About this property
Adirondack River Lodge/ Spectacular Waterfalls/ Natural swimming pools.
Independence Falls Lodge is a private Adirondack riverfront retreat set on 2.6 wooded acres with approximately 600 feet of frontage along the Independence River. Surrounded by mature white pines and tucked away on a quiet dead-end road, the Lodge offers a peaceful setting for families and groups looking to enjoy the outdoors while still having plenty of space and comfort.
The riverfront is what makes this property truly special. Follow the gentle trail from the Lodge to explore waterfalls, natural pools, small islands, rock outcrops and scenic stretches of shoreline. Spend the day fishing, exploring along the river or simply relaxing by the water, then gather around the fire pit overlooking the Independence River in the evening.
Inside, the Lodge offers two fully finished levels with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The main level features an open Great Room with cathedral ceilings, exposed timbers and a natural stone electric fireplace. The adjoining kitchen and dining area includes live-edge wood counters and bar tops that complement the Lodge's Adirondack character while providing plenty of room for your group to gather.
Large sliding doors open from the Great Room onto a spacious covered porch overlooking the river and surrounding forest. With plenty of room to sit and relax, the porch is one of the best places at the Lodge to enjoy morning coffee, an afternoon outdoors or the sights and sounds of the river at the end of the day.
The finished walkout lower level provides additional space for families and groups to spread out, with a second Great Room, two bedrooms, a full bathroom and a small office area. It also opens directly onto a covered patio with views toward the river and woods.
Throughout the property, you'll find spaces designed for enjoying the setting, from the covered porch and riverside fire pit to walking paths along the shoreline and a cedar log swing near the water. Whether you're visiting to hike, fish, explore the Adirondacks or simply spend time together in a private riverfront setting, Independence Falls Lodge offers a unique home base for experiencing this part of the Adirondacks.
