I had a great stay in Galena for the weekend. The place was very clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Check-in and check-out were easy, and everything was as described. I’d definitely stay here again!

Let me start by saying that the house was very nicely updated & very clean. We did have a few issues though. 1. There were huge flying bugs that we kept finding and hearing pretty consistently. There was a notification in the house that bugs were sort of an issue but we didn’t expect the extent. We tried to figure out where they were coming from, but couldn’t.(I took a photo)2. I stayed in the room on the second floor. When I pulled back the comforter to get in bed, the sheets were dirty & stained.(I took a photo)The listing shows that the pool is a quick two minute drive. That’s totally incorrect. It took us 5 to 7 minutes to drive there. This was disappointing.

Amazing stay!

Loved our stay at this quaint rental! Perfect for our family of 3 and pup. Very clean. Loved the surrounding area, including hiking trails and waterfalls. We hope to come back in the future!

Lovely little cabin

Had a very relaxing time at this property. Very clean with all the amenities you can think of. It was easy to communicate with the owner. Would definitely stay again. Loved that there was a fireplace in the back!

Adorable property 4 miles from town. Very quiet, plenty of parking, easy access to main roads. Cozy back deck overlooking greenery. We had a great girls weekend. Would definatley stay again.

Cozy cottage with extras

We loved how comfy and cozy this place was. Beds were super comfortable and we loved that there was a firepit to use. Neighbors are close, but the layout of the cottages gives you as much privacy as possible. Staying here and driving to Galena was the best of both worlds. Very quiet place in the country with walking paths nearby, but close to town

Exceeded expectations

This property is beautiful inside and out. Nature and hiking trails are breathtaking and right outside the front door. So convenient to downtown Galena too! Communication with host was top notch - clear and concise. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

First Annual Mother Daughter Weekend

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. Quaint little house. Amenities were very nice. Property owner very easy to deal with and quite accommodating. Might think about adding ceiling fan in downstairs bedroom. 😊 Would definitely recommend to others!

The dedication and care put into this house are absolutely phenomenal. The home is very clean and well maintained, which made our stay immediately comfortable and welcoming.This would be an even better getaway in summer or early fall, as the waterfall is only about a 14-minute walk away, making the location especially enjoyable for outdoor lovers.As for the living room, the chair is nice, but it would be great to see a newer, more comfortable sofa, along with a footrest and a small side table next to the chair for added comfort. It would also be nice to have better pillows in the bedrooms for an improved sleeping experience.Overall, it was a really great stay, and the host was absolutely amazing—very attentive and kind. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again.

Fall Escape

This is our second stay at this Settlement home. The home is well-equipped for our needs and is comfortable and quiet. The K-cups and coffee provided was a welcomed convenience; many other rentals do not provide his little extra. Thank you!!
