In the heart of the small medieval town of Nolay, rent a town house, ideally well placed for its view of the vineyard, fully restored and nicely decorated while keeping the authenticity of the rooms on the 1st floor with its tomettes and parquet floors.

You have all the shops in Nolay, a medieval village with its stone-roofed market halls (XIVth century) and its church (XVth and XVIIth centuries). All this surveyed of small medieval streets. You can discover Beaune and the Hospices located 18 km away and classified World Heritage, the Grands Crus route from Dijon Capital of Burgundy to Santenay and its casino, Autun and its Gallo-Roman context located 25 km away, Chalon sur SaÎne located 30 km and all its shops, Le Creusot and its industrial past at 30 km, Le Morvan with the François Mitterrand Museum at Chùteau Chinon, its Regional Natural Park at 30 km and Lac des Settons. And without forgetting its different castles of Pommard, Couches, Sully, Rully and La Rochepot.
For nature lovers, you will discover the hiking trails, the greenway from Nolay to Santenay, the cliffs at the Bout du Monde in Cormot and on Nolay, its body of water monitored in summer. Without forgetting Accrobranches sur Givry located 28 km away.
For lovers of good wines, you can visit cellars and taste nearby.

Great experience

We had a great stay, just too short for us. The owners thought of everything, even toys to play with for the kids. We really love the area of the wine fields and you see them from the terrace. We really recommend this house.

Delightful outdoor living in a traditional French gite

The garden was particularly lovely. We enjoyed bbqs whilst listening to the birds. It was nice to be able to walk into the charming village to buy fresh bread, fresh meat and fish and great wine. The gite was well equipped and provided an excellent base to explore the Burgundy vineyards.

Burgundy Bliss

Nolay is a lovely town with very friendly residents and a brilliant boulangerie/patisserie plus everything else you might need. The house is just on the fringe and a short walk to the centre and very well placed for touring the many very famous vineyards and chateaux in the area. We had brilliant weather and often sunbathed in the lovely garden where BBQ's were frequent. Karine was very welcoming and helpful and provided a bottle of FIZZ for us on arrival which we really needed after the drive from Calais. Thank you so much Karine.

We stayed during mid-September. It's a really nice little house on the edge of the town of Nolay. It's peaceful and quiet. Parking is easy. It's just outside. The road is, again, quiet with little, if any, through traffic. The shops are within easy walking distance; especially the two bakers in town. There's a good supermarket too just on the edge of town called bi1. It was more than adequate for our purposes.The house itself has all you really need. It's adequately equipped. Actually, for us, it was quite comfortable.The garden is a nice size. There are plenty of chairs for outdoor use and a decent sized table. There are some neighbours, but we didn't see them! Our host, Karine, was very attentive and very welcoming. She met us at the house and showed us around. During our time there we did have a couple of questions which Karine addressed in very good time.We had a good stay. It's good value for money.

Gite calme en limite de la ville tout en Ă©tant proche de tous les bons commerces .DĂ©part en randonnĂ©es de la maison par la voie verte ou les diffĂ©rents chemins et petites routes vers les vignes,falaises ou cascades. Beaune Ă  une petite demi heure avec ses hospices immanquables mais Ă©galement la ville qui vaut le dĂ©tour de mĂȘme que les vignes chĂąteaux et villages autour. Un peu trop de chaleur cette semaine pour nous nordistes qui n y sommes pas habituĂ©s...En bref une belle dĂ©couverte de la Bourgogne dans un joli cadre et une hĂŽte trĂšs sympathique.

Na aankomst in het huis ben je gauw op je gemak. Het is prettig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. De tuin is rustig en zonnig. De ligging ten opzichte van het dorp Nolay is geweldig, een goede bakker en een ruime supermarkt zijn lopend te bereiken. Nolay zelf licht mooi centraal in de Bourgogne waardoor plaatsen als Beaune, Meursalt en Dijon eenvoudig te bezoeken zijn. De eigenaar is uitstekend te bereiken en buitengewoon vriendelijk.

Les contacts avec la propriĂ©taire avant l'arrivĂ© se sont bien dĂ©roulĂ© ainsi que l'accueil. Le logement est idĂ©alement situĂ© dans Nolay sans ĂȘtre sur la route qui traverse le village. On peut quasiment faire ses courses sans voiture. Pas de surprise par rapport au logement, la description est tout Ă  fait correcte. Le jardin est un vrai plus pour les enfants. Beaucoup d'activitĂ© sont disponible Ă  proximitĂ© et le Parc du Morvan se situe entre 30 min et 1 heure de route en fonction de l'endroit. A recommander et Ă  refaire.

Fantastique séjour en Bourgogne

Cette charmante maison de poupée nous a hébergé durant une semaine. Elle est merveilleusement bien située, d'une propreté remarquable et assez fonctionnelle. Mooi huis, goed verzorgd met een prachtige hele grote tuin. Het uitzicht is puur natuur. Heel erg geschikt voor mensen die graag wandelen en/of fietsen. Op de Voies Vertes rijden geen auto's en er is een ruime keuze aan Grand Randonnée wandelroutes. Op 1 km van het huis is een grote supermarkt en in het dorp zelf zijn 3 restaurants.
