With its shaded terraces, its oak grove and a magnificent view of the Petit Luberon, this old ocher factory restored with authenticity constitutes an exceptional setting for your holidays.
Stone, brick, iron, wood and glass reflect the light of Provence on this classified ocher site which is part of the historical heritage of the region.
Our large private wooded property (7.5 ha) located in the Parc du Luberon ensures calm and serenity in the southern sun, all within a few minutes' walk of the magnificent village of Roussillon.
Garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue are at your service for unforgettable summer evenings in the softness of the exterior architectural lighting.
With its fireplace and cozy living room, our shed, perfectly heated with gas, is also a very comfortable place to stay for winter and mid-seasons.

One of the best holiday cottages

This is a gem - set in private woods and glade just a short walk down from the village of Rousillon. The house is historic and beautiful from the outside and modern and stylish on the inside. Perfect for touring Luberon, or just relaxing on the terrace or by the pool.

The house and location were ideal for visiting the sights of Provence.The only improvement I would suggest is to improve the quality of the wifi…quite slow when more than one person was on it.

Enjoyed a lovely, relaxing final 2 weeks of the school holidays with our 3 teenage boys and 10-year old. We stayed in Le Cabanon and it was perfect. Some relaxing pool days and lots of sightseeing - so much to see in the local area. The owner Francois and his wife Emanuele were very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at "the cabanet" a lot. The house was very nice and cosy. The place was defenitly renovated with sense of quality, as was the furniture in and outside. The surrounding, if you don't appreciate that, than you should stay at home. Very good communication before and during the stay. It was the son who was arround. Always available and very friendly. Top location. we will come back.

Lovely time in Roussillon

We had a lovely week at this property. We were the only guests in a site that would normally accommodate a couple of parties. As a result we had sole access to a fairly sizable pool. François was a very helpful and obliging host and ensured that all was smooth when we arrived on the first day. We spent most of our time at the property with occasional day trips to various sites e.g. Pont-du-Gard, as the weather was lovely and the pool very enticing. The Cabanon itself was lovely and had all the required equipment for a self catering holiday. Would definitely recommend if you are planning a summer holiday to the south of France.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub, in perfekter Umgebung, in einem sehr schönen Haus. Das ist der perfekte Urlaubsort für den, der Ruhe sucht. Das Haus ist ein authentisch renoviertes Gebäude einer alten Ockerfabrik mit Loft-Charakter und bietet allen Komfort einer Ferienwohnung. Der gepflegte Pool ist schön groß und und bietet ausreichend Platz für die Mitbenutzung durch die Gäste für zweiten Ferienwohnung auf dem Gelände. Die Gebäude stehen aber in einem ausreichenden Abstand zueinander, so dass man immer für sich ist, wenn man das möchte. Alle Highlights der Provence liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, zurückhaltend, aber immer erreichbar und stets bemüht, einer den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Alles in allem, sehr zu empfehlen.

Herrliche Ruhe

Das Ferienhaus liegt wirklich ganz einsam auf einem riesen Grundstück. Wir hatten Glück, dass das 2. Ferienhaus nicht belegt war und wir bis auf Wildschweine und Skorpione ganz alleine waren....eine herrliche Ruhe. Das Haus ist rustikal eingerichtet, alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Allerdings hätten wir uns mehr als 1 Handtuch p.P. für 8 Tage gewünscht und Bettdecke Duschvorhang müssten dringend mal gewechselt werden. Ansonsten liegt die Unterkunft fußläufig nach Roussillon, wo es auch einen Supermarkt für den täglichen Bedarf gibt. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen....

entspannter Urlaub in historischer Umgebung

Wir hatten eine sehr entspannte Woche in einer super ruhigen Umgebung. Überall gab es gemütliche Sitzplätzchen und Hängematte, gleich neben dem Pool. Besonders hat uns die historischen Ockerbecken und Brennöfen beim Ferienhaus gefallen da uns der Ockerabbau sehr interessiert.

Kleine Oase bei Roussillon

Wir haben eine Woche im Cabanon ( mitnichten ein „Schuppen“, das muss ein Übersetzungsfehler sein) verbracht und waren verzaubert von der herrlichen Lage, der Ruhe, dem rustikalen Charme des Hauses und der Einrichtung und diesem wunderbaren Pool. Es fiel uns jeden Tag schwer uns zu Ausflügen aufzuraffen, weil wir so gerne einfach auf der Terrasse verweilt sind und diese Ruhe genossen haben. Die Buchungsmodalitäten sowie die Kommunikation mit François im Vorfeld und auch während des Aufenthalts war unkompliziert und tadellos.

Un coin de Paradis

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Cabanon situé au milieu d’un bois mais néanmoins parfaitement accessible avec n’importe quelle voiture. Endroit très calme et reposant. Le Cabanon est très bien aménagé, cosy et confortable. La literie est très bonne. François, Dominique et leurs enfants sont à la fois prévenants et discrets. C’était l’endroit rêvé pour nos vacances en famille!

Sehr schön gelegenes Haus, voller Ruhe mit Pool auf großem Grundstück

Dank gutem Wetter hatten wir zwei wundervolle Wochen in dem Cabanon mit dem schönen Poolbereich in dem unteren Geländeteil verbracht. Da das andere Ferienhaus zu der Zeit nicht vermietet war, hatten wir vollkommene Ruhe und konnten die Sonnentage am Pool für uns geniessen. Der Pool ist je nach Jahreszeit auch beheizt. Francois war zum Anreisetag nicht vor Ort und hat uns telefonisch empfangen, erklärte alles Wichtige zum Ferienhaus, was ziemlich gut funktioniert hat. Später war er mit seiner Frau einige Tag vor Ort und wir hatten Gelegenheit beide kennenzulernen. Die Kommunikation (französisch, englisch) im Vorfeld, Informationen zur Anreise waren gut und Francois war telefonisch für Fragen gut erreichbar und kümmerte sich während des Aufenthaltes nett um seine Mieter. Die Küche ist mit großen Kühlschrank, Gefrierschrank sowie mit moderner wertiger Spülmaschine, Kochfeld, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Waschmaschine, Wasserkocher, Filter Kaffeemaschine und allen was man so braucht, gut ausgestattet. Mit der Kaffemaaschine braucht etwas Geduld und könnte beizeiten durch eine schnellere ersetzt werden. Gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeiten mit Kamin im Wohnbereich sind vorhanden. Einige der weißen Drehsessel sind verbogen und wäre mal zu erneuern. Es gibt jedoch genügend andere Stühle. Zwei Schlafzimmer sind jeweils mit einem Badezimmer mit einem schönen und wertigen Duschbereich im Obergeschoss vorhanden. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne wieder kommen.
