A house of artists in the countryside to the sea and the sky!

Our house is located in Sobral da Lagoa, a peaceful village perched on the hill next to the famous Obidos City, World Heritage Site. The house offers simply one of the most beautiful views of Portugal! From the south, west and north-west, from sunrise to sunset, the view embraces a vast landscape of countryside, groves, dirt roads and woods, a protected nature reserve in reality, which descends by paths towards the Lagoa de Obidos and the Atlantic Ocean. From the house, you can access the beaches in fifteen minutes by wonderful paths through the countryside and the woods.
Designed by the great Portuguese architect Ricardo Back Gordon, the house has been the subject of numerous publications in contemporary architecture journals. It belongs to a couple of artists who do not occupy it all year.
Sobral da Lagoa is 50 minutes from the splendid Lisbon and its airport. The region is sunny 250 days a year. It offers huge wild beaches and famous seaside resorts like Foz d'Arellho, Figueira da Foz, Nazaré but also many rich medieval towns like Obidos, Sintra, Alcobaça, Tomar and Batalha, all recognized as World Heritage Sites. The hills surrounding the house are ideal for long walks or bike rides. The sea and beaches are perfect for sunbathing, scuba diving, surfing and the Lagoa beach is perfect for children, rowing, win-surfing and sailing.
Golf lovers will not be disappointed, with 6 golf courses, the area is the true golfer's paradise.

The house is 250 m2 and has on the ground floor an entrance, a large living room facing the terrace and the view, including a double living room, an insert (wood), a large dining-room, a kitchen sur- equipped, a wash-house, a bathroom and, on the ground floor, a large terrace and a private pool also oriented towards the view.
The floor offers three large bedrooms each with excellent bedding of 2 beds of 90x200 cm and two bathrooms complete with bathtubs, showers, bidet and W. C. The third bedroom has two bays with views of the countryside, the Lagoa and the ocean and additionally offers a workspace.
The house also has its private garage, and a parking space facing the entrance, as well as wifi, a smart TV and a satellite dish, a landline and the local mobile network.
Hospitality and on-site service are provided by a close friend.
