We average 2-3 home rentals a. year. This was unique, unlike any we've stayed in to date. All 10 of us loved it. It's an old, massive home. Very dark, especially on the 1st floor, between the dark wood and heavy curtains. Plenty of space throughout. Big rooms, high ceilings and many beds. It's very quiet, to the extent that someone was yelling for me on the 1st floor and I couldn't hear on the 3rd. It's been renovated in a number of places and appears to still be undergoing renovations, but it's not intrusive whatsoever. Owner lives nearby and is very quick to reply to messaging. Really happy with how this turned out.

Btw...one of the benefits of the unseen aspects of the renovations is the insulation that has been added in the interior and exterior walls and ceilings and the quadruple insulated glass on many windows. Folks regularly comment that it has been the best sleep they have had in a long time. As you mentioned we continuously work to improve the guest experience on many fronts. This is the most amazing property! It has been beautifully restored and has everything you might need. We had planned to go out for dinner but decided to stay in we loved it so much. Our host was great - sent excellent, clear instructions and was very gracious when I misunderstood how something worked and had to come check on it. Will definitely stay here again!

Quirky, roomy and full of character

There were eight adults and we all appreciated the house's nooks, crannies and design. Comfortable living room, roomy dining room and efficient kitchen. Plenty of bathrooms. Overall pleasant stay.

Phenomenal Weekend

Stayed here with some friends for NYE and we were all wowed. The house is gorgeous and so spacious. Everyone had their own space and felt so at home. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will definitely stay here again. The host was so accommodating and sweet, 100% recommend this property.

Expectations...met!

This place was perfect for our group with private space for four couples, and ample gathering space for all during our stay. Location easily accessible to downtown MPLS. Host was very responsive and proactively communicated specifics regarding our stay. Would recommend, and am saving this listing for future stays in MPLS.
