The house was perfect for our family vacation. Well kept and had plenty of furnishing for our week on SGI. The kids loved fishing in the pier and watching the sunsets too.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay! The home was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for my husband and me, our daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter, son, and two pups. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked with quality cookware, utensils, and appliances, which made preparing meals a pleasure. The views of the bay were absolutely beautiful, and we truly enjoyed the peaceful setting. We look forward to visiting again!

My husband had a great morning fishing from the dock that first day, caught tons of redfish. The home is just as nice as pictured and plenty of room for us. If you have tiny ones may want to bring a couple of baby gates, we didn’t even think about it lol, but the owner has one you can use. The tiny warriors we carried with us enjoyed splashing at the beach and collecting seashells. BJs pizza had an amazing buffalo chicken pizza, and it was a nice slow down retreat

Favorite Beach House

Our favorite home to rent on SGI! It is beautiful, clean and so comfortable. It has a very homey feeling and the owners Steve & Liza put a lot of thought into all the little details! Can’t wait for our next stay!

Amazing property

We had an amazing stay at Legacy Retreat. The home is well stocked with anything you could possibly need. The beds are extremely comfortable and the location is great. The layout of the home is perfect for two couples. We will definitely be back!

Vacation paradise

House is absolutely amazing & beautifully decorated, and so relaxing!! Loved being on the bay, being able to fish, bird watch & look for dolphins. AMAZING SUNSETS!!! And the beach is just a couple of blocks away! So peaceful & quiet, which is exactly what I enjoy these days!

Wonderful vacation rental

We had an amazing time at this property. The pictures show it well, however it is even better. Well equipped, nothing missing. Communication with the owner was excellent. We will definitely come again.

This property was all that it promised plus more. Communication with the owners was over the top. The house itself was amazing, perfectly designed and decorated. The views, especially the sunsets, were off the hook. I can't say enough good things about this property. You won't be disappointed!!!

What a wonderful place to stay!! Liza and Steve have furnished a beautiful home with wonderful views. They thought of every little detail to make our stay just perfect. The kitchen was equipped with anything we needed to prepare our meals. The beds were so comfortable and made for an excellent night’s sleep. Liza was very accommodating and gracious and made our first trip to St. George Island one we will never forget. Our whole experience was excellent. Our only complaint was that we did not stay long enough. We cannot wait to return!!!

A Charming and Relaxing Paradise

Not often do we have the pleasure of enjoying something which exceeds promises and expectations, but the Legacy Retreat is an exception. We decided to stop by for a long weekend on our way to Orlando to complete the week in the parks with the kids, and ended up wishing we spent the entire week at Legacy. Check-in was extremely easy and the host was quick to respond to any questions. The views are breathtaking, the island has the best relaxed atmosphere, beach access is very easy, and everything is just…nice and easy. My blood pressure dropped around 20 points during our 3 days here. We greatly enjoyed and appreciated our time here away from the rushed chaos of the world and look to return in the future.

Best Family Vacation Spot

We just wrapped up the best beach vacation yet! We spent each morning watching the sunrise with coffee on the dock while dad and the kids fished and then sunset on the other side of the dock. Rented a golf cart for easy rides to the beach. The house had all the things we needed and the kitchen was well equipped for a week of cooking. All beds were comfy and we didn’t even care about a day of rain because the house was as much of a treat as the beautiful beach and bay! We loved watching the rain over the bay from the large covered porch. Our hearts are so full and bodies recharged as we head back to Atlanta to start the next school year! Thank you for helping us create lifelong memories…We’ll definitely be back!!

I was hesitant to book this property as we wanted a home in walking distance to restaurants and other activities. I am so happy we decided on this property. It is truly beautiful inside and out. It was the highlight of our trip. We never wanted to leave this beautiful home. The photos online are nice but do not do this gorgeous home / views justice. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. Liza has thought of everything! We will definitely go back to St. George's Island and hope we can rent this beautiful home again. Thank you, Liza!

Amazing bay front home. Very comfortable and had everything we needed for an amazing get away. This is my second time staying and the experience is incredible from communication to the location, the dock for fishing and the home is clean and very well maintained.

This house is absolutely gorgeous! Plenty of room for the 5 of us, and you could fit more (especially if you have little ones). Well stocked with everything you need. Beautiful views and we loved the fire pit outside. Close to the beach and restaurants. Loved that we could bring our dog. We will definitely return for another visit in the future!

I’ve stayed at this house numerous times. Everything is always clean. The host is always available to answer any questions we may have. I’ve been there with and without my pets, this last visit was without. The kitchen is wonderful. I always enjoy cooking when I’m at Legacy Retreat on the Bay. I always love the view!

The BEST!

We’ve been visiting the island for 5 years now and this house has been the best house we’ve stayed at! The home is perfectly decorated and the house is stocked with high quality items. Nice memory foam beds, amazing pillows, fully stocked kitchen, double head shower in the master. It’s obvious that the owners put time into the home to make it feel as cozy as your own. Oh and the view of the bay and sunset, AMAZING! I highly recommend and will stay here again!
