Our stay met all of our expectations and we enjoyed the condo. It’s about a mile to walk into downtown Jackson, which we did several times. Great location for skiing/snowboarding at Snow King. It’s also close to Stillwest, a great local watering hole for local brews and good food. The condo does not have an oven/stovetop. Not a big deal, but wanted to give full disclosure. The bed is almost too soft with a cushion topper on a memory foam mattress.Overall, good budget friendly place to stay as a base for many activities in the area.
This was a great place to stay! Although it has no a/c it stayed comfortable with the curtains closed during the day and windows open at night, plus the fans running. It was walking distance to town so that was a plus.
Everything was as described and communication was excellent.

I was never texted the door code for access to the unit and had to call 3 times over a 30 minute period before my call was finally returned.

Hi Darryl,
We appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback regarding your stay at Pitchfork 434A. Though we hope you enjoyed your stay overall, we sincerely apologize for the less than seamless check-in.
After looking through our communication, we can see that your check-in text was sent to your number on file a few minutes after 4:00PM, our standard check-in time. Also, we can confirm that we received your voicemail at 3:42PM, and one of our guest relations representatives returned your call at 3:47PM and left a voicemail. While we are glad that you were ultimately able to connect with our team on the phone at 4:00 PM, we sincerely apologize for the phone tag.
We understand that a smooth check-in process is crucial, especially after a long day of travel. We do our best to ensure all of our guests have the necessary information for their stay, and, in addition to the check-in text, all of our guests receive an email invitation to our guest portal containing their access instructions prior to their stay. That being said, we are truly sorry for the difficulties you experienced upon arrival.
Again, thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts and feedback. If you return to Jackson Hole in the future, we would absolutely love another opportunity to host you for a more seamless stay!
Best Regards,
The Outpost Crew
This is a tough one as we really wanted to like it more than we did. We spent a few full days exploring the area so was only in the unit for a limited time. The welcome coffee and donut holes were a nice touch but honestly would have rather been greeted with dishes, cups and mugs that weren't chipped or cracked. Communication was great and timely but we were promised replacement dishes and cups to arrive on the day we checked out which was of no help to us...fortunately there were a few others we could use. We were prepared for the limited kitchen described in the listing which worked for our needs. Location is great but parking is tricky if you arrive later in the day/early evening as there are limited spots available. The furnance in the main room and bedroom are both extremely loud but do heat up the space quickly, lighting isn't the best overall throughout the place and the bed was much too soft for our liking but the unit was clean and worked for our needs.

Thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback. While we’re glad to hear you enjoyed the location and found the unit clean and well-suited for your needs, we’re sorry that some aspects of your stay fell short of expectations.
We sincerely apologize that we weren’t able to deliver the replacement dishes and cups in time for your short visit. This is not the standard we hold ourselves to, and we understand how this impacted your experience. We’re also sorry for the challenges with parking. We’re also sorry for the challenges with parking. We’ve updated our listing with more details about nearby options for Pitchfork homes to help future guests better plan ahead.
Regarding the heating, our team has evaluated the baseboard and in-wall units and confirmed they are working as intended. While they do operate differently than forced-air systems, we appreciate your feedback on the noise level and will continue to monitor guest experience.
Lastly, thank you for your comments on the lighting throughout the home. We’ll keep this in mind as we plan future updates to improve overall comfort.
We appreciate your feedback as it helps us make meaningful improvements, and we hope you were still able to enjoy your time exploring Jackson Hole.
All the best,
The Outpost Team
Looks like they recently did some upgrades, that were done quickly. The SMOKE ALARM was in a drawer, the unit still smelled like paint, hooks on the bathroom wall barely held the weight of a towel and the door going to the back deck was boarded shut!!! (when we contacted the property manager they said they knew nothing about the construction)
We were looking forward to "beautiful Snow King Mountain views from the back deck" and "relaxing on the private deck and watching the sunset after a long day on the slopes or hiking!"........... As Quoted in the listing description.
They did accommodate us in getting into the unit before 4pm, and the unit was clean.

Hi Tiffany,
We are so sorry for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. These oversights are absolutely not up to our standards, and we appreciate you letting us know about them so that we were able to remedy them right way. The HOA unfortunately did not notify us of construction before beginning, which we absolutely agree is unacceptable. We hope the financial compensation we provided helped to offset these inconveniences. We would love to host you for a seamless experience if you ever return to the area.
Sincerely,
The Outpost Crew
Great property in Jackson minutes from all of downtown. Served as a great basecamp for us. Just a couple cons, the folks upstairs were a little heavy footed and the bed was terribly soft and uncomfortable. Neither of which would kee us from coming back. Thanks for a great time with great memories!
Not as advertised… said not pets but there was a dog above us. It was connected to an upper apartment through a door but we were not told that. The door was wide open and not secured but If we had not gone up the stairs and locked it …it would not have been a secure place to stay. No toaster. Kitchen sink was dirty looking, maybe completely stained or dirty but unappealing. The people upstairs were noisy noisy noisy. They were up at 6 am and woke us up … we left and got no help from management at all. We paid for 4 nights and left after 1. . If you want quiet and to feel secure and no pets as advertised …. Do not stay here

Hi Karen! Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. We are very disappointed to hear that you feel as though the unit was not as advertised. Per HOA rules, which were included in the Rental Agreement at the time of booking, pets are not allowed for any renter, but are allowed if they belong to an owner of a unit. While we had not received this complaint in the past, we reached out to the unit above as soon as you made our team aware of the pet, and were told that they did not currently have, nor had ever had a dog. With regards to the upstairs door, this should certainly have been closed and locked by our teams upon inspection of the unit, and sincerely apologize that this was missed. While the door is shared with the upstairs unit, it can be locked from within the downstairs unit, and the upstairs occupants would not be able to open it when locked, similar to a shared hotel door. We do see that our management team reached out over phone as soon as they were made aware of these shortcomings, but received no answer or reply. While a toaster is not a listed amenity at this property, we would have been happy to coordinate delivery of one with our teams, if this was requested. With regards to the kitchen sink, we appreciated you making us aware of what appeared to be a coffee stain. We unfortunately did not have an opportunity to send our housekeeping team back to address this, as you had already departed the unit early.
We stayed here for four nights - while it is modest in size it is very comfortable for two or three people (if you use the big comfy couch to sleep one person). There are two TVs and the Wi-Fi works well, and the bathroom is very nice and clean. There is no oven for cooking but there is a microwave and a hot plate along with a refrigerator. The property is right at Snow King which was very convenient on days where we skiied, but it is also generally close to town and walkable to many fun places. Finally, the property manager was very helpful and checked in often, and our check in/check out experience was easy and smooth. Such a great stay here! Thank you!
We spent 5 nights here while skiing at Jackson Hole. The bathroom and shower was very stylish. Big single bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. A foam mattress cover would be a nice addition. No stove
Great location. Room enough for a family of 4 (toddler, infant, and 2 adults) to spread out. Clean, well-decorated, and stocked with all the essentials. Easy check-in/check-out. No complaints whatsoever!
Great location, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town, but an easy drive or walk. Easy and straightforward check in and directions from management company. No air conditioning, so it was suggested to leave windows open at night to let in some cool air. We did this, but unfortunately both screens (front and rear bedroom windows) were bent, leaving large gaps which let in flies. Parking was an issue most days, as it didn't seem there were enough spots and there was no overflow parking areas. Loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer - and the coffee provided was great! Fun trip and wonderful place to visit!
This property is an apartment in a complex of similar. Directions were made clear, check-in was extremely simple (emailed us everything we needed), and contact with on-site personnel was easy (through email). We were welcomed with a gift package of coffee, donut holes, and a binder full of contact info/suggestions for a great stay. An issue about wifi connectivity was addressed swiftly, as was the absence of coffee filters (delivered promptly). We visited during a heat wave and the place does not have A/C (only a heater), but we were pretty much only there in the evenings, and the evenings cooled off. We were notified the day we were supposed to check in that construction was taking place on the back patio. After communicating some disappointment, management found a reasonable solution - thank you. All in all, the place is in a good location, at the base of Snow King Mountain Resort, and a few blocks from downtown Jackson Hole. We visited Teton National Park and Yellowstone during our stay. It was quiet, quaint and nicely appointed inside. We were pleased overall.
