About this property

Beautiful custom home in the foothills of Pikes Peak! Only 10 minutes from downtown Woodland Park, 15 minutes to the Pikes Peak tollway, and 25 minutes to Colorado Springs.

Enjoy stunning views in every season without another home in sight! Feel like you're miles away from everything with the convenience of a Walmart just 10 minutes away. This property is completely surrounded by Pike National Forest and in a gated community so you can revel in the peace and quiet of the mountains.

Our little town is full of hiking and biking trails just minutes from your front door. Easy access to Rampart reservoir or any of the Pikes Peak reservoirs for fishing, kayaking, or just enjoying a day by the water. Woodland Park has a new indoor Aquatic center for swimming laps or taking the kids for a fun day in their water activity center and lazy river. Just 90 minutes from skiing, snowmobiling, white water rafting and so much more.

Our home has radiant floor heating and two wood burning fireplaces to keep you cozy in any weather! Need a little warm up? Hop in the hot tub just off the master suite with incredible views and wide open skies for star gazing. We do not have AC due to the high altitude and amazing climate in our area. Just open your windows and enjoy the crisp mountain air!

This home is located in a mountainous region, thus we are considered high altitude. We recommend that guests start hydrating before traveling here and continue to stay very well hydrated to help avoid altitude sickness. Water, water, water!!! (Please use your own discretion when traveling to high altitude areas.)

As of September 2021 the laundry facilities are open for guests. We have large capacity washer and dryer and a utility sink.

Lovely getaway

Our book club came and stayed here for a weekend and had such a wonderful time! The space allowed for all 11 of us to sleep comfortably with just a couple rooms of sharing beds. The views really can't be beat. Rebekah was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect family Thanksgiving

This was a wonderful location to spend Thanksgiving with extended family! The kitchen is amazing, with all the tools needed to cook big meals. Really enjoyed the heated floors and the wood stove downstairs kept it extra cozy. The view of Pike’s Peak is breathtaking, and while you are only a short drive from town (groceries, wal-mart), it feels like you’re in another world. A couple of notes that may be useful for those considering the property: of the 5 bedrooms, 2 are en-suite, but one of those has a triple bunkbed only. We had 2 sets of grandparents with us who really need en-suite, so one set navigated the bunkbeds. They made it work and it was their choice (2 of the downstairs bedrooms are right next to/across the hall from a bathroom, so not far at all). Secondly, if you’re visiting in winter an SUV is a smart choice, just in case there is snow. If there is snow forecast, you may want to consider 4wd. The house is up on the side of a mountain so the road to get there has some steep grades. It’s very well-maintained though! We recommend the property and would definitely stay here again.

This home is awesome, and the view was so beautiful. The home accommodated our whole family, we enjoyed our stay, and is close to Woodland Park, I would definitely return!

Incredible House and Host

I have never been in a more equipped kitchen! Everything was sparkling clean, the host always responded within minutes of a request. The house has a rustic feel which is not my first choice, but it isn't overwhelming. And there really is nothing rustic! We had a large group, 16, so needed to do some negotiating on only 3 showers. Hot tub is great -- chemicals and towels were right there (could probably use a step to get into the hot tub) Second kitchen on lower level really helped food storage (full refrigerator). The deck has a hummingbird feeder, so in addition to padded deck chairs and tables, we could see hummingbirds flitter around us. Best VRBO I have ever rented!

It was absolutely gorgeous! The whole family enjoyed it so much. As we are from Ohio, we we aren’t used to such drives up the mountain. LOL Our daughter got married up at another VRBO higher up the same road and it was very convenient to be so close. We would definitely consider renting this home again! Lovely place, again thank you.

Currently our 3 oldest children live close by in Colorado Springs and our 3 youngest are still living at home. We love living in the mountains and would be honored to share our home with you!
