Casa Riviera Beachfront Condo-Great View, Two Pools

This one-bedroom, one-bath condo is in the East Building and comfortably holds up to six guests (four adults maximum, please). Sleeping accommodations include a queen bed in the bedroom plus two full-size futons in the living room. Additionally, there are two child-size bunk beds in a nook in the hallway. The kitchen has all the basic appliances you need to cook meals for your family, but if you're not in the mood, there are many family-friendly dining options nearby. Coin-operated washer/dryer located on site. Great views of the Gulf from the patio and entrance overlooks the pool . Free WiFi and smart TVs with free cable included. No pets of any kind. Smoking allowed on the patio only. Guest accessAccess is via an easy key-coded pad on the front door. A parking fee of $40 plus tax is charged by the resort and must be paid at the lobby upon arrival by credit or debit card. No cash. The fee is for your entire stay and covers up to two vehicles.

Clothes where left in bedroom and bathroom from previous renters. Condon was small, but overall not bad. Short walk to the beach. The balcony facing the beach was nice also.

We’ll certainly try to do better. Our great location across from the beach is one of the price factors, and our rates are competitive, if not less, than similar units. Perfect little family spot right by the beach

This place is perfect for a couples get away or small family but would not recommend more then 3 people or 4 if they are not children. The unit is small and cozy with a nice patio facing the road and ocean. We loved drinking our coffee watching the sunrise in the morning . Only recommendation being a blow drier as they did not have one so I had to go buy one once we unpacked. Regular coffee machine so don’t buy the K cups otherwise this has everything you need!! We definitely would stay here again

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, and thanks for letting me know about the blow dryer. There used to be one under the bathroom sink, but it seems to have gone missing. We will replace at our earliest opportunity. Providing a regular brew coffeemaker vs. a Keurig has been an ongoing debate. We do provide an a small supply of coffee for the coffee maker, as well as other coffee supplies. The Keurig-type machines seem to break frequently, but we will certainly consider it. The stay was great. The only complaint is the bed had a full size and the mattress and very uncomfortable also bed made a squeaking noise when you move. The bunk beds were youth size. Other than that the place was very clean great ac. Also the elevator broke and did not get fixed before check out the next day.

I must say, overall, our visit was much less than satisfactory. First, it was a matter of two payments being requested, one rescinded. Second, we were to check-in at 4 PM and did not receive check-in instructions until I finally called. We got them at 5:04 PM. The plastic shower soap dispenser came off of the wall and the television intermittently lost all volume. As a chef, I was excited about cooking some fresh gulf seafood for my family only to realize that the front and largest burner wasn't even connected to the stove. I tried to reconnect it but couldn't see where or how to plug it in - just in bad repair. In terms of general appearance, the walls and woodwork were scraped and unattractive and the place simply needs a paint job. I would never plan to stay there again.

When we checked into the room it smelled like weed. I tried calling the property manager.. no answer. I had an allergic reaction and had to go to the er from the smell. I am allergic to smoke which is why your property should have been perfect. There was sand in the floors the dishes in the cabinet were not clean. Would not stay in nor recommend this unit to anyone

The building/location was accurate. The individual unit rented was horrible. Dusty, Extension cords/ cords everywhere, missing trim, collage of furniture. It was like staying at a “yard sale”. Beyond disappointed. Renter beware...the photos provided were very carefully done.

I apologize that you were disappointed. The unit was cleaned a couple of days prior to your arrival and I personally inspected the unit so I’m surprised you noted cleanliness issues. As for the furniture, there are two matching IKEA sofa beds that are brand new. The remaining furniture was selected to provide as much seating as possible in light of the small size of the unit. Tables similarly were chosen to fit the tight space, including a table with outlets to maximize the number of plugs available for guests to plug in their devices. Most guests find our space attractive and more than adequate for their needs.

Alice and Rod were very quick to response and very helpful. The location was basically on the beach. My parents always brought me down to galveston as a kid and im very happy to give my own kids the experience now. It's close to everything. Lots of stuff to do. Parking was easy

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay. Quick access to the beach and sea wall area. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. Only drawback was noise from the traffic nearby but that’s to be expected most anywhere in that area.
