Pierson Homestead is a unique vacation experience. This home is near to all that Kentucky has to offer. In the middle of the bourbon trail. The indoor and outdoor gathering spaces provide the perfect setting for a quiet, tranquil experience for a happy couple, family gathering, or venue for events. Pierson Homestead has a formal dining room that seats up to ten people with a connected family living area with a large flat screen T.V. The kitchen is completely equipped with all of the tools and appliances necessary to prepare a meal to make your dining experience cozy. The kitchen also has an extra kitchen table that can seat four people. Come sit and enjoy our large balcony deck complete with a gas grill for those outdoor meals. Pierson Homestead is a luxurious home away from home. This two-leveled, five bedroom home, is surrounded by trees, wildlife, horses, and fresh country air. Exceptional Home

We really enjoyed staying in your beautiful home. It was well equipped with everything we needed for a family of 8 and had plenty of room. Loved sitting on the front porch and seeing the wildlife and horses. Will definitely rent again if we need a home close to Bardstown!

Bourbon trail stay

We had 4 couples staying at the house. Roomy for the 8 of us! It was a quiiet setting not far from Bardstown & the places we visited. We enjoyed the pool table for some entertainment. Overall, a very good experience!

Fun house

We had a fun weekend on the Bourbon Trail. The house had everything we needed. Really nice fire pit. Great pool table and game system. We were expecting a 3 full bathrooms. We do wish the door was unlocked between the two bathrooms but it all worked out perfect. The beds were comfy.

Great Gathering Place for the Bourbon Experience

What a great place. We had a large group of 10 friends that wanted the chill together after touring distilleries, breweries and taking the Old Kentucky Dinner Train and boy did we choose a wonderful place. Located just north of Bardstown, the lovely home was the perfect place to relax. Located pretty near most of the places we wanted to visit and five bedrooms and 3 baths, two kitchens, two living rooms and a great deck and patio - we were set! I would certainly recommend the property for your Kentucky Bourbon Trail trip! Thanks ladies!

Great, enjoyable space

Great open space for our group of friends to hang out, socialize, and play games! Very clean, communication with home owner was great! Quick response to my questions, very informative emails from owner to me along the way to help plan our stay as well. Welcome snacks left on the fridge upon our arrival was very welcoming, and was also pleased to see a coffee and breakfast selection for the morning! Outside view was enjoyable. We would definately stay again!

Spacious and clean in a beautiful setting

Our group of 5 couples had a most enjoyable experience using the homestead as a base as we visited several bourbon distilleries and the Breeder's Cup. The house is huge and the grounds are beautiful and overlook a pasture with two very friendly horses who came to visit often. We had planned to go to dinner most nights but ended up making dinner every night in the two well equipped kitchens. Our hosts were very welcoming and we had no issues during our stay. We would definitely return.

Perfect Property, Perfect Location

My wife and I took her father for his 94th birthday to sample some of his favorite beverage on the Bourbon Trail. This house is so nice and comfortable, immaculately maintained; it was a treat to return to each night to unwind and cook dinner. The PacMan machine isn’t there anymore, but the pool table is awesome. It’s perfectly located for exploring the distilleries; the Louisville area is about an hour away, the Lexington area is about 45 minutes, and Bardstown is less than a half-hour. We had a great time, amplified by how nice and spacious this house is. Be sure to bring some extra apples or carrots to feed the horses!

Accessible, spacious and great views

I am a t1 para who uses a power wheelchair. The house was very open and easy to move around, plenty of room for parking. Shower in the master was great. I use a shower chair and the master toilet is raised which made it so I could not back over it but it is great for someone with partial mobility. The beds are high so transfers for me we tough but again it may make it easier for others. I had to go outside to get to the basement but it was very easy to do… basement is also very easy to get around in and the pool table is usable from the chair. Great views, great outdoor space Well stocked upstairs and downstairs Would stay again. Thank you!

We loved this property.

The house was very spacious and comfortable. The host was very responsive to direct phone calls and texts. The grounds were amazing. We did have to drive a bit to get to our destinations but that was well worth it.

Indigo (Florida) Boys Trip - Bourbon Trail

We absolutely loved what the house had to offer and the beautiful grounds. Our stay was awesome, it was so great and everything exceeded our expectations although we loved how the house was depicted on line.Bonuses were the two friendly and beautiful horses we got to meet and pet. We also befriended outside a beautiful chocolate lab.The house welcomed us as family which we felt apart of the minute we arrived.We all hope we can do it again!Thank you!!!!

Accommodations for Daughters Wedding

The hosts were incredibly accommodating! Myself and immediate family members were traveling into the area for my daughter’s wedding. My parents are elderly, and have a hard time getting around and this home was perfect for them. Vicki and Cathy went out of their way to make sure we had an incredible stay. This home is absolutely lovely, very homey, with lots of fun activities, indoors, and outdoors. I highly recommend this property for any age range! I am looking forward to coming back and staying in this beautiful home when I visit my daughter and son-in-law.

Peaceful Stay!

Quiet home in a country setting. It's was very quiet and peaceful. It was about a 25 minute drive to Bardstown. Plenty of room for all of us to enjoy!!!

The location was central to distilleries in Bardstown and Frankfort. Cooked several meals at the house. The beds were comfortable. Only item to mention is one of the bathrooms is a half bath without a tub or shower. The VRBO lists a tub or shower in each bathroom.

PGA championship / bourbon tour

Property was as advertised. Clean and stocked with everything we needed. We spent Thursday at the golf tournament in Louisville. Friday was bourbon trail day. Saturday we ended up at Lover’s Leap winery which was awesome.
