Labor Day weekend at Sunset Peak was wonderful. The kids and I enjoyed it as did hubs he just prefers a much more secluded/tree surrounded cabin stay. All amenities were great. We all loved the hot tub. Kitchen had everything we needed for our family meal prep and service. Beds were comfy.

Pros: This was a great stay, and the place was fully stocked with anything you might need. The beds and furniture were very comfortable, and there was plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 kids. The hot tub was already heated upon arrival, the house was cooled, water pressure was great, appliances worked, and everything still feels very new. All the light switches were labeled and housekeeping rules were clearly displayed.
Cons: This is a fast-growing community and construction can be heard as early as 8am on weekday mornings. Also, the the tall trees give the impression of isolation but if you are outdoors you will likely hear other families if they are outdoors. We couldn't hear anything from inside though, so sleeping was never an issue. The roads are asphalt or caliche, so washout during a rainy season sometimes happens. These are the only negatives I could think of, but they would not deter me from staying again. This was truly a great experience.
Pictures don’t do this property justice. Even more beautiful in person. Perfect for a family get away and so much to do in town. Amazing memories were made !
I booked this cabin to celebrate my moms 60th birthday with our immediate family. It was very clean and a great location. There were several restaurants that were only a couple of miles away. The cabin was beautiful and worked perfectly for 6 adults and 1 infant. We originally were going to have two teenagers stay in the loft as well but they ended up not coming. We loved the fire pit with several chairs surrounding it. We also spent some time in the hot tub.
I would stay here again and would reccomond this cabin to any medium sized group.
We loved Sunset Peak Cabin. Very clean and comfortable and easy to get to. We had 7 mid 30s females, and managed to hit all of our reservations on time.
