Perfect!

This is the perfect location for a Sea Ranch getaway. The surf is a stone's throw away. This home is very comfortable and inviting with great unobstructed ocean views from every room.The host was very cooperative and responsive.

Perfect getaway for 2 couples

Our group of four had a lovely stay at Windsong. The views are truly spectacular and we enjoyed a stormy weekend watching crashing waves and listening to the rain by the fire. We hardly left the property because it was so relaxing and comfortable. We particularly appreciated how comfortable the beds were, the quality of the blankets and linens, and the extra touches like binoculars and umbrellas. Both bedrooms and the living room had ocean views but also full window shades that could be lowered for light and privacy which was nice since the walking path passes in front of the house. We would absolutely stay again!

The house was perfect for two couples: two separate bedroom suites, a great open kitchen/dining/living room space, and fantastic; views from all rooms. The hiking trail along the bluff is 40 yards from the deck - close, but not too close. We look forward to returning!

lovely, private oceanfront retreat

perfect Sea Ranch location a few steps from bluff trail, in the older, southern part of Sea Ranch, where the original design concept is still in evidence. Although there are houses on either side, it feels completely private: from the deck and house, you don't see the neighboring homes; all you see is the meadow, cypress trees, and ocean. The house is very comfortable. The large deck includes a recessed nook that is sheltered from the northwest winds yet still affords great views. The kitchen is very well equipped. Hosts were very responsive. We hope to return!.

Clean, comfortable, beautiful views and very cozy.

We plan to come back in the fall if it’s still available. Just scan fyi…the BBQ was uncovered, very rusted and we couldn’t start it. A comment from one of the gals is that there wasn’t sponge or dish rag to wipe counters. So we used a lot of paper towels. But overall, it was one of our best trips in 30 years.

Birthday get away

We love Sea Ranch and just sold our Sea Ranch house in August so it was wonderful to stay in this beautiful home with my husband and have our friends over for a dinner without having to worry about the up keep of our own house. We will be back soon.

Wonderful Location

Late October was a great time to be in Sea Ranch. Weather was perfect, location was excellent—beautiful sunsets, path along bluff steps from patio, and deer were visible from the deck. Overall an exceptional property.

Beautifully located and furnished house ideally located close to Sea Ranch Lodge, Ohlson Recreation Center , and the coastal path. Kitchen has every food preparation device that a cook could desire. Great decks and hot tub. Very responsive property manager. Super three day visit.

Peaceful, quiet and relaxing

I've stayed at this property many times over the past 25 years. I stay here over and over because the house is beautifully laid out, very clean and comfortable. I love all of the windows, decks and view. John and I had planned on doing a great deal of hiking out at Sea Ranch but it turned out we did very little. Instead we spent our time driving around Sea Ranch to reacquaint ourselves with the area as its been four or five years sine we were here. The rest of our time we spent in the house enjoying the views and the house. This turned out to be a very relaxing stay. We loved it.

Windsong Rental Property

This was our first time renting Windsong and now I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else! It is perfect for 4 people. Beautiful ocean views, two large master suites, modern and fully equipped kitchen plus a private hot tub. Owner was very responsive and helpful when I needed to contact her. I would highly recommend this property.

Bliss at Sea Ranch

This home is perfect for two couples. Extremely clean, ocean view with a deck for relaxing and taking in the beautiful ocean. It is situated between the lodge and Gualala which makes it an easy drive to whatever you need. The host Jennifer was so responsive and helpful from the very minute we booked the house. We have stayed in Sea Ranch for at least 13 years and this is definately one of our favorite homes. Highly recommend! Looking forward to booking this home again.

Perfect home for 4 at the Sea Ranch

We loved every minute of our stay at Windsong, and can't wait to return! Even before our arrival communication with Jennifer (owner) was clear, easy. Thoughtful and kind responses to my questions were almost instantaneous. Online photos of this house, while very good, don't do it justice-it's gorgeous. The floor plan is close to perfect. Views + access to exterior decks = outstanding. Two ensuite King bedrooms (with plenty of separation) ensured privacy, quiet, and comfortable enjoyment for both couples. Linens, towels, bath necessities all exceptional. The kitchen is outfitted with everything one could possibly need, and the propane bbq worked perfectly. Proximity to everything, including gorgeous bluff trail and Pebble Beach, was perfect. Thank you Jennifer & family for a truly memorable stay!

We are in love with The Sea Ranch and this home, and managed to purchase it in 2016! We look forward to continuing to share it with all who have come before and with all who are new to the area. It was built in 1991 and lovingly remodeled in 2011 and again in 2016.

Why they chose this property

The stunningly beautiful Sea Ranch coastline is unparalleled! Nature's splendor and majesty is its crowning glory. Windsong, a gem-like respite along its edge, is a single-level home with two master suites, each boasting a king-sized bed, quality bedding, and gorgeous baths. White water views can be seen from the decks as well as from all rooms in the home. To us, there is nothing better than enjoying that first cup of coffee in the morning with waves crashing a few yards beyond, or lounging at day's end with a glass of wine, enjoying the sunset. Daily walks along the bluff trail, which Windsong sits adjacent to, is our favorite activity, inspiring and breathtaking. Our home is complete with its own private hot tub, internet access, new modern gas fireplace, 40-inch flat screen TV with satellite and DVD player, bluetooth speaker for use with your bluetooth music devices, washer/dryer, and well-appointed kitchen. A few steps to the south is Pebble Beach, just one of several beautiful coves clustered along the amazing 40-mile stretch of Sea Ranch trails, 10 miles of which ramble along the bluff of the most pristine stretch of California coastline imaginable. Beauty and serenity await!
