptly responded to our requests upon arrival.
Unfortunately, we could hear everything that the upstairs neighbors were doing, but it didn’t bother us too much.
Overall great value!
