Surely one of the best places to stay in all of Co. Galway if not Ireland!

This cottage was probably the cleanest BnB rental we have ever stayed in. It was incredibly charming. So comfortable and cozy. The views of the ocean are extraordinary. Johnny and Teresa, the owners, were so kind and helpful. We loved getting to talk to Johnny a few times. We want to go back and go back soon! And I've already told a few people that if they actually go to visit Connemara, this is the cottage where they should stay.

Best place to stay in Cleggan

Regardless of some confusion regarding having a dog, Threasa was very understanding and allowed us to keep her which made our stay even better. Johnny and Threasa were very quick to respond to an electrical issue and managed to get an electrician on a Subday evening!

Nice place in a small seaside village

Theresa and Terence are very kind , the location is located on a small peer , a pub and a small shop are at 5 min walk. A nice view on the sea and a small garden to eat outside. About 15 min from Clifden . We recommend this place.

A delightful place to stay.

Sleep with the waves murmuring in the background and enjoy the view out of the dining room window. Just walk out the door to go for a swim or go fishing! There are plenty of beaches and other places to explore nearby, a village shop with the all the essentials, pubs that offer regular live music and places to go for a quick meal. The only downside was the taste of the tapwater. We used bottled water for our tea and coffee.

Excellent property

Excellent property. Perfect for our stay with 6 adults ad 2 kids. A swim on our doorstep every morning. A short walk to a beautiful beach. Even though we missed out on the heatwave that was covering the country it was still ideal for us. Planning on returning next year.

Great House Great Location

Suffice to say we would rent again. My wife was particularly impressed with the bown bread, chocolate biscuits, milk and real flowers waiting for us. Nice touch. Also the crab claws Jonhhy dropped in went down a storm. The house is comfortable as were the beds and we slept well. The kitchen is well equipped Having Cleggan Bay on your back door step is great and weather permitting a great spot to sit out and watch the sunset over Inis Boffin. We were lucky to be treated to a pod of dolphins in the bay doing what dolphins do. A great week was had by all.

Excellent stay

We have appreciated all many our stay. The sea view, small fishing port, lobsters and products of the sea, the beauty of the landscape, peaceful life, and the small dogs scroungers, who made the beautiful .. and of course inescapable sheeps in the middle of the peat and the flowery roads .. We like Conemara .. and Ireland generally It has been 2 years since we go there .
