Ideally Located on the Unspoiled Sea Ranch Meadow

Unit 24... Lot 67. A traditional Sea Ranch home, the Kenber house was designed by Don Jacobs and completed in 1985. Ideally located on the unspoiled Sea Ranch meadow and situated down the street from the popular Shell Beach or One Eyed Jack’s playground, bocce ball court and picnic area.

The entry level enjoys an open kitchen which includes all the appliances you will need if you like to cook – a heavy duty mixer, food processor, slow cooker, deep fryer and a gas five burner continuous grid DCS cooktop. The great room has oversized window seats looking out over the meadow and beyond towards beautiful blue water views. A cozy woodstove completes the setting to relax and enjoy the company of family and friends. Kenber also has forced air central heating.
The great room has a slider leading to the southwest patio deck and hot tub. The patio also has a gas grill and outside table seating six comfortably.

The Kenber house includes a cedar paneled master suite with a king bed and attached large bathroom with oversized shower. A sliding door leads to the hot tub deck as well. Imagine relaxing under the stars while in Sea Ranch bliss.
The second bedroom includes a queen bed and two twin built in bunks for overflow. The second bathroom in hall has a tub/shower.
Next are the stairs leading up to the loft with a vaulted hip-beamed cedar ceiling which overlooks the great room below.
There you will find a full futon, and for your enjoyment a 47-inch flat screen television complete with Apple and YouTube TV with Netflix.

The Kenber house welcomes children and pets. It is ideal for a couple, a family, two couples or even two families – its location, its amenities and warmth make it an excellent choice for a weekend, a week or longer. The Kenber provides full internet service at no additional charge.

Bed linens and towels are NOT provided, bring your own or rent them from Beach Rentals.
An attached cottage is reserved for the owners’ use – however, the owners never occupy it when the main house is rented.

SEA RANCH AND SONOMA COUNTY GUIDELINES
Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night.
Dogs must be leashed and cannot be left unattended.
Maximum number of vehicles at house shall be 3 (three), parked in driveway. No RV's.
Maximum occupancy is 6 for this home.

Relaxing Stay at a Great Property. The Kenber home has a lot of character and was interesting how the owners have decorated it with their pictures and mementos. Home was clean and tidy. I was a bit unsure how it would be when I reserved it as they charge for sheets and towels. Also had to put down a 1,000 deposit (refundable). We have rented 8 other Sea Ranch homes that all provided sheets/towels. Was not a problem, just different from our norm. Made our reservations late and with a small dog there were limited options for us with Sea Ranch homes available. This actually worked out well for us as the location was great and the home was very nice. We would definitely come back again to stay here in the future. Had a lot of fun and really enjoyed our vist!

We always stay in places that include linens. It doesn’t seem too much to expect that so just know it’s for basic needs and you provide the rest. Linens, towels, foil, plastic wrap, dish soap etc.

I love this house. It's a great embodiment of the Sea Ranch ethos. It's well-designed without trying to be fancy like a lot of newer Sea Ranch homes. The main room is beautiful and kitchen was well-stocked. A short walk to the beach but you land right where the sea lions hang out. Highly recommend!

Natural Drama

Perfectly situated on a meadow that affords everchanging wildlife drama, and a sliver of an ocean view, this house is comfortable and well appointed right down to the kitchen. Clearly much thought went into the initial design and that care continues through to the detailing. Windows are well placed for views and natural light; even the hot tub is well situated for open night sky star watching while feeling extremely private. A lovely house.

Everything in its right place

The Kenber House is just right. The location is perfectly situated near the lovely Shell Beach and just a 6 minute drive from Gualala. The home is a perfect size - cozy but the perfect proportions to feel generously spacious. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with every piece of cookware you might need. And of course the back deck faces the open meadow, equipped with a grill and a hot tub. Perfectly peaceful.
