It was clean and spacious enough for me and my 3 kids. They had a blast playing in the Sitka forest behind the cabin and loved exploring the beach across the road. The bbq was very handy as Haines only has a few dinning options this late in the fall. The only thing that seemed weird was the complete lack of coat hangers or hooks of any kind in the cabin. Haines is a pretty rainy and cool place and there wasn't one hook or hanger to be found in the cabin.
In the morning (8am) we reaslized there was no hot water, so we called and informed the owner. She said she'd tell the property manager who stays onsite. Two hours later it was time to leave and there was still no hot water.
I had fabulous time at this cosy getaway , best location ever
close to the ferry station alao close to the downtown area
It was an unforgettable experience to see the bears and their baby cubs
in the wild
Sincerely
Connie
