This place is fine, unless you want to sit on the couch or sleep. While it was clean, it was dated and the “couch” desperately needs replacing. Worst of all is the pub downstairs and the loud music, bass blaring from 8-midnight. It ruined our time here. Would never recommend to anyone as long as the pub is below.

Great stay!

The property was perfect for our trip - all the amenities we needed and everything that we wanted to visit was well within driving distance. Only recommendation if someone was to travel in the summer bring a fan as the property doesn’t have AC. Would absolutely recommend this property for anyone looking for a Vermont getaway!

Great Stay!

Overall a great place to stay! Great location, bed was comfy, having a full kitchen to cook meals in was great! Even went downstairs one night for a drink and the bar was a lot of fun! Only complaint I had was that I wish I was notified that the washer and dryer was out of order. We packed for skiing thinking we would be able to do a load of laundry between ski days, and with no washer or dryer that worked we ended up having to wear the same dirty ski gear again.

Very clean and conveniently located one bedroom small apartment on second floor. Across the Mountain Road from the bike path and close to restaurants and shops. About halfway between the town and the mountain resort. We loved the location. The king bed was very comfortable. The only negative I have is that the sleeper sofa in the living area isn't very comfortable to sit on. Overall, a great place and a bonus that we could bring our dog.

We love the location and the apartment - very cozy, comfy bed. Kitchen was not super-well fitted out. The couch (notorious from earlier reviews) is still there... But the big thing is that the famous Burt's Irish Pub has moved into the lower floor. It is no longer a quiet retreat in the evenings and the quiet after 10pm sign is a bit ironic. None of this would be a problem, except that it is not included in the property description, so our peaceful weekend away was ... not. I'd be very glad for screens in the windows to get a nice cross breeze. Super easy in and out, great parking and close to everything you'd need. Listing says it is on "1st floor" which is correct if you are European. If you have trouble with stairs, this isn't for you. All in all, great property - please update the listing so there aren't surprises!

The location of this cannot be beat, but we were reliant on being able to sleep four people comfortably and a working washing machine, both of which were difficult or not possible. The washing machine had pieces removed from the latch, so we couldn’t do laundry. We brought our five and eight year old along, and the futon was very tight for them. Don’t expect to fit two adults on it. The place was stocked with dishes and was clean, which was great. You definitely have noise from the bar, but it only went until 10:30 or 11; however, it’s worth noting for anyone looking to stay here.

Loved that it’s located close to all the central attractions. That’s about it. Loud music at night with very heavy bass which vibrated through the whole apartment. Parking is sparse if you go out on the town and arrive back at the appointment while the bar is hopping. I had expectations that the washer and dryer were in usable condition. Nope ! The washing machine door latch is broken. The room heater air filters need to be cleaned. They probably haven’t been cleaned since the unit was installed. So ya…it’s 2 stars.

While the check-in, proximity to downtown Stowe & the mountain rec trail and cleanliness are great, the fact that the apartment is above the famous Burt’s Irish pub could be an issue for those wanting to enjoy a restful night’s sleep. Once last call at midnight happens, expect another 45 minutes of loud music vibrating through the floorboards and the windows. If you’re game for easy access to a fun pub & drinks, then you’re in luck! Additionally, while I reported that the WiFi was not working on the day I checked in, nothing was done to rectify the situation for my 6 night stay….no TV…no computer. Lastly, if you look forward to a warm-hot shower for longer than 4 minutes don’t expect one here. The warm/hot water ran out every single day of my stay, whether it be an early morning shower or an evening one and I was solo, so no one else was sharing the water with me. Good luck in the middle of winter when a hot shower is a necessity to de-ice from a day on the mountain!! P.S. there are two sets of stairs to get up to the apartment, so if stairs are an issue for you, this may not be the best option for you.
